As Divine cursed with a disgusted expression, Corey walked to the edge of the formation and looked at Kiefer and Selene with a solemn expression.
He alternated his gaze from his chained subordinates to the formation a few tis, and then he stretched his hands towards Kiefer and Selene.
'The formation is extrely complicated and I've only been able to decipher ten percent of the entire formation.'
'I can also see formations on the chains, and one of these formations is to put anybody that is chained to sleep.'
'It also saps their energy and prevents them from gathering mana from the world. There are other formations which would need ti for to decipher, and one of them might lead to sothing unwanted happening if I try to remove the chains myself.'
'I cannot take the risk of trying to remove the chains from Kiefer and Selene.'
'So, I'll bring them to without affecting the chains.'
His pure white eyes glowed brightly, and then the space around Corey's hands rippled.
His Void Force pulsed and engulfed the chained bodies of Selene and Kiefer. Their bodies glowed with a dark grey light, and then two seconds later, the space around them rippled for a second before they vanished.
Selene and Kiefer appeared in front of Corey's hands and Corey quickly held them before they fell.
"They're still alive."
Divine's voice drifted into Corey's ears, and Corey nodded.
His pure white eyes glowed as he inspected their bodies for any hidden injuries as he healed them with Dream Healing.
He saw that there was no hidden injuries in their bodies with the only injuries been the cuts on their wrist, ankles, and forehead.
However, as Corey used Dream Healing on his two subordinates, he realized that whatever was used to cut the bodies of his subordinates possessed a curse.
The curse prevented the cuts from healing on its own and if one tried to heal the cuts using either herbs or the average healing skill, the cut would beco worse and the rate at which his subordinates bled would increase.
Basically, the curse was ant for Kiefer and Selene to bleed nonstop.
However, and once again, Corey saw how powerful his Dream Healing skill was basically an overpowered healing skill.
It was able to nullify the curse and heal both Kiefer and Selene.
After healing all the injuries of both Kiefer and Selene, their eyes fluttered open.
At first they were confused as to where they were, but then their expressions turned to one of wariness as they tried to move.
"It's okay. Calm down."
Corey's voice flowed into their ears, and their tensed bodies slowly cald down.
"Master?"
Kiefer looked at Corey with wide eyes and Selene also did the sa.
She looked around with a confused light in her eyes, and then she shifted her gaze back to Corey.
"Triple X. He-"
"It's fine. We've taken care of him."
Selene's mouth hung open, and although she had a million things she wanted to say, so many questions she wanted to ask, but after a short glance around, she noticed the sleeping Rosa, the dullness in Divine's eyes, the absence of Divine's imnse presence and aura, and the sharpness and coldness that was in her master's gaze, she chose to keep quiet and ask her questions later.
Although Kiefer could not process information as fast as Selene who was a Tier 4, due to his terrible upbringing, it was already ingrained in him to observe first then act or speak.
Because of this, he also noticed so oddities, most especially...
'Where's Mister Fatty Black Bonez, lissa, and Dave?'
Although Kiefer wished to ask this question, he also made the decision to not ask until he felt the ti was right.
anwhile, Corey had been expecting to hear questions from Kiefer and Selene, Kiefer especially, but when he saw them remaining silent while observing their surroundings, a surprised light flashed in his eyes.
'They're perceptive.'
Corey shifted his gaze to Divine, and then he gently pushed Kiefer and Selene towards him.
"Take them. I'm going to try and destroy the formation."
Divine glanced at Kiefer and Selene who approached him and stood beside him, and then he looked at Corey.
"I was going to ask you if you could do sothing about the formation. I would have destroyed it if I was not injured."
Corey looked at the formation for so seconds with countless simulations and thoughts running through his mind.
He raised his right hand, and then countless lightning runes appeared and spun around him and above the formation.
"Stay far away from ... No, it'll be better if you leave this room."
"Are you sure you'll-"
"Nobody is leaving this room."
A soft, almost charming, but seductive voice resounded in the minds of Corey, Divine, Kiefer, and Selene.
Kiefer and Selene looked around with a baffled expression, but the expressions of Divine and Corey drastically changed.
"Smile Reaper!"
Divine's head snapped towards Corey. anwhile, Corey's gaze was on his outstretched right arm.
A fair hand with black claws held his arm, and with a gaze that was cold, calculating, but shaken, he turned to his right in less than a second.
Standing right beside him while holding his arm was Triple X with one hand in his pocket and a completely different appearance.
On his head were no longer two horns but four curved horns, his face and body were covered in black runes, his black hair was longer, and on his back were two black wings.
Corey used a fraction of a fraction of a second to see the appearance of the being, and without wasting a single second, he tried to remove his hand from the grasp of the being but he failed, and his gaze beca extrely cold.
"Oh, and boy. It would be rather unpleasant if you destroy this formation. You see-"
THRUM!
SHING!
Before Triple X or the being that had possessed Triple X's body could finish his words, the world thrumd and then it howled.
The left eye of the being twitched, and he thought that an attack was about to thrown his way, but what happened was completely out of his expectations.
A phantom axe appeared in Corey's free hand, and without hesitation, he cut off his arm and instantly jumped away.
