As Pala felt herself being pulled by Corey into his soul, she did not know what to expect.
But she had a feeling that what she was going to experience was going to be unforgettable.
She had very little knowledge of the soul, but she had a feeling that it should not be normal and possible for one to bring another person’s spirit inside their soul.
The soul was an extrely fragile part of any being, and Pala knew that if she wanted to cause Corey so much pain and give him a life threatening injury, she could do so inside his soul.
She could not help but wonder if Corey trusted her so much to the point that he brought her to such a fragile part of him.
’Nahh. Knowing this bastard, he probably has a contingency plan in place, in case I try anything funny. Look at his damn soul for fuck sake. It’s definitely not normal, and I won’t be surprised if it can kill my spirit.’
Pala decided to shift her attention from these thoughts, and she focused on everything that was inside Corey’s Cosmic Soul.
She looked at the nearby stars and distant stars, the planets, the nebulae, the darkness, several blackholes in the distance, and even a cloud of black and golden lightning in the distance.
She saw so many wonders and beautiful things as Corey pulled her in his soul, and she was srized by everything she was seeing.
For so reason, she had this feeling that Corey’s soul was bigger than even their universe.
But her common sense told her that this was not possible.
If his soul was so big, then she should not be able to so many things inside his soul.
Her eyes were not so absurd, and she was not that powerful... yet
’It might not be as big as the universe. But it’s still damn big honestly.’
An unknown amount of ti later, Corey ca to a stop, and Pala was forced to shift her attention from the wonders of Corey’s soul to their surroundings.
She glanced at Corey, then she shifted her gaze to the front.
In front of her was the barrier of Corey’s Cosmic Soul, but on it was an image.
The image was of a closed vertical blue eye.
The mont Pala saw this eye, her expression beca solemn. It was the sa as the Universal Brand on Corey’s hand.
"This... It looks creepy as fuck." Pala said with a tinge of disgust, then Corey chuckled softly with a smile.
"You’re right. But guess what... Every living being in the universe has this sa creepy thing in their soul. Though, theirs would be of a different colour than mine."
When Pala heard this, she understood.
There were different brand levels, and the higher your Tier, the higher the level of your brand.
A level 1 brand has a red colour.
A level 2 brand has an orange colour.
A level 3 brand has a yellow colour.
A level 4 brand has a green colour.
A level 5 brand has a blue colour
A level 6 brand has an indigo colour.
And a level 7 brand has a violet colour.
Pala had no idea what the colours of brands above level 7 were, but she knew that such brands were rare.
If the individual had not done anything noteworthy to cause the Universal System to increase the brand level, then a level 8 brand was for Tier 8 beings, and Pala has not encountered any Tier 8 being in their true body.
’I’m a Tier 4 and my brand level is still Level 5, but you’re a Tier 3 and your brand level is Tier 3.’
’Since I know the true nature of brands, I understand now that the higher one’s brand, the more attention the Universal System gives the individual along with so ’benefits.’
’Now I know one of the reasons why he doesn’t want to advance to Tier 4 before doing this. His Brand level would be too high for him and doing this would be more dangerous for the two of us.’
Pala released a soft sigh, then she spoke.
"When do you want to start?"
"Now obviously."
Pala nodded, then she looked at the brand once again.
"Can’t believe I have sothing like this inside of . It’s so creepy."
Corey chuckled softly. "I can assist you in removing it, if you want."
Pala shook her head softly with a wry smile. "Nah. No thank you. Let see what’ll happen to you first before I do sothing as mad as this. If you die, then there’s no way I’m doing it since you’re way stronger than ."
"I guess that makes sense. Cowardly, but a wise decision to make honestly."
Corey nodded softly, then he took a step forward and let go of Pala’s hand.
"Let’s begin."
Corey raised his right hand, and the light around his hand began to vanish. His gaze beca cold, and as extrely black runes were about to form round his hand, Pala spoke.
"Wait."
Corey paused and looked at her with a frown.
"What is it?"
"We’ve not co to an agreent about us having a child."
Corey was taken aback, and he looked at Pala with a baffled expression.
"Is this really the right ti to be saying this?"
Pala nodded. "Yes. We might not have ti to talk about once we proceed."
Corey’s eyes flashed with annoyance, then he clicked his tongue and shifted his gaze back to the Universal Brand.
"Do you want to have a child with the current or the future after I successfully beco a completely new and more powerful race?"
Pala’s eyes flashed with a contemplating light, then she said solemnly.
"You might die."
"I won’t." Corey said confidently and simply, then his Eyes of Dreams and Nightmares turned pure white.
"I won’t die. So, stop wasting our precious ti and attack it right now."
Pala’s lips curled up slightly, then she turned and faced the blue eye.
"Sure thing. Future husband."
Corey’s eyes twitched, but he said nothing in response.
A simple yet utterly complex black rune that bled black liquid into the space of his Cosmic Soul erged above his hand.
And the cube of esoteric runes erged above Pala’s hands.
Without wasting anymore ti, they both sent it flying toward the blue vertical eye, and the mont they touched the eye, a screech of pain and fury echoed across Corey’s mind and even in the outside world.
