Roa was always selective when choosing his reincarnation hosts, and no one understood this better than Ciel.

Before the unforeseen incident with Ciel, Roa would typically choose children from noble and wealthy families as his reincarnation hosts. If they had special abilities or non-human bloodlines, all the better.

The reason for choosing children was simple: their minds were not fully developed and were easier to take over than those of adults. The other criteria ensured that the host had the strength required—true power cos from both body and soul and lacking in either would severely diminish one's capabilities.

Even though Roa, with the power he gained from Arcueid, had elevated his soul to a higher dinsion, if he reincarnated into an ordinary human, he wouldn't be able to exert more than ten percent of his potential power.

"Although there was a lot of coincidence in my reincarnation into Kotomine Kirei, I still have to thank you, my daughter Elesia. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have deviated from my usual principles to try sothing new, and I wouldn't have encountered such an understanding and supportive person who helped to elevate my soul to an even higher dinsion."

Hearing Roa's words, Ciel was visibly shaken. She knew he was an enemy, and his words couldn't be trusted, but the ironclad truth still weighed on her heart.

Could it be my fault?

Is this truly my sin?

Seeing Ciel in such turmoil, Roa's smile grew even more delighted.

At that mont, Caren spoke up.

"Don't pay attention to his words, Lady Ciel. No matter what he says, our task remains unchanged—destroy his body and soul."

Her voice was cold and hollow, yet it dispelled the darkness clouding Ciel's heart.

That's right. No matter what led to all of this, it doesn't change the cris committed by Roa and Kotomine Kirei. The rest can be dealt with after they're defeated.

"Let's go, Caren!"

Ciel's body surged with magical energy, lighting up the magical circuits that ran throughout her body.

"Yes, Lady Ciel!"

Caren let the demonic aura engulf her, allowing herself to be completely tainted by the darkness.

Despite being firmly locked onto by the two, Roa remained calm. He hooked his thumb around his dagger and curled the remaining four fingers.

"Good, good, now you're finally showing so spirit. Co on, my daughters."

As soon as he finished speaking, Roa's body disappeared from where it stood, instantly crossing a distance of five ters.

Seeing this, Caren quickly clenched her right hand in mid-air. The dark aura that covered her entire body coalesced into a whip over ten ters long, which she lashed out with forcefully. At the sa ti, she warned Ciel.

"Be careful!."

Ciel nodded slightly, unfazed. The mories in her mind that didn't belong to her had long told her that this immortal vampire would absorb all the knowledge the reincarnated body had learned, adding it to his own. Another martial art was one of Kotomine Kirei's specialties was no big deal.

And she had already learned how to deal with martial arts experts like him during her hellish training under Narbareck. She was caught off guard by Araya Souren earlier and didn't have ti to use her techniques, but now she finally had the chance.

The blue crosses on her shoulders lit up, and new pages appeared around Ciel. Each page was a Black Key, and a rough count revealed more than fifty of them.

Ciel waved both hands in quick succession, and the Black Keys shot out like a barrage of crossbow bolts. This was the Burial Agency's secret technique—Black Key: Condemnation!

The Condemnation technique has three stages: the First Sigil, the Second Sigil, and the Third Sigil, each faster and more nurous than the last.

Roa had just evaded Caren's demonic aura when he found himself surrounded by a dense barrage of Black Keys. Due to their sheer number, wide coverage, and high density, Kotomine Kirei's technique was greatly suppressed, making it difficult to execute.

However, Kotomine Kirei was an outstanding Executor. After Roa awakened, his body gradually transford into that of a vampire due to Roa's influence, becoming even more formidable. Although Ciel's Condemnation was powerful, it could only slow him down; it couldn't inflict significant damage.

He either blocked and shattered the Black Keys with his dagger or made precise, muscle-controlling movents that seed impossible to ordinary people, narrowly dodging the piercing barrage. In the brief intervals between waves, he even had the energy to catch one or two Black Keys and throw them back—after all, Kotomine Kirei was also a master of using Black Keys.

Despite the limited success of her Condemnation, Ciel didn't panic. Having a profound understanding of Roa's terrifying nature, she never expected to take him down so easily.

As soon as the Third Sigil was released, Ciel suddenly clenched her empty left hand. The Black Keys that Roa had dodged or knocked aside all sparked with flashes of lightning and exploded.

The blades of the Black Keys were originally ford by condensed magical energy, and from the mont they were thrown, Ciel had secretly set a technique that would cause the magical energy to explode all at once. The effect of a single Black Key's explosion was weak and negligible, but the combined explosion of over fifty Black Keys was formidable. This was another secret technique Ciel had learned from the Burial Agency and one of its signature moves—Black Key: Burial!

But it wasn't over yet. After the Burial, Ciel pressed her hand against the ground, unleashing an unprecedented surge of magical energy from her body, akin to a volcanic eruption—no, it wasn't just like a volcanic eruption; it was a real volcanic eruption. As soon as the magical energy left her body, it transford into flas, lting the ground and creating a lava-like effect. This was one of Ciel's hidden trump cards, the ultimate output of the Funeral Pyre Ritual, a true grand magecraft.

While Ciel was going all out, Caren didn't stay idle either. She continuously unleashed her demonic power to complent her companion's attacks.

Shortly after Ciel left the Land Winup, rem Solomon awakened the dormant Caren, sending her to support Ciel and replenishing her demonic power. Therefore, Caren did not need to worry about overexerting herself; she could release her power without restraint to annihilate their common enemy, Roa—the current reincarnation, Kotomine Kirei.

Crimson flas, flowing lava, explosive magical light, and an overwhelming aura of darkness all converged upon Roa and the ground surrounding him. The power contained within was not only comparable to modern large-scale military weaponry in terms of destructive capability but also imbued with intense mystic energy. Even a Dead Apostle of the Twenty-Seven Ancestors' caliber would be gravely injured by such an attack.

However, neither of the two who unleashed this powerful assault showed any signs of joy, because inflicting serious damage on the enemy had one crucial prerequisite—it had to hit him. An attack that misses causes no harm.

At the center of the scene, where red, white, and black colors blended into a chaotic canvas, a strand of golden light suddenly burst forth. This gold was deeper than the gold favored by the Church, yet it bore the sa majesty. This golden light first dispelled the dark demonic power, then deflected the white light of the Black Key, Burial, and finally carved out a clean area amidst the surrounding lava.

The man who commanded this sanctuary was none other than the bounded field master who had saved Roa from danger multiple tis—Araya Souren!
