Chapter 21: Chop Off Your Hand
Pursing his thin lips into a straight line, Pei Mingchen composed a text ssage and sent it.
Mu Qiannian changed into her clothes and ca out. Pei Mingchen imdiately locked his phone screen and switched to a safe identity.
Mu Qiannian sat down beside him. The atmosphere between the two of them was inexplicably quiet.
Pei Mingchen took the initiative to approach her and put his arm around Mu Qiannian’s shoulder. “Um, can you think about it carefully and not reject without thinking about it, okay?”
Mu Qiannian did not confirm and only nodded.
Actually, she was also very conflicted. She did not mind being with Pei Mingchen, but it was just not the right ti yet.

Pei Mingchen did not notice anything wrong. He nodded his head and looked back at the screen.
Mu Qiannian turned on her phone in the toilet and opened the dialog box for Eighth Brother.
“Boss, the big boss of Intelligent Technology has invited you to discuss a collaboration. Do you want to accept the invitation?”
Mu Qiannian frowned.
Intelligent Technology?
Intelligent technology was a group with a rather strong background. Although it appeared to be doing electronic technology, there were countless industrial chains behind it.
However, if it really was the boss of Intelligent Technology, it seed like she had to et him because she happened to have thoughts about a troubleso piece of land.
However, Pei Mingchen had been too attached to her recently. If she proposed to leave now, would there be no way for her to leave?
Should she coax him later or make up a reason?
Anyway, although Pei Mingchen liked to stick to her, if it was a serious matter, he would not pester her.
“Alright, get the location and ti. I’ll be there on ti.”
Eighth Brother imdiately sent, “Got it.”
After coming out of the toilet, Mu Qiannian returned to her seat with an uncertain expression and accompanied him to watch the entire movie.
When the ssage was sent, Mu Qiannian turned on the silent mode when she ca out of the toilet.
She opened the dialog box. The ti was 6:30 pm. It was in a private room in a hotel next to the Myriad Kingdom tropolis.
When night fell, Mu Qiannian ca out of her room with a surprised look on her face as she held her phone. “I have a business partner who suddenly invited out. I might not be able to have dinner with you tonight.”
Pei Mingchen was stunned as he sat on the sofa.
Just a mont ago, he had been thinking of using so excuse to escape. He had not expected that he would be presented with a good opportunity this ti around.
He turned his head around without batting an eyelid. “What an annoying business partner. I can’t even have dinner with you anymore.”
Mu Qiannian also replied without batting an eyelid, “That’s right. However, I can’t turn down an offer that cos my way, so I have to prepare for my departure.”
Pei Mingchen was very obedient. After Mu Qiannian left, he looked at the ti on his phone.
Just in ti.
He waited at the hotel for a while before he got up and left.
Mu Qiannian drove to a coffee shop. Eighth Brother was already waiting there.
Eighth Brother handed over his boss’s equipnt. “Everything is here. Boss, you can change first. The car is waiting for you outside.”
Mu Qiannian nodded. She took the clothes and rushed to the bathroom of the coffee shop.
It was almost rush hour. If she did not hurry, she would be late and might even be stuck on the road.
After changing quickly, Mu Qiannian got into the car under the cover of Eighth Brother and drove all the way to the agreed place.
Mu Qiannian arrived at the reserved private room, but the boss of Intelligent Technology had not arrived yet.
Just as she sat down, she caught a glimpse of the decorative screen not far away.
It seed that God was helping her. Eighth Brother did not co up, but a familiar but reliable underling ca up.
“You, move that screen over here and put it here.”
Mu Qiannian used the screen and moved a chair to separate the reception area.
She sat on one side of the screen while the boss of Intelligent Technology sat on the other side.
Double protection.
Not long after they sat down, Pei Mingchen arrived.
His face was covered with a mask, and his decent suit displayed his figure to the extre.
When Pei Mingchen entered, he saw a sudden screen and instantly understood the use of the screen.
He sneered. “Are you ashad of yourself?”
Mu Qiannian, who was on the other side of the screen, froze and said coldly.
“If you have sothing to say, just say it.”
Pei Mingchen sat down on the sofa opposite the screen, his gaze fixed on the figure on of the screen.
“Do you always talk like this when you talk about cooperation?”
Mu Qiannian chuckled. “Under special circumstances, there has to be special treatnt. If you have anything you want to know or ask, just say it. You don’t have to worry about all the ti.”
Pei Mingchen’s face was dark. Why were all the difficult people he t recently act so mysteriously? This made him very unhappy.
“Who are you exactly? Why are you so mysterious?”Pei Mingchen did not talk about anything else. He only wanted to investigate this mysterious person.
However, Mu Qiannian would not let Pei Mingchen get his way.
His repeated questioning was also excessive. Mu Qiannian’s originally gentle voice turned cold.
“Sir, I took the ti to see you because I think highly of the Intelligent Technology behind you. Don’t push your luck.”
Both parties fell silent. Pei Mingchen furrowed his brows and stared at the screen unkindly.

Mu Qiannian instantly understood what he ant by the impossible.

Mu Qiannian asked, “Are you teaching how to do things?”
Pei Mingchen was not weak either. “Yes, don’t extend your hand again. I don’t recomnd letting chop it off for you.”

Mu Qiannian was very disdainful when she heard that. “Your verbal skills are not bad, but do you think you have the ability to do that?”
“Moreover, I have a lot of projects on my hands. I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”
Pei Mingchen looked away and the atmosphere around him was gloomy and cold. “What a woman who doesn’t know the imnsity of Heaven and Earth!”
Mu Qiannian was unwilling to be outdone. “What an arrogant and proud man!”
When Pei Mingchen saw that he could not continue the conversation with her, Mu Qiannian took a step back magnanimously.
“I know what you’re angry about, sir. It’s just that everyone has their own difficulties. I understand you, and I hope that you can understand too.”
Pei Mingchen remained silent. He had his own plan.
Mu Qiannian took the initiative to speak, “Since you ca to , you must know that I’m working on a land project. Now, I have a chance to cooperate with you. I wonder if you are willing to cooperate.”
Pei Mingchen said coldly, “Tell .”
“The land by the river has been rebuilt, and the country has suffered a great loss as a result. I want to take over that land.”
Pei Mingchen snorted. “I just warned you not to touch that land.”
