The speaker was a mber of team 18.

Team 18's leader, Moron, frowned and said, "Ew? It stinks to death outside, who would go out! Haken, you must be seeing things!"

Who would be so desperate?

He felt that if he slled it any longer, he might faint from the stench, which was nearly indistinguishable from that of biochemical weapons.

Mouri Misono raised her right hand high and exclaid, "I also thought I saw soone!"

Who was that?

The leaders of team 18, Moron, and team 04, Andrea, looked at each other.

Simultaneously and unanimously, they spoke.

"Roll call!"

Moron was responsible for his own team 18, while Andrea called out for team 04.

"Mouri Misono!"

"Hi! I'm here!"

"Susanna Jean Piault!"

"I...am here!"

"Chen Fei, um, there you are!"

"Oh!"

"Apu!"

"I'm here, Captain!"

"Walter Sam!"

"Present, Mini is here too!"

"Got it!"

"Bassan! Um? Speak up, Bassan, I didn't hear you!"

The roll call of team 04 abruptly stopped as Adrian Benjamin, a First Rank fire mage, surveyed his team mbers.

Almost everyone was present, except for the shy and reticent giant Neanderthal Chief.

"Adrian, I've got everyone here, no one's missing. How is it on your side…"

Two mbers were missing from team 18, obvious at a glance. When Moron turned back, he noticed sothing was off with the atmosphere in team 04.

"I, I'm missing soone!"

Adrian's expression looked grim.

Because the missing mber also held another identity, the current Chief of the Neanderthal tribe.

Even though the Third Era Civilization had substantively and utterly perished, the Neanderthal tribe was still extant, enjoying the fundantal human rights of the current civilization. If Bassan had rely been a casualty in a fight with mutants, it would have been one thing, but if he had taken any inappropriate actions, it might trouble the sensitivities of the big shots.

Moron asked urgently, "Who's missing?"

Mysteriously losing soone was certainly not good.

"Bassan! He's gone!" Adrian quickly turned to Chen Fei among the mbers of team 04 and urged, "Chen Fei, open the door right now!"

As for whether it stank outside, he no longer cared; the most important thing right now was to find the Chief.

Bring back the person alive, or the body if dead!!!

Click!

The previously shut door reopened.

"Xiao Jiu, throw a few Illumination Techniques out there."

Chen Fei waved at Little Bird, which was enveloped in a ball of white light.

No matter how bright the lights of the mobile base vehicle were, they could only illuminate a certain range; beyond that, they were utterly useless.

"Jiu! Jiu! Jiu!"

Little Bird cocked its head, light gathering in front of its sharp beak. A basketball-sized orb of light ford quickly, lightly floating out of the carriage, rising higher and higher, its light becoming brighter, akin to a small sun hanging in mid-air.

Then another ford.

Three or four high-intensity, basketball-sized enhanced Illumination Technique orbs ascended one after another, finally illuminating the surrounding environnt. The entire space resembled a huge indoor basketball court, with the do's highest point nearly a hundred ters from the ground.

Wearing respiratory filters, the group erged one by one from the mobile base vehicle. They didn't exert much effort before finding the missing Neanderthal Chief, Bassan.

He hadn't even run far, standing just about a dozen ters away. He didn't bring his single-toothed long halberd, looking utterly dispirited, standing still and staring upward at sothing.

"Bassan, why did you run out? We've been looking for you. Uh, what are you looking at?"

Finally having found him, Adrian, who had been on edge, breathed a sigh of relief and approached Bassan, following his gaze.

There stood a high platform with a flag hanging, tattered and filthy.

This place seed to be a site forgotten for who knows how many years, deeply buried in the heart of the Central Great Desert of the Yangzhou Continent.

"Starry Red Fla Flag..."

Bassan seed to mutter to himself, unwilling to shift his gaze from the massive and tattered flag.

"Eh? Starry Red Fla Flag? Do you know where this is?"

Adrian always felt as if he had heard this na sowhere before.

"Yes! Here, this is the Supre Council, Emosir, War, Kro, Hantelei..." the Neanderthal Clan Leader, Bassan, spoke as he turned, looking at the slightly lower platform that he referred to as the Starry Red Fla Flag, its surfaces hung with so tattered pieces of cloth, so of which no longer showed any discernible patterns or even colors, so completely devoid of fabric, revealing only walls riddled with bullet holes and cracks.

"... Manberia, Xiulun, Autumn, Boyi, Ennan, Anbulai, Mo'an, Pandorong, the Twelve Overlord Tribes!"

This was the holy site of the Neanderthal tribe, the ruins of the Supre Council!

He could almost see how more than thirty years ago, the joint forces of the Blue Star Civilization and the Cangqiong Star Civilization had breached the Supre Council. The fierce Dragon Knights and Giant Dragons had destroyed all resistance, slaughtering the elites of the Twelve Overlord Tribes, and after a thousand years of coveting the Blue Star, the Neanderthals had lost their last vital energy and could no longer rise to prominence.

Bassan's role as clan leader was rely nominal, and even he probably did not know how many Neanderthals were willing to acknowledge it, nor did he have much confidence in it.

"The Supre Council, the Twelve Overlord Tribes, wow, hiss..."

The keywords linked together, finally awakening Adrian's mory—it was content from his childhood textbooks.

The more he thought about it, the more alard he beca. His face inevitably changed greatly as he widened his eyes and stepped back, pointing at Bassan, and stuttered, "Bassan, you, you better not ss around! So things, you shouldn't even think about doing, let alone think! Stay calm, be rational, Bassan, think about your tribesn, you mustn't harm them!"

"Heh, hahaha!"

The Neanderthal Clan Leader suddenly started laughing inexplicably, returning his gaze from afar, he turned to look at Adrian, wiped away tears, and forced out a tearful smile, saying, "Don't worry, Adrian, I won't do anything foolish. You're right, not just for , but for my clanspeople as well. The Supre Council and the Twelve Overlord Tribes are already things of the past, let them pass."

It was rare for the typically reticent Neanderthal chieftain to say so much.

The ruins of the Supre Council were now the final mory of the Neanderthal tribe. The torrent of history, like wheels, rolled on and never looked back.

Let the past remain in the past. The surviving Neanderthals still had to continue living, integrating into the Blue Star and mingling with the descendants of Homo Sapiens without any separation.

"It's truly great that you think this way!"

Adrian wiped his face, not with tears, but cold sweat, his voice shaking uncontrollably.

If the other had suddenly beco irrational, shouting loudly and raising a rebellion, then perhaps the one to execute them might have been himself, the captain.

Killing his own people by hand, such an act was truly not for the human-hearted.

"Is this the Supre Council? The Supre Council of the Third Era Civilization?"

Hearing Adrian's and the Neanderthal Clan Leader's conversation, Captain Moron of Team 18 was flabbergasted, repeatedly turning around, surveying the entire space illuminated by the mobile base vehicle lights and the Illumination Technique Light Orbs.

"Holy shit, the land of the final battle!"

"Phone, co on!"

"Absolutely! Take a picture for ; let hold my breath and take off the breathing filter first!"

...

The flashlights clicked incessantly as many started striking poses.

No one knew who started it, but the solemn and somber atmosphere of the site changed unexpectedly, and the ruins of the Supre Council of the Third Era Civilization suddenly turned into a tourist spot.

Neanderthal Chief Bassan: "..."

Captain Adrian of Team 04: "..."

This developnt was completely unexpected for both of them. Perhaps one of the things said was correct, let bygones be bygones.

None of the mbers from Team 18 and Team 04 had experienced the Great War of the Three Realms; at least half of them were born after the war had ended and naturally could not understand how fierce the Neanderthal tribe had been at that ti.

The allied forces of Blue Star and Cangqiong Star had exhausted all their strength to finally dissipate the thousand-year preparations of the Third Era Civilization, turning Blue Star, the main battlefield, into nearly a paradise for mutants due to the war's lingering effects.

Ti and circumstances had changed; the Neanderthal tribe had completely integrated into Blue Star, unable to stir any ripples anymore. More and more mixed-race children were born, making it truly impossible to differentiate "us" from "them" as worldviews, values, and outlooks on life gradually converged.

The descendants of Homo Sapiens no longer viewed the descendants of the previous civilization, who had tried to take over their holand, with hostility.

"Chen Fei, co over and look, there's treasure here!"

Seemingly attracted by sothing, A-grade tal Ability User Kiterley ran alone to the corner of the Supre Council's ruins hall, enduring disgust and filth to rummage around before turning back to call his fellow sect younger brother.

There, all sorts of miscellaneous items were piled up, including creations from humans, both from Blue Star and the Neanderthals.

But the patchy and broken exteriors seed to tell the tales of ti, as well as the fierce battles fought between both sides until they were utterly relentless.

"What's the treasure, is it valuable?"

Chen Fei rushed over to the scene, but what he saw was just a pile of junk.

Alright, the shattered remains of combat mobility armor might qualify as treasures, including models that were humanoid, beast-shaped, and insect-shaped, all completely destroyed beyond recognition. Aside from recycling, there was no viable value left to extract.

One could also find tanks, armored vehicles, remnants of fighter jets, firearms— even Third Era Civilization's "Camru" and "Kezige" interceptor jets were there, all equally broken and beyond repair, truly only describable as "junk."

Beyond these, there were only a small amount of old cold weapons and various indescribable gadgets left.

It was simply a heap of garbage.

"Two hundred tons of tal, do you see any?"

A-grade tal Ability User Kiterley never let down his guard.

"Two hundred tons, oh, I'll try!"

Chen Fei, suppressing his disgust, reached out to touch those equally foul-slling pieces of junk.
