At the center sat a circular platform with twelve witness slots, each one reserved for a different kind of echo:

Drafted-but-deleted personalities.
And for the first ti, the court would hear a testimony.
From soone who had never been allowed to speak.
Seria stood beside the witness platform, hand clenched tight around her sword.
Across from her?
Herself.
Version 1.2 Seria.
Black armor. Red eyes. Cold, calculating, and brutal.
Known in lost history as Seria the Iron Fla.
The version created during the Tyrant Rewrite—used to enforce obedience, stripped of emotion.
This Seria had been erased before Riven reset the system.
And yet, here she stood again.
Alive.
Real.
And ready to testify.
Lysara, now High Arbiter of the Echo Court, addressed both versions.
"This trial is not about guilt. It is about identity. Two versions. One legacy. Only one will remain as canonical."
Aren and Kairen sat in the upper gallery.

So trembling under Iron Fla’s gaze.
Others placing their hands over their hearts near the current Seria.

So did fear.
Aren whispered, "Which one will the system choose?"
Lysara’s voice filled the hall.
"Let the echo mory decide."
She raised her hand.

He looked at her.
She said nothing.
And for the first ti since arriving at Valkyrion, Aren felt unprepared.
Because he didn’t know what version of himself would stand across the court.
