Corey took his ti telling Anna everything he went through after she was kidnapped. Even little details that he would have glossed over, he told her, and this made it all the more interesting for her since she always had questions that made their conversation a lot longer.
Although Corey told her a lot, he did not tell her about the Paragons and Supres for now for several reasons.
He only told her that he was affiliated with an extrely powerful being and that he would tell her the identity of the powerful being.
She wanted to brag that the powerful being he was affiliated with was most likely not as powerful as Tessa, but Corey rely smiled at her words.
After approximately three hours and thirty minutes, Corey finished telling Anna everything he went through and several other random things.
Anna was extrely surprised by everything Corey told her, especially the extrely strange places he went to like the location of the Clown’s Death Race and the Shattered Dinsion of the Old Ones.
She was intrigued by the monsters Corey faced and also the existence of extrely mysterious, extrely dangerous, and the extrely powerful beings called the Old Ones like Death.
"Wow. No wonder you’re so powerful and your appearance has changed. You’ve fought a lot of powerful beings you’re not ant to face."
Corey only smiled in response to her words, and after a few seconds, he spoke.
"Now that I’ve told you my story, what about yours? What... what have you gone through? And if you’re not comfortable telling , then tell about Tessa instead."
Anna fell silent and looked at her hands. They were trembling slightly, and despite her wanting to stop herself from trembling, she could not.
Corey noticed this, and his eyes flashed with worry.
His right hand emitted a dark grey light as he used his void force to seamlessly reduce the distance between the two of them.
Anna was stunned when she noticed this, and she was taken back when she saw Corey’s hand on hers.
"Like I said. It’s fine if you’re not okay telling now, you can tell lqte when you’re ready to tell . And you can tell about Tessa instead, you said she was a god of our universe."
Anna nodded her head, and released a soft sigh.
"She was not just a god. She was a true god of our universe."
Corey raised his brows. "A true god of our universe?"
Anna nodded once again while subconsciously holding Corey’s hands tightly.
"According to Tessa, before the appearance of the Universal System, the power ranking system was completely different and it didn’t use Tiers."
"In terms of the godhood ranking, there are Demi-gods, Lesser gods, Greater gods, and True gods. She said there are more, but those above the True god level reached a realm where they had to leave the universe."
Corey’s eyes flashed with intrigue and curiosity at her words. This was the first ti he was obtaining information about godhood.
Even though he had information from the Libraries of the Underworld and the Archive, there was no information about godhood.
Even the Archive which had little bits of information that predated the Universal System, it had no information on godhood... Almost like it had been wiped out and completely removed from existence.
’Since the Archive was in a System Trial, it makes sense that the Universal System would not want there to be any information about godhood in its own realm... especially if it would be damaging to it.’
’... And if knowledge about godhood is damaging or detrintal to the universal system, then it’s most likely to the Supre Ancestor or his plans.’
The gears in Corey’s mind spun at an extrely fast speed at nurous thoughts and questions appeared in his mind.
As Corey was slightly lost in his thoughts, Anna continued speaking.
"Tessa told that, currently, Tier 9s could be compared to Demi-gods. Tier 10s could be compared to Lesser gods. Tier 11s could be compared to Greater gods, and Tier 12s could be compared to True gods. As for the higher Tiers and realms of godhood, I don’t know."
"But you should know now, just how powerful and amazing Tessa was. Many people have never heard of godhood or Tier 10s and above, but Tessa said that it’s when one reaches Tier 9 that one begins to co in contact with the true powers of the Universe."
"Oh yeah, she also told that Tier 9s, 10s, 11s, and 12s are weaker than the gods that were in the universe in the past."
"Oh wait... I rember now. It’s not that they’re weaker, it’s that they’re more limited. The power system of the Universal System is limited, and it’s extrely difficult for one to attain certain achievents that one could achieve in the past to be more powerful than their peers."
Corey’s eyes shone brightly when he heard this, and he looked at Anna with a tinge of expectation in his eyes.
"So, how is she progressing now? You guys are definitely using the Universal System to get stronger, but I’m certain that sobody like her who was able to beco a True god would have ambitions to be greater than a true god and to also not be limited. Is she using another thod to beco stronger?"
Anna frowned slightly in thought for a few seconds, and then she shook her head.
"I don’t know. I’m not sure. She has never told that and I’ve never asked. But I think there was a ti I overheard her saying that the Universal System must not find out that one is using of the ancient cultivation thods to progress in power or else they’ll be marked and hunted by the Universal System I think?"
’I don’t think the Universal System has a physical body, so I’m guessing it’s probably the Supres that would hunt anybody that is marked. Or maybe it’s sothing else entirely.’
’But the crux of the matter is that I need to speak with Tessa before I continue with my plans. She’s the well of information I need.’
