“Monster. You are a monster.” Elise Sands said hoarsely to Elliot as he cancelled his spell and made everything wink out as though they were never there.
It would be a catastrophe of unimaginable proportions for planet Earth if he allowed the spell to bloom to completion, even at 1 percent of his strength.
Elliot’s power when unleashed via the energy manipulation principles of Ascendant Runes had risen to heights that not even Elise Sands could imagine possible!
“It’s not that bad, don’t worry too much about it. I only managed to master it so quickly because I’ve clustered chunks of the rune together to form formations.
It’s like morizing a story. If you morize a story based on every single sentence of the story, you would take a long ti to even morize ten chapters.
But if you morize it based on tropes and mini-arcs, determine the character’s attitudes and motivations, you could gain a big picture instantly, and you don’t even need to morize every single sentence. You just need to know the flow of events, and everything else would fall naturally into place.” Elliot shared his thod for quick mastery generously.
Of course he was generous.
The quicker Elise Sands got stronger, the better it would be for him who would be depending on her to achieve his goals!
“Hee hee, you are pretty old. Look, Primal Alexander is done with his rune too! And amazingly, Jennifer and Jessica as well!!” Jessica Sands said excitedly and caused Elise Sands face to turn slightly sour.
So she was the slowest out of the whole gang? She even lost to the two twins?
“I must have spent far too long in retirent.” Elise Sands sighed. “Maybe this ten-“
“Fifteen.” Elliot imdiately corrected her.
“Fifteen.” Elise Sands glared at him in irritation. “Years would be a good thing for . Very well! A deal is a deal! Let’s play for fifteen years then! What do you want to do now?”
“Let’s go and attack the Shadow Realm imdiately.” Elliot said seriously.
“What about us?” Jennifer said. “I don’t think you’ll allow us to tag along on such a dangerous mission.”
“Yeah. Boo big bro.” Jessica pouted.
“You can stay with master.” Elliot said with a gentle smile.
“You still rember you have a master huh? I am glad.” Primal Lilian chided him lightly.
“Of course I do.” Elliot replied with a smile. “Jessica will be setting up our new empire and putting it in order. Master, would you like to be involved? You can be as involved as you want.”
“I am way past playing with politics and power.” Primal Lilian said with a laugh. “At our power level, most Primals either beco exceedingly ambitious or beco exceedingly aloof. I am afraid I am the second type. I have no interest in managing an empire.
However, I am interested in nurturing the two girls, who I suspect would want to be involved with the empire. So I shall stay with them and teach them there. You don’t have to worry about them at all. No harm shall fall upon them as long as I am here.”
Elliot was extrely touched by Primal Lilian’s words.
They had barely known each other, and yet she had already treated them like her own.
True, a portion of those feelings probably appeared when they consud her blood in such generous amounts. But Elliot suspected that Primal Lilian was also lonely.
In anycase, he would be able to unleash hell on the Shadow Realm without having to worry about his sisters.
That would be perfect.
“I will be returning to my own multiverse to deal with the challenges there. But I will return with my wife and my army as soon as we are done. At that ti, I will aid you in taking down the Ascendant Realm.” Primal Alexander said as he stood up.
“Alright. Take care!” Elliot said calmly.
With that, the three groups said their goodbyes once more and then split up, leaving Elliot alone with Elise Sands and his Dragon Apostles.
“Master. It would be best if we hide in your Apostle Dinsion. That way, our enemies would not know what hit them if and when we are required to fight.” Dragon Apostle Golden Fire said.
“Excellent idea. Please do that.” Elliot said.
His Dragon Apostles bowed formally and then disappeared.
“Shall we go? Based on Primal Alexander’s initial intelligence, we have enough targets to last us an entire day.” Elliot said as he double checked and confird the list.
“Before we go, I need to know one thing. What are your feelings towards my great granddaughter like?” Elise Sands asked as she leaned heavily on her old woman cane.
“Jessica Sands? She is my lucky star. Almost all I have today, I have because of her. As for feelings… I am grateful.” Elliot said carefully but firmly.
He completely understood where Elise Sands was coming from. And with such a powerhouse, honesty was always the best policy.
“You need to make that clear to her. And you better to it sooner than later. That little girl is still very immature and innocent. Do not play with her and break her heart. Do you understand ?” Elise Sands said quietly.
“Of course. As I ntioned, I am very grateful for her. I will definitely not play with her.” Elliot said calmly.
“Good. Do it when we return.”
“Not a problem.”
“You sure you don’t like her?”
“I do like her. Just not romantically.”
“Are you sure? She’s very rich.”
“I am sure.”
“You like another girl?”
“No.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes I am sure.”
“Hmmmmm. You like boys?”
“WHAT? NO WAY!!”
“Just checking. So you’re just not in the mood?”
“I am an apocalypse survivor. I don’t have the mood for love.”
“So you might have the mood for love when you beco an emperor?”
“Yes? Maybe? I don’t know. Why are we talking about this?” Elliot asked with mild frustration.
“You truly are still in survival mode. Poor boy. I will help you enjoy life once we are done with this crisis. Maybe by that ti you will develop feelings for my great granddaughter. Ok I changed my mind. Don’t tell her anything when we return.” Elise Sands said with a chuckle.
“Alright. Fine. Can we go now?” Elliot asked rather impatiently, eager to get out of the suprely awkward conversation.
“Sure. Let’s go.” Elise Sands said as she waved her hand.
Whoosh!!
With that, they penetrated Realm Barriers and imdiately appeared in the Shadow Realm.
