anwhile, on the other part of Greedland where a huge crater was made, Sakim was standing at the very center of it. His eyes were tightly closed and one of his hands was clenched in front of his chest as he was feeling the energy flowing throughout his body.
Without knowing it, heavy pressure pinned down his surroundings as it seed that the pressure ca from him. The ground vibrated slightly and small cracks were ford from all around. But Sakim seed to not notice anything at all.
A few monts later, Sakim slowly opened his eyes followed by a deep breath. He uncurled his hand raised in front of his chest as he muttered to himself, "Phew, that felt good!"
Stretching his arm before whirling it slowly, he then stretched his neck trying to relieve himself. After which, he gazed at the hologram screen in front of him as he said, "Now then, it's your turn, Penalty Box."
Three slots were revealed on the screen. Two of which had boxes that were already opened and the last slot had its box, the black in color, still lying leisurely as if excited to be opened.
With a deep breath, Sakim then ordered to the System, "Open Penalty Box!"
Rumble! Rumble!
"What's happening?" Sakim was jolted in shock by the sudden occurrence.
The ground before him was shaking intensely and the sky seed to darken as dark clouds were just mysteriously appearing right above him. The wind was as if angered as it tried to push him away but to no avail.
Sakim turned his gaze above and saw the strange dark clouds becoming bigger and was starting to form lightning.
Rumble!
A deafening roar of thunder echoed across the area. The nearby living beings seed to be frightened as beasts and wild animals ran aimlessly in all directions. Except in a certain direction of course, and that was to where the crater was.
It was as if sothing frightening was preventing them to go in that direction as they all avoided the area.
Sakim watched the dark clouds in caution but to his horror, sothing he would never expect had occurred.
Boom!
The lightning forming on the clouds had just landed on him, making him feel the wrath of Heaven. As if Heaven itself was refusing for his existence.
Gnashing his teeth in anguish, Sakim tried his best for his consciousness to remain intact. Blue lightning shrouded his body as his sight was gradually becoming so blurry.
"Aaahhhhh!!!"
Roaring furiously as if trying to fight the Heaven's Will, an incredible amount of energy exuded out from Sakim. The blue lightning shrouding his entire body had gradually disappeared on sight as it was been absorbed by Sakim himself.
[Notification!]
Gasp! Gasp! Gasp!
The System let out a new notification the mont he absorbed the lightning. When Sakim saw it as he was frenziedly trying to gasp for air, his eyes had gotten wider. Slowly, a grin was forming on his lips as he saw the words written on the screen.

"I've stolen the wrath of heaven?" Sakim really was surprised this ti with joy filling his heart. He just survived a life-threatening encounter, how could he not be happy with that?!
He was even thankful that his passive was actually Greed, a skill that could steal everything! He never thought that the extent of this stealing capability would be so great to even dare to steal the Wrath Of Heaven.
As long as he had this passive skill, stealing all the attacks against him was no problem at all. He really wondered how much was the extent of this 'Passive Skill: Greed' of his.
The smile on his lips just didn't want to leave him not until when he read the continuation of the notification,

"What the heck? A curse?" Should he be angry? Should he calm himself down? Sakim really didn't know how to react this ti. What he felt right now was a burning rage threatening to cause destruction at any mont. And he was having a hard ti suppressing it.
Congratulations my ass! How could you see it as achievents?!

Though he still yet to read the description of the curse he just received, just by reading its na, he could already tell the gist of it.
But realizing that his emotional state was going out of control, Sakim breathed a deep one trying to calm his mind. He never felt this anger for a long while. The last ti was probably in his youth days when he was still an insignificant high schooler who always caused a brawl in his wake.
Now that he thought about it, he really wondered if his youthful body also turned back his state of mind to that of a youth. If that was the case, he would surely have a hard ti controlling his state of mind this ti.
After taking a deep breath, his usually calm deanor finally returned to him. He really was reprimanding himself inwardly for being affected too much by sothing like this.
It was just a curse so why would he bother himself worrying too much about it. If he really was cursed, then he should just find a way to cure it.
With that in mind, Sakim's cold gaze landed on the hologram screen as he said nonchalantly, "Curse, Single Stat System."

If you've just accepted the content of Penalty Box which is the 'Wrath of Heaven' and just die already, you won't be cursed anymore. But because you're so stubborn and even defy the Heaven's Will, the Heaven puts a curse on you. But don't worry, it's only for the sake of ga balance.
With twitching eyebrows, veins popped up on his neck and temple as he tried so hard to stay calm. Nevertheless, the complaints in his heart still lingered upon him.
The Heaven isn't fair in the first place, where did they get the guts of talking about 'balance' for the sake of fairness?
Besides, are you trying to kill ?! It's better to be cursed than to accept the Heaven's Will you're talking about!
No wonder why he was so angry and his emotions were going out of control, Sakim finally realized the culprit. It's not because of his youthful body turning back his state of mind to that of his youth, but it was all because of the lightning he suffered earlier.
He almost died trying to overco that lightning. If not for his Passive Skill: Greed, he would have already been a cold corpse right now. But now that he had finally overco the Wrath Of Heaven, instead of rewards, what he received was actually a curse. How could he not be angry about it?
The other protagonists that he read on many manga and novels in his youth days, beca stronger after their lightning tribulation. But for him, he still hadn't t anyone at all and not even starting his journey, and he would receive a lightning tribulation just like that? What even worse was that as if it wasn't enough, the Heaven also gave him a curse.
Just by thinking about it could make Sakim burn into a rage, and when he saw what was that single stat available, he almost choked to death trying to suppress his urge to spurt a mouthful of blood.

What the heck was this? Vitality? Sakim felt light-headed as he stepped back to regain his balance.
I suffered the wrath of heaven, fine, I'll accept it as a punishnt for my past life.
I've been cursed, fine I accept it, I'll just try to find a way to cure it.
The curse is a single stat system, fine I'll still accept it.
But what the heck is this? It's still fine if it's strength stat but vitality? How the heck will I level up with that.
Suppressing his urge to cry, Sakim had once again felt the helplessness in his life. A mont later, a bitter smile surfaced on his lips as he turned his head upwards, gazing into the now clear sky.
"Is the heaven taking revenge on ?" Sakim muttered to himself. "Since I took so much from the others in my past life, my karma has finally arrived that even the System has only given a single stat available."
Sigh.
Shifting his gaze back to the hologram screen, Sakim shook his head lightly as he finally accepted what had happened to him. So instead of whining that could do him nothing, he just decided to go continue to move forward using the little things he had.
Gazing intently at the hologram screen, Sakim then ordered, "Status!"
