That night it was as if sleeping had beco a sin for him. He could only circle around the room as he basked in his worry. From ti to ti he clicked his tongue at his inability to make heads or tails of the situation.
'Who was it? I shouldn't have any enemies since I have just arrived!'
Klautz wasn't awake because he suspected another attack. This kind of attack always follows a rule. It can only happen once a night. So he wasn't worried about keeping his guard up and staying awake.
Rather he couldn't sleep because he was thinking hard about who the attacker might be. And before he knew it, the sun peeked above the horizon showing its face. The whole sky was died in an orange hue.
It wasn't 6 a.m. yet so everyone had all the ti to freshen themselves up. Klautz, who hadn't even slept for a mont, was the first one to access the bathing quarters.
None of the others had woken up yet. The sun hadn't even risen past the horizon. There was a deathly stillness at the bathing quarters with all the empty stumps and taps.
He got closer and sat on a stump and opened the tap for the bucket to fill up. He sat holding onto his chin lost in deep thought. The whole night wasn't enough for him to give up.
'Who was it?'
Klautz frowned. He was irate. He hates it when an unknown variable shows up out of nowhere.
In his past life, he would have not cared for unknown attackers. He wouldn't have cared even if there was a threat to his life. He was a ninja and 'Death' was just another nick for 'Life'. His missions were more important than his life.
But in this life? Neither was he on a mission nor could he afford to die. He was the only man having any chance at changing the future.
Klautz poured the water on his body. The water tickled washing away all the dirt and remnants of wounds.
*Splash*
That is when so other n ca in as well. Ronald had given everyone a detailed explanation of the chanics of this building since they would be staying here for quite so ti.
'Was it a ninja?' Klautz thought. Whenever there is an assasination attempt, the first suspects are always the ninja.
But Klautz shook his head.
'A ninja would have aid for my throat rather than being unable to see at night and checking out the wrong place.'
That was the only explanation Klautz could give as to why soone would reach out to his crotch in such a manner.
In fact, the way the attacker was going about before being caught was also quite unusual. She was walking tiptoed which was unlike how a ninja walks when sneaking in. A ninja's steps are naturally quiet, they don't need to tiptoe to make them quieter.
Having a bath after days being covered in dirt, Kluatz finally went and bought so potions for himself.
'No more relying on dical herbs. These alchemical products are the real deal!'
Klautz always wanted to use this stuff in his previous life but never had the chance. Klautz could never figure out why ninjas were forbidden from using potions. If at all it would have aided them in their missions.
Klautz shrugged.
'Maybe it is a cultural thing. Who knows?'
Now that he is no longer a ninja he uses them. Seeing them he couldn't help but have his eyes glitter. Even the gold had failed to make him so excited than these.
"100 gold for a Stamina potion"
"Give four," Klautz instructed.
The man nodded and gave Klautz 4 vials of potion which Klautz placed in his inventory.
"There is still so ti before the clock hits six. Maybe I should check the others out."

Selena was fast asleep in her room as she took turns to hide her face from the rays of the rising sun. A girl in yukata approached her slowly but steadily. And jerked her whole body awake.
"Big Sis! Big Sis! Wake up or we would be late!" Shizu tried her best to wake up Selena as her yukata was dangling to the side. It had slipped down revealing her petite shoulder.
"Ummm…" Selena rubbed her eyes.
As her vision cleared Shizu greeted her face with a bright smile showing off her white teeth. "Good morning," she wished her.
"What!" Selena squeaked and moved away in fright. Before she realized she fell off from her bed.
*thud*
Shizu could only tilt her head in confusion.
Selena looked around the room and then back at Shizu and then sighed a breath of relief as she held onto her fast beating heart. Seeing Shizu the first thing in the morning had caught her off guard.
She had grown more used to Klautz's presence than she had ever thought! Waking up and seeing his face had beco her daily routine.
'Oh yeah. She joined in last night,' Selena thought.
Last night, Shizu ca to her room out of nowhere. She was indeed expecting a roommate but not her.
Shizu claid that she had got the sa number as her. While Selena had her suspicions she didn't argue knowing that it could get her into trouble. She could only smile wryly at her.
Selena took a deep breath to calm herself down.
"Sorry, I was kind of surprised all of a sudden. That's why…"
Shizu bead. Her previous confused expression vaporized in the air. It was as if she believed every word that Selena spoke!
"No problem!" Shizu gave Selena a thumbs up.
Suddenly her face turned dark.
"We should be getting going! Or else we would be late!" She scread.
"Ah yes…"
Selena got up dusting herself.
'I have undies to buy.'
