’Whoa... yeah! That explains why she killed in so many loops...So effortlessly,’ he thought, eyes sliding over the panel popped up by Appraisal.

The flas thinned down as the red aura beca visible from the fire.

’Yeah... of course she’s still alive,’ he mused, as he knew that it wouldn’t be so easy.

He didn’t care about the burly n—they were easy prey. He’d only checked her since she was the tough one.

"Iron Body, Haste..." He layered one boost after another.

A crimson hue spread all over his body.

’I have to save Blue Flas and Firebody for that owner...Tch!’ He clicked his tongue. He couldn’t go all out here; using everything would drain his reserves.

"Fire Slash," he activated the spell as a red magic rune flashed on his tiny palm.

A burning blade—Gzz!—one ter long manifested and dashed toward the woman.

Whoosh!

------

On the other side, the last man rushed through the entrance, crimson aura surrounding his body.

’He’s troubleso...’ Elder Sli thought, as the burly man dashed to the center and—Thud!—fell straight into the spike pit.

-----

The flas vanished as the woman appeared clearly in Sli#47’s vision—completely unhard, shining with the aura, though she was breathing heavily.

’It seems she burned a lot of aura to withstand that...’ he grinned. He had the upper hand now.

Whoosh!—The fire blade was just in front of her body.

"^^^%%!" the woman yelled as she pulled out her sword. The weapon in her hands shone blazing red and—Whoosh!—cut the flaming blade in half. The remaining flas smashed into the ground behind her, scorching the field black and burning the grass.

"Hrrrr..." she growled in fury and dashed forward.

Thud!—The ground in front of her crumbled as she dropped into the pit of spikes.

’That’ll buy two, three seconds or so,’ he thought, turning to check on Elder Sli.

"AHHH!" the burly man yelled, and—Whoosh!—leaped out of the spike pit.

Sli#47 also glanced toward the entrance: the kids were standing there in fear, and the sli farm owner was nowhere in sight.

’Good... he seems to be not around this ti,’ he smiled. That was good news—slightly different from so loops, where the farm owner also appeared along with them.

But he didn’t have much ti as he noticed the sli farm owner woman running out, ’She’ll call that idiot for sure... I don’t have much ti.’

Wob!—He bounced toward the burly man and cast, "Fire Vortex!"

A red circle flared under his tiny palm, and a pillar of fire rose from beneath the burly man—Gzz!—burning violently.

"Mama Sli, Elder Sli!" he yelled, signaling them to attack—because he’d just heard a Whoosh—the woman had jumped out of the trap.

Wob!—He bounced in front of her.

’Injured...?’ He was a little surprised to see scratches on her face. Though none on her body, as she was fully armored except for her head.

In previous loops, even after falling into the trap many tis, she didn’t get a single scratch.

"Y7&&!" she barked as her sword glowed crimson. She slashed the weapon at him.

Whoosh!

A red energy slash dashed toward him.

"Mana Shield!" he cast instantly. ’It’s an aura blade.’

Boom!

Mana Shield and aura blade collided, smoke exploding out—but the shield remained intact.

The smoke filled the area, covering the won and sli#47, which blocked their vision.

Whoosh!

’Looks like she dashed in...’ he thought, hearing Thud!—Thud!from inside the smoke.

"Fire Chain," he cast another spell, aiming toward the entrance through the smoke.

He knew that kids were still there.

A chain of flas manifested, one end in his hand, the other rushing toward the entrance.

"Got you..." He grinned as he felt the chain bind soone—cluk!.

He yanked with full force; the kid ca rushing in, and he caught the brat in his tiny palms.

The kid’s whole body—head to toe was wrapped in flaming chains—even his mouth—so he couldn’t scream.

"6&&^^!" the woman shouted sothing in gibberish at the young sli as a shining blade ca down toward him.

"Heh," he smiled slightly and threw the kid into the descending sword’s path. Fire chains vanished.

Mana Shield stops attacks from the outside, not from the inside—so the kid wasn’t blocked by it. He’d dropped the shield the mont he pulled the brat in and reactivated it.

Whoosh!

Crack!

The blade sliced through the brat’s body like soft fruit—and then: "AHHHHHH!"

The kid’s dying shriek echoed across the field.

Thud!—The sword slipped from the woman’s hand and hit the ground when she heard the scream.

The smoke cleared. Despite it feeling long, the fight had actually happened in just a few seconds.

And Sli#47’s planning had all played out in less than a heartbeat.

-----

"Elder, I want to learn a skill that lets think multiple thoughts faster at the sa ti," Sli#47 had once asked, rembering ani and manga battles where MCs and villains ran multi‑step plans mid‑fight.

"You don’t need that. When your Will increases to G , you can think hundreds of thoughts in under a second," Elder Sli had dismissed. "And when it reaches F-, you gain Parallel Thinking—two thoughts at the sa ti, and as will increases, the faster your mind processes."

------

"Y%%^55!" the woman yelled, tears forming under her eyes as she picked her sword back up with her trembling hands, glancing at the kid’s corpse—cut clean in half, organs spilling onto the grassy field and blood spreading around.

That mont of shock was enough for the young sli to help his fellow slis. He had already—Wob!—bounced onto the burly man, who was still burning. "Acid Fist!"

Whoosh!—

-----

A few seconds earlier—

The burly man was being roasted by the Fire Vortex, but he didn’t even scream, as if the flas didn’t hurt.

Elder Sli, watching him, cast, "Wind Cutter!" with trembling hands; he was close to mana exhaustion.

A dark green magic rune flared on his tiny palm as wind condensed into a cleaving blade—Whoosh!—rushing toward the man.

Gzz!

When the cutter hit the flas, the fire roared higher, growing stronger with the wind.

"Ahhh!" the man finally groaned; he couldn’t hold back anymore.

’A real soldier...,’ Elder Sli thought as his vision dimd. The burly man hadn’t scread earlier despite the pain—holding it in earned old Sli’s quiet praise.

His mana reserves dried up and—Thud!—he collapsed. ’It’s up to you now, child...’ he thought.

"Earth Spike!" Mama Sli cast the spell. Rocks shaped into sharp spikes manifested midair—three of them, half a ter each—and—Whoosh!—rushed toward the man.

Whoosh!—Whoosh!

The spikes clanged uselessly—Tink! Tink!—off the man’s armor and arm guard, which blocked the attack aid at his head as he covered his face with his arms.

The flas around him began to die down—and at that exact mont:

"Acid Fist!"

The young sli’s tiny right fist glowed grey—Gzz!—as he punched at the burly man’s head.

"65^%%!" the man roared, reacting instantly, covering his arms with all his aura, as they shone crimson.
