After putting down the sand in his hand, Hu Xiaobei began to subconsciously imagine...

This place used to be a lush grassland, a paradise for countless animals.

Later, it suffered so kind of terrifying disaster.

The result was that it was no longer a paradise but a dreadful purgatory...

"Although I don’t know exactly what happened, judging from the changes here, that calamity was truly frightening!"

Murmuring to himself, Hu Xiaobei gathered his emotions, continuing to step forward.

Although Hu Xiaobei was curious about how this place had beco like this, he wouldn’t investigate it as he had more important tasks to do right now.

The most important thing was, of course, to gather the dicinal herbs he needed.

Hu Xiaobei wasn’t sure if there were indeed the herbs he needed here, but since he had co, he naturally had to search everywhere.

...

"Holy crap, this place is really desolate!"

As Hu Xiaobei searched earnestly, the Treasure-hunting Rabbit muttered quietly.

Earlier, after squeezing through that cracked gap, he had co upon a vast desert.

Watching the sand whipped into a sandstorm by the wind, he frowned in surprise.

Before, because he had slled the scent of herbs in the mist, he believed there must be a large dicinal garden beyond it.

As it turned out, this was not the case...

Truthfully, completely unexpecting this situation, he was utterly shocked.

Taking a deep breath, he cald himself.

Afterward, he started to sniff earnestly.

Sniffing a little, he beca more frustrated as he didn’t sll a hint of the dicinal fragrance.

"There doesn’t seem to be any dicinal herbs here."

Making this judgnt, the Treasure-hunting Rabbit prepared to leave this place.

Yet, he was sowhat unwilling...

"Earlier, I definitely sensed it, maybe I should look around a bit more."

After this thought ford, he oriented himself swiftly towards the ten o’clock direction.

He didn’t know why he should head this way.

He just thought this direction was slightly better than the others.

...

"If I’m not mistaken, this place used to be a large lake, but now, everything has dried up."

Standing beside a piece of cracked land, Hu Xiaobei squinted.

Hu Xiaobei at this mont gazed afar; everything within view was filled with fissures.

Hu Xiaobei could imagine this once truly being a sparkling lake.

Countless animals relied on its waters to survive.

Later, so terrifying transformation turned it into a desert; naturally, many animals that depended on it also vanished completely.

"I wonder if those animals relocated or completely disappeared."

Thinking of the bone fragnts he had seen earlier, Hu Xiaobei had his answer.

With a sigh, Hu Xiaobei continued forward across the cracked land.

As he walked, Hu Xiaobei saw many fish bones on the ground that had long since fossilized.

Many of them appeared frighteningly sinister.

"Once, it was surely the ruler here, but now it has beco a pile of fish bones. It’s truly terrifying to think about!"

Though lanting, Hu Xiaobei maintained his pace...

Five minutes later, Hu Xiaobei had crossed the area that was once a lake brimming with mist.

"Hmm?"

Hu Xiaobei looked sowhat astonished at the distance...

The reason was he sensed a hint of familiarity.

"What’s going on here?"

Feeling puzzled, Hu Xiaobei scrutinized the area more closely, soon spotting a pair of long ears.

"How did he appear here?"

Once Hu Xiaobei confird the person, he asked himself in surprise.

As Hu Xiaobei was surprised, the Treasure-hunting Rabbit was equally taken aback.

Previously, as he advanced along the ten o’clock direction, the further he went, the more he sensed a familiar presence.

With this feeling, he was particularly astonished.

Because he knew he hadn’t been here before, logically there shouldn’t be anyone familiar...

Out of curiosity, he approached quickly...

Eventually, he confird that the familiar presence was his owner Hu Xiaobei...

Though unsure why Hu Xiaobei was here, he quickly approached.

"Master, why are you here now?"

"That’s what I want to ask you!"

Upon eting, Hu Xiaobei and the Rabbit both spoke...

Soon, Hu Xiaobei and the Rabbit shared the reasons for coming here.

After understanding, Hu Xiaobei looked deeply at him, saying, "Did you really sense the scent of dicinal herbs in that mist before?"

"Yes! I really felt it at that ti, and it wasn’t just an ordinary dicinal scent."

Treasure-hunting Rabbit glanced at Hu Xiaobei and nodded quickly.

If it were any other scent, he wouldn’t be so sure.

But the dicinal fragrance, he was certain because his nose was the most accurate for detecting it.

Knowing he wouldn’t lie about such things, Hu Xiaobei nodded gently, solemnly saying, "Since there was a dicinal scent, it indicates there must be sothing here, but we still need to keep searching."

"Alright!"

Hearing the Rabbit agree, Hu Xiaobei glanced afar, "Here’s the plan: I’ll go right, you go left, and we’ll et here in an hour, regardless of what we find, rember?"

"Okay!"

Once the Rabbit agreed, Hu Xiaobei quickly charged to the right.

The Rabbit took a deep breath and rushed to the left.

Both Hu Xiaobei and the Rabbit knew they were incredibly fast, so in an hour, they could explore many areas extensively.

This ant, if after an hour there were still no discoveries, perhaps there wouldn’t be any at all.

...

After Hu Xiaobei and the Treasure-hunting Rabbit disappeared, two cute girls with ponytails appeared here.

"What are they searching for? They wouldn’t be looking for us, would they?"

"Not sure, but I feel they might be!"

After saying this, the two girls looked at each other quickly...

Soon, one of the girls shook her ponytail lightly, whispering, "Do you think we should let them discover us?"

"I think better not, they seem a bit scary."

After being denied, the first cute girl spoke again, "But I find that rabbit very cute, and there’s sothing about the young man with the rabbit that attracts ."

"Sothing attracts you? So you feel this way too? I always thought it was just my illusion!"

Hearing her say it was an illusion, the first cute girl shook her head like a rattle, "It’s definitely not an illusion. I felt it clearly! Let’s engage with them a bit later."

"Since you say so, alright, let’s engage them, but let’s be cautious!"

"Alright!"

Having reached this agreent, they quickly vanished again...
