"King's Mark?" Sli#47 tilted his head, puzzled.

Thomas replied, "How strong do you think a Tier Four being is?"

Young Sli wondered, recalling his own speed. 'Even at Tier Two, I could travel multiple tis the speed of sound.'

He then rembered his fight with three sealed artifacts. 'I could destroy an area of a few hundred ters.'

He muttered, "With each stat increase, there would be at least a tenfold difference."

After thinking, he replied, "A Tier Four being should be very strong… capable of destroying continents?"

"Not just strong—incredibly strong," Thomas corrected. "A Tier Four being can destroy the Divinara planet."

"What?" Sli#47 exclaid, mouth wide.

"Yes, you heard it right," the instructor said plainly, hands behind his back. "A peak Tier Four being can easily destroy our planet into pieces."

He added, after a pause, "And this is the reason why the Voice of the World doesn't allow beings to easily evolve into Tier Four and above."

"Restrictions…" Young Sli's eyes twitched. He'd felt he should just level up and get stronger, but now he was t with obstacles.

The lion-headed instructor glanced at Sli#47's expression and said, "You do not need to worry. Those are very easy objectives to overco."

He clarified, patting the young sli's shoulder, "To evolve into Tier Four, one needs: True Magic Mastery Tier Four, Mana Mastery Tier Four, and Aura Mastery Tier Four."1

'Reaching Tier Four mastery in all three energies is the condition,' Sli#47 mused, feeling troubled. 'It's not easy to tier up masteries.'

"It's a hard lock to prevent powerhouses rising like ants," Thomas implied.

"Why…?" Young Sli wanted to ask, but stopped himself. It felt like a silly question.

He recalled how smoke had emitted when he'd punched the fence with Acid Fist, and how Fireball created smoke when it collided with Waterball or an object.

He grinned a little, rembering—after all, the smoke had helped him a little.

And after gaining mastery tier 1 in energies, his control and efficiency increased, and he stopped creating smoke.

This was why mastery Tier Four was required. If two Tier Four beings collide, won't they destroy their planet?

'With control over their strength… they can suppress shockwaves and spells—fighting like normal people to onlookers, while unleashing overwhelming force on opponents,' He understood and felt it was a very correct decision by the Voice of the World.

After all, he didn't want to turn into dust due to the shockwaves of two Tier Four beings fighting—or even higher beings fighting.

Spotting the realization in the young sli's eyes, Thomas nodded. "Looks like you figured out the reason."

The next mont, Sli#47 asked, "Isn't it tough to get masteries to Tier Four?"

Nobi answered instead of Thomas, with a question, "Didn't you get any traits from elders? Or did not even the Demon King in your ti give you one to help with mastery training?"

She sounded doubtful, since Demon Kings and demon instructors would help every demon in mastery training.

Thomas also nodded doubtfully. "Yes, it's true that everyone won't get a trait, but you have extraordinary talent in combat instincts… You should have gotten a trait personally from the Demon King."

'So that's how it is—traits are passed down by the Demon King to talented demons.' Sli#47 understood, realizing how masteries in the demon race are truly trained.

He glanced bitterly at the doubtful duo, then replied with a sigh, "We don't have Demon Kings anymore in my ti."

"What?" both exclaid in disbelief.

'After all, it would be a heavy shock to them…' he mused. 'Like telling a billionaire he'd lose everything in a few minutes—it would be an utter shock.'

Nobi asked, taking a few steps forward in disbelief, "How? What—"

She was cut off as Thomas said, "Knowing the future is not good."

There were a few monts of silence.

Young Sli glanced at the blank lion and asked, "Is King's Mark one of the conditions to beco Tier Five, along with Tier Five masteries?"

"Yes," Thomas replied. "To beco Tier Five, even more conditions must be fulfilled, since a Tier Five being can destroy dinsions—"

He paused, then added, "Just getting Tier Five masteries isn't enough. They must get King's Mark."

"What is King's Mark?" Young Sli asked without wasting ti.

"No ti… let's explain that later…" Thomas said, dismissing the topic.

Sli#47 was disappointed as the lion-headed instructor said coldly, "Let's start training."

Nobi shook as she glanced for help.

----

After a few hours…

"You got it?" Thomas asked, sitting on an ornate pillow chair, he pulled from thin air.

He had explained the thod of the new technique—how to circulate energy within the body to increase stats.

"Yes…" Young Sli replied as he glanced at the notification in his vision.

[ Ding! You have acquired Supre Body Forging Technique {Mythic}! ]

[ —Skills—

—Supre Body Forging Technique {Mythic} Lv.1—

—Proficiency: 1/100

—A technique created by ancient Demon Kings.

—It uses all kinds of energy present in the body—even including True Magic—to temper the body and increase the level.

—It can be used anyti, during any activity. The more pressure the body suffers while using this technique, the stronger the body gets, thereby raising the level.

—It can raise all stats of the body, even the Will stat.

—It is a technique that grants a superior boost in training stats.

—Note: The user must stay conscious while using it. It causes a lot of pain and heavy injuries! ]

'Incredible… to think Thomas would pass down a mythic technique so casually.' Young Sli mused.

After all, he knew how strict clans and houses were with their top skills in all the novels he'd read.

Cultivation MCs would destroy families for just a powerful technique.

Hence, he was a little surprised.

Young Sli grinned. "Traveling to the past is paying off."

Thomas nodded, while Nobi swallowed hard as she tried running the technique.

The instructor stood with his hands behind his back. "Good. It's the strongest and fastest technique for rising level in a short ti. But it's very painful."

He added, "And you don't have much ti… so you have to use it anyway."

Young Sli nodded.

The instructor turned to Nobi, his gaze sharp. "Lilly is stronger than you. Since you wanted to challenge her, you'll have to proceed with this training as well."

Nobi clenched her hands, rembering her loss at the wooden beauty's hands.

"Lilly… is it her?" Young Sli mused, recalling the lady who was interested in him.

Thomas clapped his hands, "Within ten days, I'll make sure you reach Level 101—with a newly evolved class and race."

'Yes… I'll have to complete it to get King's mark. I got only 23 days left.' Young Sli mused, ready for training.

Here, Thomas said the true magic mastery, but he'd ant only one elent...Since one person can only wield one elental true magic.
