The pile of junk in Chen Fei's eyes visibly shrank at a speed visible to the naked eye.
He finally harvested 743 Energy Points.
For these 743 tons of antique junk, his hands had beco so foul they were almost unusable!
What a headache!
"Huh! There's still quite a bit left, huh?"
A tallic Elental Psychic Power User nad Kiterley noticed that the mountainous pile of various items had finally dwindled to a small pile, and surmised that the remaining items were non-tallic substances. He kicked them around a few tis.
A crystal-clear texture refracted an unusual brilliance from the filth.
He couldn't help but wonder aloud, "Is it crystals again? Hey, kid, there's more good stuff!"
Then he looked at Chen Fei, figuring the young man would probably be interested.
During the previous assessnt point of Team 04, the interior of the Lava Cave in the Dead Volcano was filled with fluorescent crystals of various sizes.
At the end of the assessnt, as the team left, Chen Fei alone pried away at least ten tons of large crystal clusters, using readily available material boxes for loading, and stored them all in Adrian's Space Series Alchemy Storage Magic Artifact.
Speaking of which, those fluorescent crystals were indeed rare items.
Two hours of sunlight could make them glow for six hours.
The mbers of Team 04 hadn't hesitated to pick out intact crystal clusters to use as their desk lamps, basking them in sunlight for a day and then, like small light bulbs, they emitted light all night long and even produced effects like colored lights, making them especially suitable for placing in personal rooms to decorate the ambiance.
"Stinky treasures, huh?"
Chen Fei glanced sideways at his tal Elental Psychic Power senior. Why didn't the other guy take these stinky tals and refine them into Special Ability Armor for himself?!
The tallic materials used for military purposes were mostly quality goods!
What, taking care of your little brother, but you actually think it slls, huh?!
"Hey, isn't it the sa once washed? What if it's really valuable! Whoever finds it keeps it!"
Although he said this, Kiterley was not moved at all.
This guy who said one thing and did another!
"Don't let it be so glass!"
Chen Fei bent down, picked up the object that was flickering with a crystalline sheen, and swung it in his hand.
If it really was glass, he'd hurl it right into his senior's face to teach him a lesson!
A cubic object about 10 centiters in size, with sharp edges and corners, a surface like a mirror, without a hint of dirt or blemish, and completely transparent, it appeared like a flawless crystal.
"What is this? An ornant?"
A tallic Elental Psychic Power User nad Kiterley twirled his chin, examining it from all angles.
Indeed, there were many souvenirs from the battlefield, even including jewelry. With enough luck, one might even find a Magic Artifact.
"Heh, a Crystalline Block!"
It was unknown from which war machine this had co, but it ended up among this pile of junk.
Crystal Energy Technology appeared in the late stages of the "Three Realms Unification War." As soon as it erged, its energy storage density utterly surpassed any chemical battery, instantly replacing them as the most dazzling star in the high-end energy storage field.
Even today, the energy storage density of Crystalline Blocks continues to increase, gradually transitioning from military to civilian use, mainly applied in the public sector of society.
This patented technology and manufacturing thod were completely monopolized by Dragoon Magic Motion Industry. Since material channels were controlled, even if others knew how to manufacture Crystalline Blocks, they still couldn't produce them in volu.
"This is... a Crystalline Block?"
Kiterley's expression gradually beca stupefied... he really wanted to gouge his eyes out!
Just a casual comnt he made, and it turned out to be a real treasure!
War machines that could use Crystalline Blocks during that great war thirty years ago were definitely considered premium goods.
This large Crystalline Block was probably worth a fortune,
"There's still 37% energy reserve left. Hit the jackpot, what a treasure!"
If it hadn't been for the "Light/Electric/Magnetic/Crystal Energy Universal Converter and Managent Component" being activated by the cube he had just picked up, with the Dog System automatically inquiring, Chen Fei might not have known the true identity of this object.
Since Crystal Energy cannot be directly utilized and must be converted to Electric Energy, the remaining energy inside this thirty-year-old Crystalline Block had not been lost in the slightest.
Although in today's military field, the energy density and capacity of such a Crystalline Block from over thirty years ago no longer ranked in the high-end, in the civilian sector, it was still decidedly top-tier.
That the military is advanced by thirty to fifty years compared to the civilian applications is not a strange thing.
A 10-centiter cube Crystalline Block, when at 100% energy storage, could allow Chen Fei's Mobile Base Vehicle to operate at full power for 72 hours.
"Really damn..."
The A-level tal Elental Psychic Power User who couldn't recognize a Crystalline Block scoffed.
Actually, whether he found it, or Chen Fei found it, or soone else did, in the end, it would still be Chen Fei's.
The lack of Crystalline Blocks in the Mobile Base Vehicle affecting its endurance state was well-known within Team 04, but individual mbers couldn't get a Crystalline Block. The Blue Star Global United Defense Committee wouldn't loosen up in this regard, perhaps thinking that the second-hand chemical batteries salvaged from the garbage were sufficient and there was no need for such high-end Crystalline Blocks. Considering other teams didn't even have a vehicle and had to rely on foot, why be too demanding?
The "Bear Hunting Special Operations Division's" twenty teams, only Team 04 possessed a Mobile Base Vehicle which had beds, soft seats, air conditioning, hot water, power supply, and even a Railgun capable of firing large-caliber Demolition Bombs—it was like a trip you could just take off on.
That starting point was already quite an advantage, and to avoid rebellion from other teams, the Global United Defense Committee couldn't possibly offer any further support.
"There's another bomb!"
Chen Fei walked to the depths of the residual materials in the garbage pile and scraped away the filthy substances, revealing a large cylindrical object with a conical end.
The dark green paint was still intact with white letters sprayed on top.
"BLU-82!"
"Adam" recognized it by the label, as its database happened to contain this weapon model.
asuring 3.4 ters long, 1.7 ters in diater, and weighing about 6.8 tons, this massive bomb was deployed using a C-130 transport aircraft and was particularly suited for the climate of the Ocean Continent.
"Wow, what a huge bomb!"
At the sight of the cylindrical body with its cone-shaped head, Kiterley guessed the truth imdiately.
"A vacuum bomb! Hmm! And it still works!"
When Chen Fei touched this behemoth, he knew this relic from half a century ago wasn't damaged, except that the fuze component was deford, making it unable to initiate the detonation process.
Using his tal shaping ability, he fixed the fuze right away and even added a safety pin.
An A-grade tal Ability User, Kiterley speculated doubtfully, "A vacuum bomb? What kind of bomb, a cloud bomb?"
"Bingo! Exactly!" Chen Fei snapped his fingers and continued, "The whole thing weighs 6.8 tons. Once it explodes, nobody here would have a chance to survive!"
This power, it could probably only be compared with the Dragon Slayer Missile, right?
"That's, that's exaggerated!"
An A-grade tal Ability User, Kiterley took several scared steps backward.
Where did this ruthless thing co from?
No way, he must alert everyone. There might be more of the sa stuff nearby, and we certainly don't want any accidents to bury us all here.
Thinking this, Kiterley broke into a run.
"Everyone, everyone, do not touch anything here carelessly. We've just found a tactical weapon!"
Kiterley quickly notified everyone on teams 04 and 18.
"Damn, I said this place wasn't simple, and there's tactical weaponry?"
"You scared half to death; I almost made a mistake."
"How co there are tactical weapons?"
"The Supre Council of the Third Era Civilization, the land of the final battle, wouldn't it be normal to have so powerful weapons left over?"
Sure enough, not only Kiterley and Chen Fei, but others also wanted to hunt for treasure here. Holding rod-like objects and curiously poking around, when they heard about the explosives, they were startled and quickly threw away what they were holding.
If soone accidentally triggered a fuze or landmine, they could indeed end up risking everyone's lives.
Nobody was ready to die yet!
"Everyone, gather around!"
Adrian and Captain Moron of team 18 consulted briefly and imdiately gathered everyone.
The two teams ford a large circle with the captains enclosed in the center.
"Bassan, do you know where exactly we are?"
As a mber of team 04, Adrian turned to the recently emotionally stabilized Neanderthal Chief, a known sacred site for Neanderthals. Maybe the other could provide so useful clues.
"Sorry, I was only 12 when the Supre Council was breached. I hardly knew anything!"
Bassan shook his head, speaking frankly.
A 12-year-old boy would know what? Back then, he wasn't even the chief!
Even as the new chief elected by his people, his role was more symbolic than practical. After all, he was just a mascot and didn't necessarily know more than the other tribal mbers.
"Anyway, since we are in the great desert, maybe it's buried under the sand."
The A-grade Psychic Ability User and Puppet Master, Joseph, spread his hands and shrugged.
Team 18 imdiately agreed with the Puppet Master's conjecture.
"It must be beneath the sand. The mutant that led us here specializes in burrowing through the sand. And I just checked; where there should be windows, no sunlight is coming in. It's all sand outside, as if sothing solidified it."
"At least there's air here, but before that big guy cos back, we must get out of here."
Moron's words imdiately had everyone nodding in agreent.
The air here was terrible, like a giant dung pit. If not for the breathing filters, it could have suffocated everyone.
"So, which way should we go?"
Just a mont ago, instead of exploring the "treasures" here with others, Adrian had wandered around the Supre Council's main hall and discovered several openings.
The larger openings were about thirty ters in diater, and the smaller ones were only big enough for a person to crawl through; it was just unknown where these openings led.
One of the Wind-type Ability Users from team 18 raised his hand and shouted, "Obviously, we should head towards where there's ventilation!"
The thod was simple: releasing so smoke would show which way the air was flowing.
Wherever the air flowed, there would be the exit.
"Before we leave, couldn't we leave that big guy a little souvenir? Right, Little Chen?"
Behind his breathing filter, A-grade tal Ability User, Kiterley, smirked wickedly.
