Chapter 125 — Entering the Trial of Demon King’s Heir Yet Again
[ Ding! You have acquired Soul Mantle (Common ) Lv.1! ]
Sli#47 dismissed the notification.
He spent an entire day strengthening the barrier, then ford another barrier over it.
[ Ding! Soul Mantle (Common ) has evolved into Double Soul Mantle (Uncommon )! ]
For the next three days, he did the sa thing, except for eating and drinking.
"It’s too annoying," he muttered, rembering the potions Professor Seralyth had given.
"I need to find potions like that. They’re too helpful."
He nodded in satisfaction as he inspected the five barriers surrounding his soul.
But his grin vanished when he noticed a fraction of soul essence still leaking out.
"Unless the will barrier recovers, it will stay the sa." He clenched his fists. "I need to get stronger and heal those injuries."
[ Ding! Your skill Soul Mantle (Rare ) Lv.4 has leveled up to Lv.Max! ]
"So for Rare, there are five barriers. For Uncommon... two. And for Common... one," he muttered, finally understanding the pattern.
"And with levels, the barrier gets stronger each ti. At Lv.Max, it reaches peak sturdiness."
"However, when the skill evolves, it’s not just stacking barriers—the barrier’s structure evolves too. It becos thicker and sturdier."
He then rembered the jump from Common to Uncommon.
"It wasn’t just another layer. The first barrier beca denser, matching the second barrier."
"If it’s only stacking, even one hundred Common stacks could never compete with a Rare skill," he said plainly.
’I need to get going,’ he decided, returning to his bodily senses.
"My soul finally adapted," he muttered. The stinging pain that ca once in a while had finally subsided.
Not that he couldn’t endure it—but it could ruin him in a fight.
"Status," he said, checking himself.

"True Language Creator carried over," he muttered, eyeing the shimring panel. "And what’s this—Adamant Soul?"
He clearly rembered having Indomitable Soul before.
He clicked it and opened the traits panel.

"It seems this trait evolved..." Sli#47 muttered, scanning the panel.
’Maybe I got it when I t my future self,’ he thought.
He had spent only four days on Soul Mantle because he didn’t want to miss the butterfly effect he had created in the previous loop.
He wanted to repeat the sa path.
Then he began leveling again with the Mana Torrent Refinent Technique.
Unlike the previous loop.
He took it slow because he could explode if he took in more mana. He didn’t want to die anymore—not after learning each loop was a real world.
He reached Level 89, just like in the previous loop.
----
Eternal Mastery devoured the wisp of faith before his eyes.
’After knowing it’s the real world... I’m satisfied with my choice to help the kids and kill the guards,’ he thought with a slight grin, recalling Victoria.
----
Things went similarly to the previous loop, with the Dancing Lightning party changing so mbers.
A young man held a staff.
Sli#47 smashed his head, killing him.
Then he slaughtered the rest of the party.
He stared at the bodies, then at the sealed-artifact staff.
"I need to be careful," he muttered. "Since Vael is sealed, I can take these sealed artifacts for myself—or rather, destroy them."
He picked up the pouches from the dead bodies.
----
Ruins City Lunixa...
"Demonic Fist!"
Sli#47 smashed the spider’s head, and Thud!—it collapsed to the ground.
He picked up the three artifacts and looked around.
"...Vael is sealed," he muttered, unable to stop his nervousness. He felt like the sealed artifacts might disappear any second.
Wob!
He bounced back to Elder Sli in the fortress and asked sharply, "Is there any thod to destroy these sealed artifacts?"
Old Sli glanced at the artifacts in his hands and replied, "No. You need to be at least a god to destroy them."
Sli#47 fell silent.
’If I can’t destroy them, I’ll hide them,’ he decided firmly.
After experiencing everything, he felt no one should ever use these sealed artifacts.
He was furious at their creator.
"They cannot be found..." he muttered. "It would be better to die without using these things as a last hope."
He scowled, "Living by relying on these things is a nightmare."
Elder Sli quickly inscribed the array. They teleported one by one using the crystals.
Whoosh!
Boom!
"Demonic Pulse!" Young Sli cast as a beam of demonic force collided with a purple beam.
"He found us..." Sli#47 muttered, glancing at the young purple lad in the sky.
He was slightly late because of acquiring Soul Mantle and a few other preparations.
Like in the second last loop, he jumped into the array after everyone teleported.
----
Demon King’s Castle...
Young Sli sat on top of a magic array, closing his eyes as a torrent of mana flooded out of his body.
He felt himself floating for a few monts—then landed.
He opened his eyes and found himself in an open forest field.
A large shadow stood in front of him.
The shadow’s red eyes glowed as it stared at him, "Your trial will begin now."
Sli#47 checked his status and thought quickly.
’Since I already learned all the languages... I won’t need to be locked in Seralyth’s classroom.’
"I should et powerhouses, since I’ll get three months." He grinned faintly.
’If I get a portion of Seralyth’s power like last ti... it will be great.’
"Your trial—" the shadow began.
End of the Chapter...
