"Are you sure?", Reaper asked Mo Chou.

Mo Chou knew that it would be hard to believe if soone sprung up sothing like this all of a sudden too, so she said, "yeah, I am sure, Everything is the sa as my favorite novel".

Reaper had no choice but to believe her as it seed like Mo Chou was not joking around and was dead serious about the matter.

"Then what about the villainess you were talking about?" Reaper asked her, wanting to know more.

"Ohh, about that, I woke up in this body after my death. The previous owner of this body had the sa na as and is also a villainess" replied Mo Chou.

Hearing her words, Reaper got a little worried, "then doesn’t it an that you are in danger, if you are in the body of a villainess".

"Ahh, don’t worry about , even though I am in a villianess’s body, I am still fine as I ca here before she could do anything bad and the male lead of this novel is also my step brother. I have a good relationship with my step brother and since I didn’t follow the plot of the novel, I should be fine".

Reaper heard her words and asked, "so this world doesn’t follow the plot of the novel anymore"?

Mo Chou thought about it and answered, "I am not an expert but I think that most of the events in the plot won’t happen now because firstly, I didn’t follow the plot and secondly, the body of the one who was supposed to be the female protagonist in the novel was also taken over by soone else".

"Hmm" Reaper humd, "it’s a good thing that the plot is altered as I know that the villains in novels don’t end up well, did the novel ever ntion ?"

Mo Chou answered him, "nope,I don’t think so and I actually don’t take this world as one inside of a novel anymore, I’m grateful to have transmigrated here to be honest and I don’t really care about the plot though it is nice to know a few things".

Reaper nodded acknowledging Mo Chou’s words, "whether it was written in the novel or not, This is our life now".

Mo Chou decided not to talk about the novel anymore, it wasn’t really important now anyway, so she asked in a sowhat joking manner instead, "so what happened after I died and all"?

She thought Reaper would laugh along but his expression turned serious instead, "about that, I have a lot of things I want to tell you".

Mo Chou also beca serious looking at Reaper’s grave face.

"Do you know how we ended up at the training compound?" asked Reaper.

"No, not really but I always thought we were abandoned or orphans just like most of the other kids there" answered Mo Chou.

"That’s what I had thought too but I got to know later that our parents were actually friends. Our fathers were both top assassins".

Mo Chou was shocked and asked him to tell her more.

"I actually had so mories of my mother when I ca to the compound, I wanted to find more about her and started looking for information when we beca teenagers" said Reaper, "I found so information about our parents then, but a higher up from the compound approached saying he was my parent’s friend. He told that your father had betrayed my parents and was the reason for their deaths".

Mo Chou was horrified upon hearing Reaper’s words, "was it true? Is that the reason behind your change?" She asked him.

"Actually yeah, I started having resentnt towards you because of what he told " Reaper sighed, "but I really regret it".

Looking at his sad and regretful expression, Mo Chou comforted him,"It’s fine, I can understand why you distanced yourself, I would probably have held so resentnt too if I was in your place".

"No, I shouldn’t have held you accountable for sothing like that which you had no control over and you know what the worst thing was? After your death, I found out that the higher up was actually the one who had betrayed both of our parents and caused their deaths" Reaper said angrily.

Mo Chou was absolutely shocked, "w_what? What was the reason behind his actions?"

"He felt jealous of our fathers friendship and felt that they were threats, before becoming a higher up, he was also an assassin who was ranked lower than our fathers, he held resentnt towards them because he never succeeded in threatening their positions" answered Reaper.

Mo Chou understood sowhat, the assassins at the compound were very bloodthirsty and were always fighting to get to the top, so had even tried to harm her before but they had just never succeeded.

"I’m really sorry little one, no, Mo Chou. I should never have believed that ba****d. In the end you even died because of him" said Reaper.

Although Mo Chou was sad that Reaper, who had always called her little one, had changed his form of address, she could understand him. She asked, "how was my death caused by him though? Didn’t I die during a mission"?

"No, you could have easily dodged those people chasing you but that despicable guy gave them your exact location which gave them a huge advantage resulting in you getting shot".

"So that was what happened, you know it’s fine now right, I don’t have any regrets and I really enjoy my current life" stated Mo Chou.

Reaper gave her a sad smile and said, "I’m glad you feel that way".

"Hmm, so did you ever get a girlfriend after I died or did you stay single and grumpy your whole life?" Mo Chou asked Reaper in a joking tone to lighten the mood.

Reaper gave her a small smile and said, " actually no, I never got the chance to get a girlfriend, after you died and I ca to know the whole truth, I decided to take revenge by killing that ba****d but unfortunately I failed and got killed instead as he had the protection from the compound as he was a higher up after all".

Mo Chou felt like her jaw was about to drop, "so you died right after while trying to take revenge"?

"Umhm, yeah now that I t you and know that you’re happy, my only regret is not succeeding in killing that betrayer".

Mo Chou didn’t want Reaper to be hung over their past lives, although they were both assassins in this life too, their conditions were different now, "let’s forget about all that stuff now, if that person gets transmigrated here, I’ll help you end him" she said jokingly.

"That would be nice" Reaper said with a laugh, "so, tell more about your new life".

Mo Chou imdiately took the opportunity and launched into a conversation regarding her family and friends. She told him everything and even ntioned the evil Baobao which made Reaper laugh, he had always been amused with Mo Chou and her fear of cats.

Mo Chou even ntioned Lu Jinhai, she did know that she looked even more enthusiastic while talking about Lu Jinhai but Reaper quickly noticed it, he smiled and thought, "seems like she has a little crush".

By the ti they finished their chat, Reaper’s gloomy mood had completely disappeared. He was very happy that Mo Chou had such a nice family and caring friends now.

But he still could not help but feel a little lonely, he wished he had been reborn as Mo Chou’s family instead, after what he had done he didn’t have the courage to ask Mo Chou to treat him like how she did before, like her big brother.

Mo Chou rubbed her stuffed belly, when she arrived here, Reaper had already ordered food and everything was her favorite too. She looked at the ti and saw that it was almost ti for all the classes to end.

Mo Chou wanted to reach the university so that she could pretend that she had never left in the first place. "I have to go now, classes are almost over, let’s save each other’s numbers and et up so other day".

"Ohh, okay" although Reaper wanted to spend more ti with her, he still understood that Mo Chou had sneaked out without informing her bodyguards, so he gave her his phone and stood up.

Reaper was a little clueless as to what to say, seeing his expression, Mo Chou decided to help him out and said, " text later, bye big brother".

With that she opened the door and walked away leaving the emotional Reaper behind. He was thankful that Mo Chou had forgiven him and was even willing to call him big brother just like how she did before. He promised himself, "In this life, I’ll definitely beco the best brother and protect my little one".
