"Offer your lives to ."

Such brazen words were spoken by Corey who was facing two beings that were on par with Immortals.

To Anton and Pope Arzhel, it looked like Corey was telling them to willingly offer their lives to him.

Apart from Syrelle, Thalor, Pala, and Tessa, there was no other person in this realm.

So, the most obvious conclusion was that Corey had told Anton and Pope Arzhel to offer their lives to him.

Such words were extrely baffling to the duo, and for a mont, they looked at one another in confusion.

Until... Anton began to sense sothing within himself, and Pope Arzhel’s eyes sharpened.

"What?" Anton muttered in disbelief as he saw multiple glowing neon lights in his body.

He felt a powerful rejection from within himself, and when he did a quick sweep of his internal system, he identified the source of this feeling.

"Those strange mutants?"

Anton had not yet fathod the danger he was in, but that did not last long. A second later, his instincts scread at him, causing his eyes to widen in shock and fear, but it was too late.

BOOM!!!!

A cataclysmic explosion shook the entire realm to the core, and a powerful shockwave that destroyed and uprooted every tree in the realm nearly destroyed the very barrier of this realm.

Before the explosion, Corey for the first ti ever, summoned his Void Wings and entered the void, completely avoiding the power behind the explosion.

It was the first ti he chose to hide in the void in a battle, and he would not have done so if he had another choice.

Till he completed his plans for the near future, he had no desire to reveal all his abilities... unless he truly, and he ant TRULY had no choice.

anwhile, Pope Arzhel brought out a massive golden shield which absorbed the explosion and protected Pope Arzhel from it.

At first, it looked like the shield would hold on for as long as possible. But a few seconds later, it beca red hot, and cracks began appearing on the shield.

Pope Arzhel’s expression drastically changed.

"Damn it."

Just as he mumbled these words, the shield crumbled into pieces, and the explosion engulfed him.

Corey saw this from within the void, and he knew that the Pope was not dead or even gravely injured.

His armor had powerful defensive capabilities, and the shield he brought negated most of the damage that would have co upon him.

anwhile, Pala cursed Corey from the bottom of her heart as she deployed thousands of powerful runic barrier around her.

Dozens of average Tier 6s would find it difficult to shatter a single runic barrier, but Pala had deployed thousands of it in less than a second.

This put imnse strain on her mana veins because she had used so much mana to the point that even an average Tier 7’s mana reserves would pale in comparison to what she used.

However, it was not enough.

The explosion shattered her barriers in seconds, and Pala had to continuously create new barriers in a fraction of a second to protect herself from dying.

Doing this was extrely strenuous on Pala, and with every second that passed, Corey received a million curses. Luckily for him, he was immune to curses.

As for Tessa, a ring she wore on her finger produced a white sphere around her. The mont the explosion slamd into her, she was sent flying along with the sphere, and cracks began appearing on the sphere.

A few seconds later, the sphere shattered and Tessa was engulfed by the explosion.

Corey watched with his Eyes of Omniscience as all of these events occurred. Even Syrelle and Thalor were not spared of the explosion.

Corey was a bit shaken by the power behind the explosion despite already expecting such power from the resulting of Anton who was a Tier 7.

What Corey had done was not a simple thing like causing the Neon Mutants Anton had fused with to self-destruct.

No.

What he did was to make every Neon Mutant release a poisonous gas of Neon in Anton’s body, and the corpses he had fused with beca infected with Neon as they absorbed it subconsciously.

Which led to Corey having full control over nearly eighty percent (80%) of the corpses, and with this level of control, he held Anton’s life in his hand... literally.

Making every Neon Mutant to self destruct heavily destabilized Anton’s mana core, and with all the self destruction occurring not only inside of him, but also in his soul due to his intrinsic connection with every undead he fused with...

Surprisingly, Anton did not die. But his current state made it seem like death would have been rcy for him.

Anton’s lower body was completely gone, and he had less than a quarter of his entire body. His head was more bones than flesh, and Corey could see how the light in his eyes were flickering in and out.

A few ters away from the man was the Book of Death, and when Corey saw it, he left the void and reappeared beside the book.

He picked the book from the floor, and after observing it for a few seconds, he nodded slightly.

He was about to store the book in his Tri-Pupil Eyes, but a sound from Anton’s mangled and nearly dead half corpse drifted into his ears.

"I-It... It’s... n-no-not... yours."

Corey tilted his head, and then he took slow and steady steps toward Anton.

His legs were re centitres away from the dying man’s head, and Corey looked down at him with cold, indifferent eyes.

"The dead should stay dead. The dead don’t talk."

Simon stretched out his hand, and his Genesis Armant appeared in his hand.

Anton tried to speak, but Corey swung his axe at the man’s neck. Lightning along with the divine energy of the world tree flowed around his Genesis Armant, causing Anton to die.

On this day, Corey killed his first Immortal.
