"Of course... not. They’re all going to jail."

Everybody went quiet, and it took a while for Syrelle’s words to finally settle in everybody’s head.

Ecles was taken aback and looked at her eldest sister in shock and disbelief, and with wide eyes, she asked.

"Why? They saved . They never hurt ."

Syrelle’s smile remained as she shifted her gaze from Ecles to Pala, and then to Corey.

"Well. They’re humans and they can’t be trusted, Ecles."

"But-"

Ecles tried to speak, but Syrelle looked at her with a stern expression that made Ecles shut her mouth instantly.

"You’re young, Ecles. So it’s understandable that you trust them completely. But it was not only the Freedom Fighters that kidnapped you, the humans of the outside world kidnapped you too. They broke our agreent, and it’s just because of pure luck you’re here before us."

"No. It’s not. They’re-"

Once again, Syrelle cut Ecles cut off, and stared at both Corey and Pala with cold expressions.

"We won’t treat them bad in prison because they brought you to us. But we can’t let them roam freely in our city when we know nothing about them and their intentions."

Her expression slowly beca gentle as she turned toward Ecles whose eyes were becoming watery.

"Because of you, I’ll make a promise to you that as long as they cooperate. I won’t harm them."

Ecles sniffled and wiped the tears in her eyes away.

"You promise."

Syrelle smiled and nodded. "I promise."

Ecles nodded, and then she turned toward Pala. "Big Sis Pala, Big Sis Syrelle promised she won’t hurt you, so just cooperate with her so that I can show you my room and toys."

Pala smiled, and then she crouched and ruffled the little princess’ hair.

"You’re just so cute."

Ecles giggled with a bright smile, and Pala stood and looked at Corey. Corey looked at her, and nodded with a calm expression despite his dim eyes.

He placed his hand on Ecles’ shoulder, and then his hand emitted a grey light, and his Void Force enveloped entire body.

Before Syrelle, Olythia, or Thalor could react, Ecles disappeared, instantly shocking the three siblings.

"Ecles?"

Syrelle’s eyes widened, and so did Olythia and Thalor.

"You bastards! What have you done!"

Syrelle shouted out loud in anger, and her aura flared once again. Her spear crackled with fury, and Olythia’s rapier appeared in her hand and Thalor unsheathed his sword with a frigid cold expression.

"She’s safe. So calm down."

Corey calmly looked at the three Immortals whose auras were bearing down on him in fury and without a shred of rcy.

If not for his uniqueness and also the fact that he attained Undying Will, he would have found it more difficult to not kneel.

"Where is she?! I swear! If she’s hurt in anyway, you’ll rather beg the heavens to spare you of my wrath."

The skies beca filled with black thunderous clouds, and everybody in the city could hear and feel the fury of Syrelle.

Even those above ground were experiencing changes to their surroundings and the chaos it was causing was not little.

However, Corey was entirely calm despite being besieged by the auras of three Tier 7s.

’Not gonna lie. Experiencing three Immortal Auras is a good experience. But nothing can beat experiencing the killing intent of the Paragon Ancestor... Whenever I think about how I felt back then, I always seem to get used to any powerful aura.’

Corey pushed these thoughts away from his mind and focused on what was happening now.

"Ecles is safe. You don’t have to worry about her safety. But I’m not going to return her until we get so things straight."

"First of all, none of us is going to jail. Although you promised Ecles that you won’t hurt us, we’re not gullible."

"Ecles might believe you, but I definitely don’t. What’s to say that you won’t use any ans possible to interrogate us and if you’re dissatisfied, you won’t kill us and tell Ecles a very reason why she can no longer see us."

"So... we’re not going to jail. You’re not going to treat us like prisoners, and you’ll help in locating an item."

Orynthia scoffed with an extrely cold expression. "And why do we have to listen to you? You’re just a Tier 3. You’re not even a Mystic Being. And even those Mystic Beings beside you are trash in my eyes. I can choose to capture you and torture you for Ecles’ location."

Corey’s lips curled slightly, and then he raised a finger. "The first reason why I’d recomnd you not torturing is because if you do, I will kill Ecles. Not might or could, but WILL."

The expressions of Syrelle, Orynthia, and Thalos changed.

"You bastard. You wouldn’t dare." Orynthia scowled with her eyes flashing with lightning.

Corey smiled, and then he opened his right hand. His hand pulsed with void force, and then a strand of hair appeared in his hand.

Syrelle, Orynthia, and Thalos’ gaze sharpened when they saw the hair, and a murderous glint flashed in their eyes when they perceived the familiar aura of Ecles.

"As you can see. I can reach and touch Ecles anyti. Also, I don’t need to move to kill her. I just need a re thought to kill her, and she’s..."

Flas appeared in Corey’s hand, and Ecles’ hair turned to ash.

"... And she’s gone just like this hair."

Corey’s lips curled into a smile once again, and then he gestured at Syrelle.

"But don’t worry, like I said. I’m not going to hurt her. Besides, she knows that I’m actually not an ordinary Tier 3, and I’m quite special if I may brag."

Orynthia and Thalos looked at Syrelle in confusion, but Syrelle rely stared back at Corey with a deep frown.

"If we-"

"You’re right, young man. You’re definitely not an ordinary Tier 3. And I’ll be lying if I say I’m not extrely curious about you."

The eyes of Syrelle, Orynthia, and Thalos widened. Their heads snapped in the direction of the female voice they heard, and the mont they saw the figure who spoke, they fell on one knee.

"Your Majesty!"

anwhile, Corey’s lips twitched repeatedly as he looked at the Queen of the Silver Elves and Ecles who was sohow beside her.

’Shit.’
