Chapter 455: Chapter 454: One After Another
Botta Blood Plain, Sharp Wind Continent, Sky Flow Valley.
As ti passed, Sky Flow Valley got increasingly popular; there were always rumors about so famous sorcerer arriving, even so Arcane Wizards.
“Sorcerer Ivan, when we have ti, let’s further discuss those questions from earlier.”
“I’d be honored to receive guidance from you.”
“Oh, don’t say that; in the sorcerer world, the knowledgeable lead. I’m only older than you by age, apart from that, you and I are on the sa level. There’s no seniority between us.”
“Then I’m much obliged, Sorcerer Nelson.”
...
That day, Ivan visited an Enchantnt Master, and the two found much in common.
Sorcerer Nelson had also only recently arrived in Sky Flow Valley.
Originally, Ivan had joined the Enchanters Guild with a token from him and consequently beca an elder of the East Capital guild.
In this regard, Nelson was his introducer, and knowing his location, it was proper to visit him. Both being Enchantnt Masters, they naturally shared many common topics.
They talked for a long while and agreed to continue their discussions next ti before Ivan left his residence.
Soon after, Ivan returned to his two-story Round Tower.
Lately, influenced by the activation of the Star Realm Gate, more people rushed to Sky Flow Valley. From Morris, he knew that there were now eight Arcane Wizards gathered, showing the sorcerers’ vast interest in the Star Realm.
However, these had no direct connection with him.
He didn’t rashly visit any Arcane Wizard; instead, he stayed in his own area conducting his research. Occasionally, so Level 2 or Level 3 Sorcerers would visit the Round Tower, and he received each patiently, making nurous acquaintances.
As for Tanaya, whom he’d t earlier, she visited again, still accompanied by Mara, who subtly showed hostility.
He remained polite, responding to moves as they ca, temporarily unable to discern their intentions—unsure if the lady had ulterior motives or if he was overthinking.
“The construction difficulty of the dium-sized Energy Gathering Tower has increased quite a bit, luckily, it’s still within my capabilities, just needing to follow procedures to complete.”
“Once this Energy Gathering Tower is built, it can also be moved to the Hunting Space, as it’s useless here in Sky Flow Valley.”
After returning to his residence, Ivan entered the inner Hunting Space through the Silver Moon Blade.
Counting the ti, it had been almost two months since he left the Great Sky River.
Currently, the Hunting Space had undergone many changes; the central island had expanded more than twice its size, the surface of the island had beco flatter, and new additions included a large Space-type energy particle pool, a small Energy Gathering Tower, and several Dark Blood Trees.
The developnt of the Hunting Space was just beginning, and its elental traits were focused on Space-type; the previously built energy particle pool and Energy Gathering Tower were now usable.
He unapologetically used them, as he had larger stakes in Sky Flow Valley and didn’t care about these minor items.
It was clear, as the energy in the Hunting Space continuously increased, the space’s area didn’t expand, but the barriers around slowly beca tougher and thicker.
All signs indicated that the Hunting Space was evolving and improving continuously.
“Sorcerer Ivan, you’ve arrived. While you chat with Miss Jenny, I’ll go and catch up with Mason,” it said, brightly moving aside as he arrived.
“Wait!” Jenny called out imdiately.
“Miss Jenny, I—”
“Rember to ponder what I taught you, and in a few days, I’ll examine your mastery.”
Hearing her words, the swamp ant looked towards Ivan with pleading eyes, but Ivan didn’t intervene; the swamp ant, with a morose face, could only nod.
“Jenny, it seems you’ve taught well.”
“I’ve never taught such a dim-witted being before, not only rigid in thought but also lacking a heart driven to learn.” Jenny bluntly pointed out.
The swamp ant was not far away, hearing this clearly made its face stiffen, yet it dared not retort anything.
It only had itself to bla for impulsively making that request within the Great Sky River; otherwise, it wouldn’t have found itself struggling with learning, a task clearly unsuited for an Ant Beast.
“Take your ti teaching, no rush,” Ivan said with a smile. “Compared to other insects, swamp ants do have more ambition.”
Sorcerer Ivan understands !
The swamp ant nodded repeatedly not far away, feeling a surge of warmth in its heart.
“This isn’t acceptable. If its strength remains this poor, how will it protect you, Sorcerer Ivan? In a dangerous situation, you might have to protect it instead,” Jenny clearly disapproved.
“It’s fine as long as it does its job well,” Ivan said.
“Sorcerer Ivan, you’re too indulgent. It clearly has the potential to beco stronger and take on more responsibilities, but you’re letting it stagnate due to laziness. This really isn’t right—” Jenny said.
“You know, I’ve always respected everyone’s wishes, and it’s the sa with the swamp ant. I think it’s doing quite well now. Alright, alright, I still need to consult you about carrying and sealing the earth’s energy. I hope you can maintain your enthusiasm for teaching,” Ivan interrupted.
It seems, even Sorcerer Ivan feels my strength isn’t sufficient, but he still protects everywhere.
The swamp ant, listening on the side, felt a sudden sense of sha upon hearing their subsequent conversation and realized it had not cherished its potential enough.
No, I must pull myself together!
Jenny is right. I need to beco stronger, take on more responsibilities, and protect Sorcerer Ivan. I can’t continue like before.
anwhile, as Jenny and Ivan discussed the earth’s energy, the swamp ant listened quietly, noting everything it didn’t understand in its heart to ask them about later.
Jenny and Ivan, noticing this, understood without further discussion needed to ntion the swamp ant.
What the swamp ant didn’t know was that one of the individuals was the actual person while the other was a clone. They were profoundly familiar with each other; a simple glance could convey much, making their cooperation seamless.
Moreover, Jenny always unconditionally obeyed once Sorcerer Ivan spoke, and she would never contradict him in front of others.
An anomaly suggests sothing suspicious!
…
Five days later, Morris rushed to the second floor of the Round Tower.
“Ivan, Ivan, co quickly, follow ,” he said.
“Stabilize your breath before speaking,” Ivan responded.
Seeing the abruptly appearing Morris, Ivan didn’t know what to say. He had never seen such an imprudent Level 3 Sorcerer.
“What is it? What’s the big deal?”
“The Five-Colored Magic Robe is assembling. Isn’t that a big deal?” Morris’s face still showed his excitent.
“Assembling?” Ivan paused for a mont, then realized, “Are you saying Master Hotis has co to Sky Flow Valley?”
“Exactly, so tell , as the elite core of the Five-Colored Magic Robe, shouldn’t we go and et him imdiately?” Morris nodded firmly, signaling him to hurry up.
“Wait a minute!”
“What?”
“Never mind, I’ll go with you. You’re right; we do need to et Master Hotis.”
Ivan’s hesitation wasn’t about the ‘Five-Colored Magic Robe,’ but about the ‘Five Leaves Spear.’
In fact, the Five Leaves Spear wasn’t an openly known organization, and while its specifics weren’t clear to him, its other na, ‘Archibald’s Spear,’ was infamously known in the sorcerer world, which made him sowhat apprehensive.
Upon reflection, thinking about Hotis’s frequent dispatches to the East Capital Rapid Wood Tower and the public cover provided by the Five-Colored Magic Robe, he felt it was urgent to et them directly.
“What are we waiting for, hurry up and follow ,” Morris, unconcerned with his hesitation, was solely focused on seeing his idol.
“I need to give a few instructions.” Ivan, not as passionate, made sure everything at ho was in order before leaving the tower with him.
On the way, he habitually analyzed Hotis’s purpose. Logically, Hotis shouldn’t be interested in matters like the activation of the Star Realm Gate, so why had he traveled all this way to Sky Flow Valley?
Sky Flow Valley seed to be getting livelier each day.
