'Yet here I am…'

*Sigh*

Colt had always been on guard against the lot of them. But today, Colt had dispersed that protection for aiding the envoy for a smooth entry to his place. His aim was clear. He was prepared to recede to his request.

'Not anymore. They are the only card I can play. My last string of hope.'

Colt smiled.

"I understand, but first I would like to hear on the details."

"Good"

The man nodded thinking that the Ackerman in front of him was quite quick to fall. He had been prepared to die the mont he set foot inside the infirmary but things weren't looking as bad.

"We plan to capture them, but its quite a pity that things are not working out for us as planned. If we have got to do this we have to isolate them from the rcenaries and pin point their locations. It is for this very reason that we need your help."

"Ha Ha, and here I thought you guys were planning so kind of hijack operation. Truly I am disappointed. You only have a big mouth."

Colt shook his head in disappointnt.

'So, this wasn't going to work out after all.'

He was expecting too much when he had hoped to fix his future with a bunch of hooligans.

But contrary to his expectations the man reached out his hand and removed his mask. With his mask no longer on him his confident smile that was ever present on his face was passed onto Colt's eyes causing him to shut his laughter.

Colt's pupils shook.

'I don't know him after all.'

Being the young master of the Ackermans whose connections were as vast as the sea Colt couldn't help but be aware of many figure heads. But the man in front of him was a complete mystery.

But his actions were even more mysterious.

Colt could only stare in a daze at the man. Why the man not hiding his identity? The thought itself bothered Colt.

The man broke off the silence by continuing.

"We don't work that way Colt Ackerman. Gozoto's forces are not to be trifled with. If we fight head on it will be a complete wipe out. Even though that was indeed a plan we had originally tried to go through."

'Plan? Why don't I know about this?'

"So what happened?"

"Hmm we had placed hordes of our spies among his n. But he sohow figured out all of them and killed them. With no pawns set up and no way to track his movents a head on battle would be a suicide. We might be able to match him in strength but it would be only a matter of ti before reinforcent from the human society of hell arrives here."

The man clenched his fist as he continued.

"I underestimated the unity that he and his n shared. Our assumption that they were just independent rcenaries were proven wrong. And this is just one of the many pieces of evidence that we have collected so far. There is definitely sothing deeper going on between them but that's currently unimportant for our current mission."

"Is that so…"

Colt had gained an unusual piece of information. Weren't the pack of rcenaries always united with weak bonds only? They should be stranger to each other. Yet Gozoto seed to be knowing his n quite well.

The man nodded.

"So we would be expecting your cooperation. Our goal is to capture as many of the targets as possible before the first alarm of danger rings. Needless to say your role is the most crucial one. Fret not for you would be handsoly rewarded for the sa."

"But why now?"

"The ti is ripe. This year would be just the perfect to carry out this and it would eventually bring about the destruction of this place."

The second gen being targeted wouldn't only lead the group to huge gains but it would bring about the destruction of the camp as well. With the top guilds losing trust in the camp how could the camp survive any more. It seed that the destruction of such a camp was sohow profitable for them.

But was that all?

'Would it only stop at the camp? I wonder,' Colt thought.

It was a matter that neither he nor the man wanted to discuss. The destruction of the camp would have been but a small matter not affecting the lives of humans in hell. But that was hardly the case. Such an incident if handled badly would cause the whole of humanity to burn in hellish fires. It could shake the very foundations of hell.

'But why? What are they aiming to achieve?' Colt thought.

Colt himself wanted to gain back his forr glory. But there were simply no limits to what his partners could achieve from such a mission. Where would they stop? How much destruction would they cause? Such questions were yet unanswered.

He needed to properly access what their motives were before striking the deal with the devil. But alas, he knew nothing of it.

"But why ? There were many others. You could have asked them. What makes you believe that I would be helping you at all?"

Colt tilted his head. The man nodded as he continued.

"Mr Benton holds the most influence among all of you here, but his late master was one of the founders of this place. He still has attachnts to it despite his hatred for it. He could be an obstruction to us."

"Honestly since then this place had been but a nuisance, we certainly would like to destroy it and you are the best and strongest among all of them after Benton for executing this. That is why we had approached you."

"Also…"

Colt tilted his head.

"Also?"

"We knew that you would have easily agreed to it."
