155 Ready to Die.

Trapped inside the ice wall was a blonde-haired beauty with closed eyes and a pale complexion.

She couldn't hear or make sense of what was happening outside the ice wall, but her mana perception caught signs of her Ice elents being thawed continuously.

'I can't hold much longer. The enemy guild's mbers will soon break apart my spell....', Elsa thought with sadness.

Their side only had 3 Rank 3 fighters including her, while there were about 7 Rank 3 fighters in the enemy guild's group. This led to a huge disadvantage for them, not taking into account the more than 20 Rank 2 and 1 fighters.

'Is there nothing I can do? I was supposed to be the genius of the Twilight Chaos guild and here I am, being unable to do anything to protect my companions.', her mood beca downcasted as she felt helpless.

A few more minutes passed, and when she felt that the enemies were a few inches of ice from reaching her, Elsa manipulated the ice around her as her body moved backwards inside the ice wall like she was swimming in water.

"Shit! She's retreating!"

"Don't stop! Keep destroying the ice, they don't have anywhere to run!"

The enemies shouted as they were just about to capture her.

Elsa's cold and soft body erged from the ice wall, falling onto the ground as the mbers of the two guilds gathered around her.

"Elsa! Drink this potion. You've exhausted all your mana!", one of them handed an expensive potion without hesitation.

What she had done now was very dangerous and risky, but it had given them a dozen minutes to rest and gain back their fighting power, raising their respect for her.

Drinking the mana potion, Elsa took a few seconds to catch her breath as she eyed around with a determined expression.

"Everyone. We have no choice but to face our enemies now.....So, get ready with your spells and weapons. We won't fall so easily."

Her words burned a fire inside them as they clenched their fists.

They weren't a part of the last group for nothing, it was because they were the most capable guild mbers in the two guilds that they were tasked with such an important task.

Suddenly, they could hear the sounds of explosions as the tunnel seed to tremble a little, the ice wall slowly starting to crumble away before their eyes.

Standing up as she patted her clothes, Elsa thought for a mont before smiling at her companions.

"It was good to et you all. Our journey was short, but I enjoyed the monts we spent fighting together."

The eleven people in her group all had sad smiles on their faces as they nodded at each other, their thoughts aligning as they regarded each other as comrades in battles.

"I know we won't be able to make out of this alive, so...", Elsa narrowed her eyes which had a sharp gleam.

".....we must take down as many enemies as we can. Don't put down your body even if it's filled with holes and injuries. Kill them till your last breath!"

"Yess!! Kill them all!!"

"Take them down!! We're going to die anyway!"

"I won't die unless I kill at least 5 of them!!"

A thick bloodlust atmosphere filled the broken tunnel as everyone raised their weapons and roared out loud.

Elsa grinned cruelly as she felt her blood rush to her head, filling her up with a thirst for desperate carnage.

"Kill them all!! Make them regret facing us!!"

As she shouted with all her might, uncaring of her dishevelled appearance, a sudden breeze from above their heads tickled her neck.

The other mbers noticed the sa as everyone raised their heads to see a huge hole forming above their figures, linking their broken tunnel to another tunnel on a higher level.

"What-!"

A few heads peeked out from the upper part of the hole, their expressions starkly similar to the people below as they stared wide-eyed at the hole.

Elsa's face was a mixture of confusion and shock, her heart stopping for a mont in the heat of the upcoming battle.

Suddenly, the heads from the upper tunnel moved as a few figures jumped down onto the lower tunnel, alerting Elsa and the others.

But when they saw the appearances of the newcors, a delightful expression surfaced on their faces.

"It's Victor and his team!"

"That's Evan, the Rank 3 Archer!"

"They're from our guilds! They sent them as reinforcents!"

The trapped guildmates forgot their shock from the sudden hole and were overjoyed at seeing their other comrades arriving to help them, which ant they had a chance to walk out of this alive now.

Elsa had a large smile on her face as she wobbled her way towards Victor, who took a keen glance around them and nodded at his acquaintances.

"You're right on ti, Victor. We would've been dead if you were a few minutes late.", she muttered while pointing at the crumbling ice wall.

"The people from the enemy guilds are right past that wall, about 30 of them. With 7 at Rank 3, they'll reach here at any second now."

Taking a deep glance at the ice wall, Victor gripped tightly onto his sword. His eyes flashed with a dangerous light as he turned to look at every one.

"Alright then. I know you guys were going to rush at them and fight till you die, but the plan changes now."

Everyone stood at attention as they listened to him give out orders on their strategy.

"The enemies are unaware of our increase in numbers and we'll use that to our advantage. The ice wall is very wide, so we will hide in the corners while all of you take cover at the end of the broken tunnel."

Seeing everyone nodding, Victor continued as he calculated in his mind.

"Also, they won't be able to completely break apart the wall, so they'll most probably enter one after the other. This is where Felix cos in."

"Wait- Felix? What do you an?", Elsa exclaid as she stared around in confusion.

Victor spun his body in the middle of everyone as he rolled his eyes towards all the corners of the tunnel, his voice echoing out loud.

"What?! Where the hell is Felix!?"

Evan was the sa as he moved about the place to find the boy, but there was not a hint of the silver-haired boy who would be rather conspicuous with his appearance.

"Hmm? There's no way we left him back on the upper tunnel, right?", Evan chuckled awkwardly as he rubbed his head.

Victor wasn't in a mood to laugh as his plans were just destroyed because of the absence of the extraordinary boy, who had tricky skills that could help them.

He walked to the hole and raised his head to shout out loud.

"Hey Felix! Are you there!? Co down, we need you here!", although it didn't feel good to ask help from a Rank 1 while being at the Rank 3, Victor wasn't soone with a baseless ego and pride.

Getting no reply from the other side of the tunnel, Victor had an awkward face as he turned to everyone with a sigh.

"Umm...so there's a change of plan, guys."

Everyone sweated at their temporary leader's words, wondering back to whether they would survive this or not.

Elsa on the other hand was more curious about the boy as she asked impatiently.

"You called out to Felix, right? Does that an he's here? But why?! Isn't he just a new Rank 1! Why would he co here where its so dangerous?!"

Her parental instincts suddenly kicked in hearing them ntion the boy whom she had watched grow from a small kid to a capable boy, though it took place within a month.

"Well, the thing is...", Evan started explaining to her about the boy's unique skills that led them here and how he even opened up the hole above them.

Victor nodded while Evan praised Felix with a smile, the other mbers glancing at each other showing respect for soone so capable.

Only Elsa had a lost expression as she realized that the boy had hidden so many things from her. She didn't know how she felt about it.

On one hand, she was happy and delighted that Felix could grow this much stronger. On the other hand, she felt that she may not have known him that well at all.

anwhile, as Victor started to give back orders on dealing with their enemies, the boy they had been talking of, was currently subrged inside the upper tunnel and was staring down at a group of 30 people on the other side of the ice wall.

'5...6...7....That ans 7000 skill points from these 7 Rank 3's. There are also 13 Rank 2's, which is about 1300 skill points...This is a jackpot for sure!.'

As Felix, not even hiding the greedy look in his eyes, stared hard at the people trying to break the ice wall, he couldn't help think.

'No matter what! I must atleast take down a few Rank 3's from here. That's a thousand skill points for each of them! I can create a lot of good skills with that amount.'

With his blood rising at the thought of going on a killing spree, Felix forced himself to calm down as he knew he wasn't strong enough to take them all on.

'Let's wait until both the sides clash. I'll make my move then.....', he smirked evilly, thinking that he ws very clever, when suddenly he rembered sothing.

'Wait-! Am I not part of one of these sides too?', Felix scratched his head, wondering why his mind was not working properly sotis.

'Is it because of the temptation from the skill points? Hmm....I better not be too dependent on them. But what else can I even depend on? I'm an average talentless person if not for this system....'

Sighing, he turned back his attention to the ground below, a quick plan formulating in his mind as his body moved to the walls of the tunnel.

'Ti to farm so skill points hehe...'
