'What kind of twisted choice is this…?' Giliberu mused.
Taking a deep breath, he said, "It's just a baby, and he won't be my enemy."
"How can you be so sure?" the Goblin Lord asked, folding his hands behind his back.
"I don't know, but even if he becos my enemy, I'll be able to handle him," Giliberu declared, clenching his wrist. "Tier 2 within 5 years. I'll reach that power."
'I'll just hunt stronger creatures…' he thought, narrowing his eyes.
Goblin lord's eyes widened, his voice rising, "Are you sure?"
"Yes," Giliberu replied, his heart speeding up.
The Goblin Lord grinned, patting his son's shoulder. "Rember. Always give priority to your race."
He walked away, still smiling.
'Looks like I made the right choice,' Giliberu mused, scratching his forehead.
'He's happy, but he was gaslighting to kill the baby. What would he have done if I killed the baby?' he wondered.
He then returned to his dwelling.
Ti passed under the Goblin lord's lessons—
Giliberu finally beca 5 years old.
Whoosh! Whoosh!—Giliberu spun the heavy staff in his palm as it shone with the crimson aura.
He glanced at the staff, muttering, "It's no longer a pole, but an actual staff, and an uncommon-level item… taken from adventurers."
The staff was two ters long, grey in color, and with blunt tal edges at the end.
"It's quite heavy." He placed his staff on the sturdy rock nearby.
Thud!
The rock shattered into pieces. "It's a few hundred tons…" he estimated, picking it back up.
"Heavy Strike." He slamd his crimson-glowing staff on the ground, but not even a small scratch ford.

"It has been 5 years since the Trial of Order began," he muttered, sighing. "There's a long way to go. 10 more years until I inherit the title of the Goblin Lord."
He washed himself in the pond and entered the goblin village as snoring sounds echoed.
After entering the hunt with the Goblin Lord, he could finally train openly.
"Laziness," he shook his head. The sun rose to its zenith, but goblins were sleeping, scratching their butts.
'They don't train...' He thought, clicking his tongue. 'Their only work is hunting in the morning.'
"Lust and laziness," he recalled the hurdles goblins have to face to gain the potential of a dragon. "Carnal Impulse… I knew the lust, but laziness… there's no curse, but they voluntarily fall into it."
"Laziness is easy to overco, but the other…" He shook his head.
He entered his dwelling.
He ran the Supre Body Forging Technique, sitting cross-legged.
His body bled from multiple areas as he healed himself with "Demonic Recuperation."
Dark energy flashed from his body, healing his injuries. However, new injuries ford due to the technique.
[ Ding! You leveled up to Level 56! ]
He nodded, stopping the technique.
He then glanced at the shimring notification ssage plainly.
'Elder Sli, Mama Sli…' he missed, as two cute jelly blobs appeared in his mind.
He missed Elder Sli because, despite having crystals, he cannot use them efficiently. 'I should have learnt that magic array.' He sighed.
"Mana Torrent Refinent Technique worked on absorbing mana…" he muttered. "But crystals have so little mana… if they are instead to pull mana from air via array… it would have helped level so much."
"I cannot continue with that technique," he muttered, checking his reserves.
He pulled out mana crystals from the pouch at his waist and used the Mana Torrent Refinent Technique.
A few hours later—
He healed himself with "Aura Recovery!" while taking a bath in the pond.
'No wonder goblins stink,' he clicked his tongue, recalling how he was mocked by fellow older goblins for taking a bath.
He glanced at his reflection in the pond. "I have remained the sa height," he muttered.
A green grotesque face with pointed ears and a body similar to a ten-year-old human kid flashed in the water.
The only difference from his three-year-old self was his face, which had golden scars on both sides of his forehead.
'It's due to evolution,' he muttered, rubbing golden scars, which improved his presence.
"Status." He opened his status.

"Not bad." He nodded, glancing over his status. "If I still had Elder Sli's help, I would have already hit Tier 3."
After getting dressed in a red tunic shirt, grey innerwear, and yellow trousers, he walked to his dwelling.
"I luckily t an adventurer who had kids," he muttered, recalling taking out sets of clothes for kids from that adventurer's magic pouch.
"I wonder what he is doing??" he wondered.
He'd let him go when that adventurer begged him with his kids.
"He sure had adorable kids," he muttered, recalling the chubby twin kid photo shown by the adventurer.
He then sighed. "Not all are so lucky…"
He'd left that adventurer alive since he was alone when he spotted him.
When he had been with other goblins, he'd kill everyone.
"But I use clones many tis to sense adventurers and warn them to run," he muttered.
Two years back—
"Detection." Giliberu cast, as a blue magic rune flared on his palm.
"Multi Phantom." He cast, as a clone ford beside him, silently hiding below the main body.
"Did you find anything?" a goblin with a hunched back asked.
"No…" Giliberu shook his head.
anwhile, his clone rushed out and t a few adventurers within a few kiloters.
"Run… or die." His clone declared, as his aura flared.
So adventurers challenged him and died.
So ran.
Back to the present.
'Luckily, Goblin Lord stopped coming with after teaching spying spells.' Giliberu mused, grinning as he entered his house.
He threw the staff to the side, using the aura to guide it. After all, it's too heavy.
Then he leapt onto the bed, snoring right away.
The moon rose to its peak. White moonlight illuminated the wall.
Giliberu was sleeping soundly.
Suddenly, he snapped open his eyes as his heart raced, almost seeming to break out of his chest.
[ Ding! The Carnal Impulse took effect! ]
He sat up straight and glanced down at his body.
His body was flared with the pink aura as lustful thoughts started to enter his mind.
Images of beautiful won flashed through his mind.
Despite his resistance, a flood of explicit mories surged through his mind.
A firm bulge ford beneath his trousers.
