After hearing about the past and life story of Prince Zeran from Divine, Corey had a contemplative expression as nurous thoughts appeared in his mind.
Although this information given to him by Divine was not enough for him to accurately guess why exactly the Prince of the Scorching Sun Kingdom sent a ssenger to him specifically, and not Divine or lissa who were in a higher tier than he was, it at least gave him sothing to work with.
'I guess I'll figure out why the Prince chose if I et him.'
Corey thought, and then Divine spoke.
"Do you plan on accepting his invitation?"
Corey glanced at Divine, and he could see a rare expression of seriousness on Divine's face. Corey remained silent for a few seconds, and then he nodded, "I do."
"You're smart, and I'm sure you've already co to the conclusion that he wants to use you, right?" Divine said with a solemn tone, and Corey nodded slightly.
'It's one of my conclusions, and not the only conclusion I ca up with.'
Although he had this thought, he didn't bother saying it out loud, "I know."
"But you still want to go?" Divine asked with slightly furrowed brows, and Corey tilted his head to his left slightly.
"It's like you don't want to et him?" Corey asked, but it was not really a question.
"It's extrely risky." Divine paused for two seconds, and then he continued, "If you et up with him and you, in so way, offend him, the consequences would not be small… If you choose not to et him, he'll most likely forget about you and see you as a coward or a cautious person even if a part of him feels offended by the fact that a re Tier 2 rejected him."
"In my opinion, not eting him to avoid any future problems is wise and much better."
Corey frowned deeply when he heard this. He remained silent for so seconds and the stars in his mind spun and flared up as his mind conjured up a lot of thoughts, guesses, simulations, and questions.
Approximately seven seconds later, he looked at Divine and asked a question.
"Compared to the Scorching Sun Kingdom, how powerful is your family, the House of Divine?"
"The Scorching Sun Kingdom would annihilate my family." Divine replied in a heartbeat, and Corey's frown deepened when he heard this.
"Although we'll make them suffer so losses, it'll be inconsequential and would rely delay the advancent of the Scorching Sun Kingdom to an Empire by a thousand years or at most, by ten thousand years."
Corey raised his brows and so did lissa when they heard Divine's words. They had no idea what he ant.
"Advancent to an Empire?" Corey asked, and Divine blinked in realization.
"Oh, I forgot you guys don't know about the Universal Grading System of Organizations."
Divine scratched his head with a complicated expression, and then he sighed.
"Explaining the Universal Grading System of Organizations is going to be long and sowhat confusing, so I'll explain it after we leave this Shattered Dinsion. Besides, you'll need to know about it before the Battle of Chosens is over."
Corey furrowed his brows slightly when he heard this, and although he wanted to learn about the Universal Grading System of Organizations from Divine now, he decided against it because what they needed to focus on was the invitation from Prince Zeran.
'There was no book on the Universal Grading System of Organizations in the Outer and Inner Library of the City of Sins. Maybe there's a book on it in the Central Library… I wonder what information I'll be able to get in the Central Library.'
As Corey had this thought, Divine spoke.
"Although telling you about the Universal Grading System of Organizations would take ti, what I can tell you is that in terms of grade, the Scorching Sun Kingdom is in the second grade, a grade below the highest grade."
"Any organization that has the title, 'Empire' in it, is in the first grade. The Scorching Sun Kingdom is about to beco an Empire, and once they do, even my family would have no choice but to bow before them."
When Corey heard this from Divine, he observed Divine's expression but he saw him having a relatively calm and unbothered expression.
"So, if you were thinking that I'd be able to protect you from the Scorching Sun Kingdom if you eventually beco enemies with them, just know that I can't."
Corey shook his head when he heard Divine's words.
'Does he really think I'll want to beco enemies with a top Universal level organization? I'm just a Tier 2, and the only way I survive is if there's an organization of Paragons who would be willing to help . But there's no way I'll be banking on that.'
"I don't plan on becoming enemies with them." Corey replied, but Divine still gave him a suspicious look.
"But I'm still going to accept his invitation."
The instant Corey said this, Divine released a deep sigh of frustration. He remained silent for a few seconds before speaking.
"Alright, since you're so adamant about going, then we'll vote."
Corey raised his brows, and then he shifted his gaze from Divine to lissa.
lissa was taken aback for a second, but then she smiled at Divine, "I'm interested in the invitation."
"God damn it!" Divine cursed and Corey's lips curled upwards.
Sigh
Divine sighed, and with a tone of resignation, he stood and cursed once again.
"Fine, we'll accept the invitation and et with the 14th Prince of the Scorching Sun Kingdom, but I have a damn bloody feeling that sothing bad would happen, and guess what… my instincts are usually right!"
Without waiting for a reply from Corey or lissa, he walked to the door and opened it. Just as he was about to leave the room, Corey spoke.
"Don't be late for the eting tomorrow."
"Tch." Divine paused, and then he hissed in anger before walking out of the room and slamming the door shut.
Corey chuckled softly, and then he glanced at lissa.
"I guess I should say thanks for agreeing to et the Prince."
lissa smiled and shrugged as she stood, "I didn't do it for you, I'm also interested in eting a Prince of a powerful Kingdom of our Universe."
Corey did not know why, but the image of lissa and Javier's entwining figures appeared in his head after lissa said those words.
Corey forced himself to smile instead of his lips twitching, and then without saying anything, he watched lissa walk out of his room.
'I guess I'm going to et a Prince for the first ti in my life.' Corey chuckled softly with a light smile.
