"What are you talking about?" The Greed Spirit asked. As if he really was confused from the other party's question and knew nothing about Stella.

"Stop acting. I knew that you already have figured out that this lady here is not a human..." The beautiful lady responded. This Greed Spirit was really good at acting.

"What?! She's not a human?!" The Greed Spirit was astonished. His eyes got widened as he added in disbelief, "That's impossible!"

Veins popped out on the beautiful lady's head as she found it hard to remain her calm deanor. This Greed Spirit was really trying to get on her nerves. There was even an urge in her to smack the other party right here right now.

"Don't forget how important the Vessel is to you." Seeing that her state of mind was being affected by the nonsense of the Greed Spirit, the beautiful lady took a deep breath as she sent another telepathic ssage. "Are you certain that you will find him first before the others?"

"..."

Seeing that the Greed Spirit didn't reply to her, the beautiful lady then continued, "I only need to et the Vessel. After that, it's up to you what you're going to do..."

"If you just want to et him, then why are you going to bring with you?" The Greed Spirit asked seriously as he narrowed his eyes towards the lady suspiciously.

"Is it enough for you if I tell you that I ca from the other Sinland?!" The beautiful lady wasn't patient at all.

"Oh? A trespasser..." The Greed Spirit was a little surprised upon hearing it. He then shook his head slowly as he continued, "It really is troubleso if you don't have my help."

"Yes, without any Greed Energy, this place may reject sooner or later. And only soone like you, who has an abundant amount of Greed Energy, can help ." The beautiful lady responded seriously.

In this world, no, in this place they called Sinland, a place for humanity, seven lands were bearing the na of seven deadly sins with them. And each land rejects each other for so reason. Not only that, each land rejects every outsider. And that was the only reason why humanity had still had a safe haven to enjoy.

Other forces couldn't conquer the land because once they entered, and didn't have the corresponding Sin Energy, they would only found themselves being kicked out from the land not long after they entered. If not for this fact, humanity would have perished a long ti ago.

The beautiful lady knew this fact well. She had only managed to enter this land because of so sacrifices. And she knew well that it wouldn't last for too long. If later on, this place started to reject her, how could she still et the Vessel? That being said, she really needed the help of Greed Spirit to supply her the Greed Energy she needed.

"Then what will I have in return?" Greed Spirit grinned. If the other party needed his help then surely, the other party should have understood that he wasn't working for free, right?

And of course, the beautiful lady wasn't oblivious to this. And she had prepared for this a long ti ago. So after a mont of pause, she responded, "Greed Stone."

"G-greed Stone?" Greed Spirit repeated those words in agitation. But of course, he still managed to calm himself down as he asked, "How can I be sure that you have this item?"

Greed Spirit didn't receive a reply but instead, a hologram screen popped out in front of his face. A window notification was displayed. It was a Trade Request.

[Trade Request]

Accept a trade request from 'Unknown'?

Yes | No

Greed Spirit was a bit surprised before he said inwardly, "Yes." After which, a new window popped out. Two inventories with empty slots were displayed. One was on the left side and the other one was on the right side. Greed Spirit's na was on the upper part of the left side, it could be said that that was his inventory.

After a few monts, an item appeared in the free slot on the right side. It was an icon of a red stone. When Greed Spirit saw this, his eyes got widened. He didn't need to read the white letters written under the icon for he already recognized this item in just one glance. It was indeed a Greed Stone.

After a few monts, the inventory on the right side had vanished and a new window popped out.

['Unknown' canceled the trade request.]

"..." Greed Spirit stared at the screen in disappointnt. It appeared that the other party knew about his ability to steal other's trade items. If not for the fact that his skill needed so ti to work, he might already have stolen that Greed Stone.

Greed Spirit then sighed as he had also dismissed the Trade Request since he was now all alone there. After exiting the window, he dismissed the System as well and shifted his gaze to the beautiful girl. After a mont, he sent her another telepathic ssage, "Fine then. I will agree to your request."

The beautiful girl only smiled as if she already had expected that this would happen. After all, no one sane in the world would still reject her request if she put the Greed Stone as a reward.

On the other hand, while they were still chatting telepathically, Dan's party was in a panic. Even after all the argunts they had done in the past few minutes, they still couldn't find an answer on how to deal with this predicant they were currently facing.

Helpless, Dan could only speak towards the other party, "We don't have that kind of money. We can't accept this bet."

It was at this mont that the beautiful lady and the Greed Spirit finished talking with each other. Hearing that the other party couldn't make up for the bet, Greed Spirit smiled. Well, he had already expected that the other party would fail to match his bet. After all, it was 1 million diamonds. Even he himself didn't have that kind of money.

"All the possessions that all of you have now in your inventory will do." Greed Spirit replied excitedly as if he already had won the match.

Everyone in Dan's party frowned but after so thought, they still agreed. After all, even if they sum up their current possession in their inventory, it would be far from enough compared to the 1 million diamonds betted by the other party.

It was just that, lady Stella wasn't the other party's possession in the first place. If they won, the other party wouldn't lose anything. But if they lose, they would surely suffer. This fight was definitely unfavorable for them in the first place no matter from which angle they looked.

Dan's party was just swearing in their heart that after they've won the match, they would definitely hunt down the other party to the ends of the earth. Charlotte Family would never let them off.

Dan's party made sure to themselves that they would never forget every face of the other party. It was curved deep in their mind that even if many years would pass, they would certainly not forget them.

"Bet accepted!"

So then, the War Fairy finally spoke from above. Even after few minutes of waiting, her grin didn't leave her. As if she was programd that way.

"Both parties get ready!" The War Fairy's warm yet chilling voice sounded yet again. And as everyone had expected to hear, the always similar dialogue ca out from the War Fairy's mouth, "Individual, group, or team competition?! It's all up to you what you want to do. This is a death match. The party who has a mber that remains standing will get the price."

There was a mont of pause before the War Fairy speak again with an ear-to-ear grin, "Let's spread blood into this world."
