Chapter 10 Dead Water
“That’s it, that’s the place where I got enchanted . ”
Ye Shaoyang’s eyes followed the direction that Xiao Ma pointed in . There, he saw a lonely tomb that sat in the swamp . However, this did not draw his curiosity . The treetop slanted forward, and its leaves covered a few tombs . There was a pool of still water a short distance from the tombs . It reflected the cold light of the moon . Ye Shaoyang let out a sigh and said, “No wonder this place is haunted, this is a swamp filled with dead water and dried up trees . Ye Shaoyang followed Xiao Ma’s line of sight and saw a person’s hazy figure . She walked slowly in their direction . Her long hair hung down, which covered her shoulder and face . She looked similar to a spirit from the movies .

The lady was now in front of the locust tree . Suddenly, the female spirit behind her stood up and bent forward . She started to slip into the lady’s body like a snake . Then, the lady stood up straight and began to take off her belt . She strung the belt on a low hanging branch and made a loop . Without any hesitation, the lady put her head through the noose; she was about to hang herself .
As she was about to hang herself, a hand suddenly ca from behind . It accurately stuck a purple talisman onto the forehead of the lady . Then, he touched her ixin point between her eyebrows with his thumb . He began to pull the spirit out of the lady . The spirit let loose a painful screech, as it fell to the ground . The female spirit wasted no ti . She swiftly got up, and her hands reached out toward Ye Shaoyang . Her fingers were skinny, and her nails were sharp .
“Still want to fight?” Ye Shaoyang smirked, as he took a step back and easily dodged the spirit’s attack completely . Then, he lifted his hand and tossed out eight old Chinese coins, which ford a Bagua .
“O' mighty Heaven and Earth, with the power of Yin Yang, destroy!”
Ye Shaoyang ford a hand seal and pushed it forward . The eight coins flew toward the spirit and struck her chest with force . This move heavily injured the female spirit and she laid on the ground . A hole had appeared on her left chest, which spurted out blood .
Obviously, spirits do not have blood, but her heavy injuries ant that she was unable to retain a better form . As such, she reverted to the state of when she had died .
“So you were shot . What a waste of a beautiful woman like you,” Ye Shaoyang liked to toy with these spirit, and he never took it too seriously .
“Please Mister, I will never do this again… . ” The female spirit was trembling, as she pleaded for herself . After that small tussle with Ye Shaoyang, she knew she could not match his powers . He was not an ordinary sorcerer .
Ye Shaoyang casually placed his hands behind his back, and looked at the female spirit, “From what you’re wearing, you must be from the era of the early republic . You’ve already died for such a long ti . Why haven’t you gone to reincarnate? Instead, you stay in the mortal realm and kill the innocent . ”

Not long after, the female spirit began to fade and slowly disappear .
This was it? Ye Shaoyang felt that sothing was not right . Even though he was powerful, that spirit was at least a hundred years old . She had cultivated evil and even killed so people, so she should not be this weak!
At this mont, Ye Shaoyang looked down toward the dead pool of water before the grave . He smirked and realized what was going on .
