Benjamin smiled lightly, "This is perfect," he said to himself. It was a great item, that others probably wouldn’t be able to even attempt making. There was a high level of control placed on the ’logging in’ and ’logging out’ parts of the system, but for Benjamin, the access to the system was weakened enough to let him tap into that and pull out the ability that referenced this ability.
With that, Benjamin was able to force any player to log out if he needed to. Though, if that happened, that might cause a lot of issues. Public scrutiny and such; things that he really didn’t want to deal with. However, that really just ant that he couldn’t abuse this power. If he needed to, as a last-ditch effort, he could force people to log out for a little while. Most people would just log in again, but that was basically the perfect ti to just set up a trap and get rid of them the mont the ’protection’ disappeared.
Stay tuned to .Côm
But there was sothing else that Benjamin found useful with this. As long as the knife was stuck in a player, it should, effectively, make it impossible for them to access the ga. Basically, the artificial body their soul was connecting with would imdiately force them back out. They would be practically ’banned’. This was, at the very least, a great way to buy so ti when fighting soone like Samuel. Benjamin was sure that he had so safe-fail asures set up, and might even have a few different secondary bodies that he could connect to if necessary, so it wouldn’t hold him off forever, but it was definitely enough to buy a decent amount of ti in a fight.
With a smile, the old man pulled the capsule back shut and logged back into the ga.

Eisen stood there with the knife in his hand. It was still quite close to his finger, so he quickly pulled it back. This was much too dangerous an item to just keep around, and that was actually similarly the case with the item that he had made for Brody. A sword that can lock away all the user’s mana was dangerous, and if Eisen wasn’t careful, he could get affected by it as well by just keeping it close. Plus, who knew what sort of bad sideeffects it could have by just leaving it in a space like this inside the dungeon?
No, Eisen had to make sure that the curses could only be effective when needed. And so, it was ti to make so sheaths. Specifically, sheaths that could act as seals for the curses. Luckily, in order to prepare for a potential fight against Samuel, Xenia had been researching sealing magic in particular and had explained it to Eisen before so that he could already practice employing those techniques in items. So, this was the perfect ti for that.
Sealing magic was actually a pretty simple matter. All you had to do was suppress the energy and trap it within either an object or a space, forcing a connection between whatever is sealed and whatever it has been sealed in. For that, a deep knowledge of the sealed being or energy was needed. And, since Eisen was the one that made these items and placed these curses onto them, he of course had a perfect understanding of them.
He picked out a good piece of fairly stiff leather, and quickly cut it into the right shapes for the two different sheaths. In order for the sealing to actually work, Eisen basically just had to place an enchantnt on the side of the leather facing the sword and knife respectively. Though it technically wasn’t an enchantnt, the main difference was only the ’syntax’, the way that the patterns were formatted. Different shapes, different ratios, and most importantly, completely different symbols that were used to define the actual effects.
That being the case, since this was the first ti Eisen was actually placing sealing magic onto an item, he made sure to take his ti and reference the notes that he took while Xenia was teaching him about it. And though it seed like Eisen did have so experience with sealing magic in the past, it apparently wasn’t strong enough of a mory to just pull him into it right now.
"Actually, now that I’m thinking about it..." Eisen muttered to himself. Since he forcefully broke out of that mory last ti, when Silber died, he has been experiencing those monts much more rarely. Rather, he wasn’t experiencing them at all anymore. Eisen has been so busy since then that he didn’t even realize it until now. And it wasn’t that Eisen was complaining about that; those monts where he was basically forced to relive his mories, not being sure what was the past and what was the present, was incredibly, incredibly jarring and at tis even made him physically sick.
Hopefully, Eisen could figure out a way to still access his past mories. That whole thing with the ’mory orbs’ that the others are still dealing with right now sort of disappeared ever since Eisen started accessing mories directly. So if he didn’t figure out a way to let mories flow into him again, then he might not be able to rember things at the speed that he used to anymore. It was really quite annoying. Rembering things about black dragons on the way here was also an annoyingly gradual process and not the sort of instant realization that it used to be.
Either way, for now, Eisen just took a deep breath and shook his head, choosing to just try and finish this work for now. He could always try and figure out sothing later when he had a little less on his mind. Eisen finished placing the sealing magic onto the leather, and then quickly stitched the halves together, creating two simple leather sheaths. To make them a bit less boring, Eisen added so simply decorative carvings and other small pieces that didn’t directly hold any practical purpose. And then, to ensure that the weapons couldn’t be accidentally drawn or fall out at so point, Eisen tied the two weapons down into the sheaths with a thick tallic thread that was quite annoying for even Eisen to try and just force apart. Actually, it was more likely you were going to break the sheath itself rather than the thread, so this should work just fine.
With the forced log-out and the mana-locking cursed weapons now done, Eisen placed both into his item storage to show them to the others later. After all, though Eisen was pretty certain that the curse wouldn’t negatively affect Brody, there was always a possibility that he was wrong. It was his first ti really dealing with curses like this, after all.
But there were so other things that Eisen wanted to give a shot while the others were sleeping. Rather than these sorts of cursed weapons, Eisen wanted to make use of support tools. Basically, sothing like a rope that would drain the one tied up of their strength, or darts that inflicted negative status effects. Maybe Eisen could even make so cursed potions and have lissa’s potion bees sting people with it. Clearly, there were a ton of different useful cursed effects that Eisen should be able to play around with if he got creative enough. After all, one of the players had an ability to have soone be eaten alive by maggots. It didn’t seem like there was any particular limit on these, as long as they were in the realm of ’negative’.
"... Maybe I could get the Filth to help co up with sothing. They should have a pretty good grasp of these things," the old man muttered. Everything that made up the Filth’s ver being was in the realm of what Eisen would consider a ’curse co to life’, "Actually, if I could teach them so craftsmanship and sohow give them the ability to make cursed items, maybe they could make so pretty insane things based on what they saw in their original world."
The old man grinned lightly as he thought about that. Who could tell right now, whether or not that could be a perfect thod to pay Samuel back for all the horrors that the five originals were put through over the millennia.
