The Lycanroc leader also looked anxious, but their entire species didn't have much experience with planting.

As carnivores, they had very few opportunities to eat berries. Whenever they were hungry, they would hunt for at. They only ate berries when absolutely necessary.

Moreover, Lycanroc were a dium-sized species with a relatively clear division of labor, so they could naturally obtain more food.

Sotis when they were lucky, they would get extra food, which they would store carefully.

This ant even fewer opportunities to eat berries, let alone plant trees.

Roy couldn't bear to watch and took the berry tree sapling from one of the Lycanroc's paws.

After the water in the bucket soaked into the soil in the pit, he seized the opportunity to place the roots wrapped in mud into the hole.

Then he filled in the surrounding soil, tamped it down at the end, and poured another bucket of water.

The Lycanroc weren't slow learners. After seeing Roy's demonstration, they suddenly understood and all picked up tools to start planting trees.

Although so of the Lycanroc made small mistakes, fortunately, the saplings were successfully planted in Lycanroc territory.

Since then, Roy had forged a good relationship with the Lycanroc.

Roy also took this opportunity to ask the Lycanroc leader if they could help his Pokémon train through battle.

This would help his Pokémon find mutual coordination in battle more quickly.

This was also an opportunity for the Lycanroc to improve, not to ntion building a good relationship with soone of Roy's standing. The Lycanroc leader naturally agreed.

It was only now that Roy had completed the task he most wanted to accomplish.

Regarding the thod of training the entire team's coordination, he felt he had made a breakthrough.

It seed there would be another addition to the Pokémon's daily training schedule.

Lucario felt nothing—it was just a bit more fighting ti each day.

Lucario flexed its arm.

"You'll get rusty if you don't move every day."

Salance looked at its big brother's handso pose, eyes staring straight ahead with admiration.

Blastoise thought: "I've clearly backed the wrong horse here."

Roy was amused by the sight.

"You sure do love showing off, kid."

Lucario blushed in embarrassnt and returned to its reliable, calm deanor.

Roy was delighted to see Lucario's sudden change of expression. "It's okay, that's what young Pokémon are like."

Lucario blushed even more at Roy's words, scratched its head, and ran off.

Roy patted Salance's head and laughed, feeling unprecedentedly happy.

Dogs really are humanity's best friends.

When the sun rose from the horizon again, there were already one or two Lycanroc strolling around the geyser.

These Lycanroc had originally planned to go hunting today, but considering this was their first ti battling with everyone, they were so excited they couldn't sleep.

So they tead up and wandered to the beach to fish.

After eating, they could catch up with the other Lycanroc and participate in the 3v3 battles together.

Yes, Roy had decided from the very beginning on three-on-three battles. If the initial results were good, he would then determine whether there was a need to increase the number of participants.

Even with just three Pokémon rotating with each other, there were quite a few combinations to arrange.

If everyone battled at once, it was very likely they wouldn't be able to keep track of everything.

The chaos would make it easier for Pokémon to lose sight of their targets.

Roy's Pokémon had finished their morning routine. They had heard about this yesterday and were all a bit excited.

Of course, the most excited one was Electivire, who had never found a proper battle opportunity.

Electivire raised its fist and declared a very dramatic line.

"My fists are thirsting for battle!"

As soon as those words ca out, the Pokémon who had been tidying themselves up froze.

Even Blastoise was completely stunned.

Blastoise tilted its head to look at Electivire. "Are you serious?"

The awkward atmosphere made Electivire feel a bit uneasy.

"Wh-what's wrong?"

Lucario, still the big brother, tried to adjust its expression so it wouldn't look too distorted.

Lucario was busy controlling its facial expression as it placed a paw on Electivire's shoulder and said, "It's nothing. You just seem a little more excited than usual today."

"Everyone's just a bit surprised, that's all."

Clearly, Lucario's consolation had the right effect.

Lucario's words made Electivire find its confidence again. It clenched its fists, its face full of excitent.

It said another dramatic quote: "I've been waiting for this mont for a long ti!"

The other Pokémon hurriedly found various excuses to leave in order not to hurt Electivire's pride.

This ti even Lucario quickly said it was going to check on how Roy and the Lycanroc were doing.

Lucario made a rare hasty escape.

Blastoise squatted in what it thought was a relatively secluded spot, covering its mouth with both paws, its expression sowhat distorted.

Even so, muffled sounds of laughter kept escaping.

Soon there were no other Pokémon around Electivire.

Electivire looked at Blastoise with its back turned and asked curiously, "What's wrong with you? Do you want to take you to Tapu Lele?"

Apparently Electivire was completely unaware of its problem and instead thought Blastoise wasn't feeling well.

Electivire's words gave Blastoise an excuse to leave quickly.

Blastoise kept its back to Electivire and nodded frantically, but just wouldn't turn to face it.

"Ah, yes, yes, yes!"

After saying this, Blastoise hurried away.

Blastoise thought: "I was wrong. I shouldn't have let it watch TV."

Blastoise thought: "What goes around cos around."

Suddenly, only Electivire remained in the area.

Electivire scratched its head. "Everyone's acting really weird today..."

Just then, Roy's voice ca from near the geyser.

"Electivire, co on! You'll go first today."

Electivire's eyes lit up when it heard Roy's words, and it ran toward the geyser on its short legs.

"I had a feeling I'd be first to battle today!"

Electivire muttered to itself, electricity crackling around its body, looking very excited.

When Electivire arrived, it found that its teammates were Ninetales and Mimikyu.

Seeing this configuration made things difficult for Electivire.
