The individual battle was over.

Capital University had achieved a decisive victory.

These two lines announcing the results on the arena's big screen sent everyone into excitent, with heated discussions throughout the stadium and online lasting for hours...

After Roy returned to the team room, he saw the stunned faces of his four teammates.

Elon took a deep breath and said in disbelief: "You really did it!"

Patrick shouted in an exaggerated tone: "Brother, you're absolutely godlike!"

Hearing this, Philip clasped his hands together, bowed down with a pious and solemn expression.

Anya held Cosmog in both hands, tears blurring the corners of her eyes as she smiled softly: "That was amazing, junior."

"Pew!"

Cosmog jumped happily onto Roy's shoulder.

Roy grinned and, without false modesty, asked: "Is there any water?"

"Yes, yes, yes!" Philip imdiately picked up a bottle of energy drink and offered it to Roy with both hands, respectfully.

"Stop fooling around," Roy said helplessly, taking the energy drink and downing it completely. Only then did his teammates notice the exhausted look on Roy's face.

After the four team mbers exchanged glances, Anya asked worriedly:

"Junior, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just a little tired." Roy waved his hand. The Z-Move's burden was too heavy. After more than ten days of practice, Roy no longer fainted on the spot, but could still only use it once per day.

Considering the team battle that evening, he planned to secretly use a Max Revive when no one was around.

Seeing that Elon, Anya, and the others were still worried, Roy added:

"It's the cost of using that move—Shattered Psyche."

Speaking of this, Patrick's eyes lit up as he asked curiously: "What level of technique is that?"

Philip rolled his eyes at him irritably and said: "Obviously, that power goes beyond normal techniques."

Innovations based on original moves, or new skills created from nothing, were collectively called "self-created moves."

Self-created moves were commonly known as "techniques" because they were personal property.

Techniques weren't necessarily stronger than original moves, but had unique capabilities. Like original moves, techniques were also divided into levels:

Basic, Advanced, Master, Transcendent.

Comparable to basic moves like Quick Attack and Fire Punch were called basic techniques.

Equivalent to advanced moves like Brick Break and Agility were called advanced techniques. Lucario's earliest "Thunder Body Tempering" was at this level.

Techniques that could compete with ultimate moves like Fire Blast, Blizzard, and Draco teor were called master techniques. Trainers who could create master techniques could establish dojos, recruit disciples, and create their own schools. Once the strength of this school was officially recognized by the Pokemon League, the dojo would directly rise to "Gym" status.

Founding a school and establishing a sect earned the title of "Master."

The famous "Grassy Terrain Variation" by the Capital's local Grass-type Gym Leader was a master technique.

The "Sleep Combat" technique, predecessor to Electabuzz's mastered "Battle Continuation," was also at this level.

Finally, there were techniques that surpassed all original moves.

How much they exceeded original moves varied by individual and couldn't be quantified. Therefore, all techniques beyond originals were collectively called "transcendent techniques."

The "Aura Boxing" taught by the Fighting Elite and the "Lightning Armor" created by Electabuzz's Final Gambit were both transcendent techniques.

In the world's eyes, Totem Aura also belonged to Roy's self-created moves at this level.

Every transcendent technique could serve as an Elite Trainer's trump card. The level was extrely high with harsh acquisition requirents. In past national college leagues, any player who mastered "transcendent techniques" could beco a highly competitive celebrity player.

Having three transcendent techniques simultaneously was why Roy was invincible among his peers.

But no transcendent technique had ever given a non-professional Pokemon the terrifying explosive power to instantly defeat professional-level opponents like Shattered Psyche!

The power was incredible!

Although it had weaknesses like slow execution and heavy burden, in terms of pure power alone, it deserved the title of strongest.

At that mont, noise ca from outside the contestants' area. Elon frowned and said, "I'll go check," before leaving the room.

Soon after returning, he said helplessly: "It's reporters wanting to interview you, but security stopped them... Really, they didn't even follow the rules."

Before gas completely ended, no one was allowed to interfere with players.

Unlike celebrities in the entertainnt industry, Trainers held very high status. Everyone was a walking weapon. Although laws controlled them, truly angering a Trainer could easily result in ordinary people dying mysteriously.

Normally, reporters were very disciplined and didn't dare offend interviewees at all.

But this ti, they'd forgotten the rules montarily.

This showed how much the technique called "Shattered Psyche" had shocked the world.

dia had the keenest instincts and were very aware of the enthusiasm and interests involved, willing to take huge risks to break rules.

"There are security guards—if they can't get in, let's just ignore them," Roy smiled slightly. He'd already thought about what outside dia would say, but that could wait until after the gas ended.

The focus now was the team battle that evening.

If the team battle was lost, both sides would get one point each. Stonecrest University and Capital University, both having won their way here, would have identical scores.

To determine the winner, the ga would enter "overti."

That was undoubtedly sothing Roy didn't want to see.

"Team battles are the sa as individual battles—let face Jaxon one-on-one," Roy smiled slightly.

"Please help , seniors."

"Don't say that." Elon patted his shoulder and smiled: "Winning isn't about you alone. You perford so brilliantly—how could we teammates hold you back?"

"Betting on our dignity as trainers, I'll prepare the victory stage for you."

Elon was full of fighting spirit, showing rare excitent.

"Just like your Electabuzz!"

Roy said he was fired up by their enthusiasm.

Senior, you really shouldn't say "betting on dignity"—that's a classic defeat flag!

He teased internally, but seeing his four teammates' high fighting spirit, Roy couldn't help smiling softly:

"I'll win."

"Yeah!"

All four nodded in unison.

The last ti Roy said this, they'd been skeptical, mostly pessimistic, treating it like a last desperate hope.

But this ti, everyone's eyes were full of hope, with no doubt that Roy could defeat Jaxon in the final round.
