Toxic Domain
The world around him bent, and within a 2-kiloter radius, every single Eidolon’s clones entered the Domain...
And it welco them with suffering.
The sky suddenly darkened, and the air within a 2-kiloter radius beca thick, heavy, warped. Almost like the space itself were suffocating beneath a miasmic tide.
The air beca thick with death, and the ground within the domain twisted.
The ground began to rot and soften into a black-green spongy ground that seeped out poison. Faint, writhing tendrils of acidic fog rose from every surface of the Domain. They crawled and hissed with a life of their own.
Every step the clones took caused their bodies to lt, and their bones to beco brittle.
The clones beca weaker.
So collapsed.
And so beca paralyzed.
Every breath they took turned to poison, and every movent they made beca heavier.
But regardless of all of these, they kept coming.
Corey frowned when he saw this. Everything seed strange despite it seeming like the attacks were normal, they felt strange to him.
’This is a distraction.’
The thought struck him like lightning, and then he turned toward Eidolon. Just as his gaze landed on Eidolon, its red eye glowed again.
Another beam was coming.
At least, that was what Corey thought, until he realized that he was wrong.
It wasn’t a beam but a spiral.
It was a condensed, thin laser, no wider than a thread, but it spun at an impossible speed.
Corey’s instincts rang loudly in his mind, and then a second later, lightning sparks appeared around his feet.
Lightning Movent Art: Flash Step
He vanished again, and the mont he vanished, the red thread-laser slashed through the storm and bisected the sky.
The world went silent for a second, and then... everything it touched, whether it was the clones, stones, or buildings... Everything fell apart, and they were perfectly sliced in two.
’What sort of power is this? It doesn’t just destroy... it’s unraveling the runes of the world?’
Corey’s gaze shifted to everything that was sliced in two, and his eyes widened in realization.
The clones, stones, and buildings suddenly changed. From the stable, solid structure, their bodies and structures beca thread-like.
The red eye possessed not just one, but two types of energy beams. And the two beams were unique
possessed a thread-dismantling beam , and this beam was a conceptual attack.
’It doesn’t produce heat like the previous energy beam... It’s more like an icy energy beam that targets the structure of whatever it cuts and unravels its molecules.’
Another clone leapt at him from behind.
Corey spun, and his axe tore through it mid-lunge.
Claw Rune
The crimson-black energy cleaved ten more in a single sweep.
But Eidolon wasn’t done. Its blue eye flickered, and the clones began shifting.
They began teleporting randomly.
They blinked in and out of spacd, with so appearing behind Corey, others midair, and so even appeared beneath the rubbles around.
It all felt extrely chaotic, and Corey’s brows were furrowed deeply.
’The red eye can unleash two different types of destructive beams... Maybe more.’
’While the gold eye has only used one skill, spatial implosion.’
’As for the blue eye, it seems to be controlling the clones and producing them.’
His body spun as he dodged the sudden attacks and appearance of the chaotic clones.
His aura exploded, and then he executed Lightning Movent Art and combined it with his Void Force.
Arcs of white lightning exploded from his feet as he took a step forward and vanished again.
This ti around, even the perception of Eidolon could not track him.
He danced between the blinks of reality, and his axe split every clone that was in his way, and the trail of lightning he left behind with every step he took charred the bodies of the clones.
In the blink of an eye, he appeared behind Eidolon’s true body.
He raised his axe, and with a cold and calculating gaze, he carved a massive rune into the air using his Genesis Armant in just three seconds.
Runic Transmutation: Rise of Gold
The rune shattered, and the ground beneath Eidolon trembled.
The ground beneath Eidolon suddenly lit up with a massive golden rune, and the ground turned golden in two seconds.
Then in the next second, golden spires surged up through the earth and exploded like geysers.
The golden spires pierced Eidolon, drawing out copious amount of blood that drenched the blood of the thousands of clones that had died.
The rubbles and shattered remains of the Archive beca covered in so much blood that only the tip of so rubbles remained.
Eidolon shrieked. And its body convulsed.
For the first ti, its balance faltered.
But it wasn’t over.
A new and entirely strange hum echoed far and wide from the body of Eidolon, and this hum made Corey’s head ache.
He felt his Spiritual Sea of Consciousness tremble, and a splitting headache hit him.
His instincts rang so loud that he released an annoyed groan.
However, he suppressed the headache and annoyance he felt, and then he looked at Eidolon.
When he did, his pupils shrank.
Eidolon’s three eyes aligned, and a new light was born.
The gold, blue, and red rged into a spiraling eye of white light.
Corey’s eyes widened when he saw this. His instincts scread at him, and he knew that he had seconds before the eye was fully ford.
He had no idea what it could do, but his instincts warned him that whatever it was could kill him.
It was a huge threat to his life.
And so...
He raised his axe, and his aura surged.
Dreamfire exploded behind him, and the world thrumd as he unleashed Phantom Plague Axe Heart Intent.
The runes on his Genesis Armant blazed to life, and his lips parted open slightly.
Although he could not speak, his lips moved as if he could, and the world trembled at his words and thoughts.
