Raina was silent for a mont, then recounted what happened at the hospital today.

Elias said, "I’m afraid Mrs. North won’t agree to kneel and beg you to operate on Grandpa."

Raina wasn’t surprised at all and said calmly, "Brenda sees as a curse and hates to the core, so how could she possibly kneel and beg ? The only reason I agreed was just to disgust her. Besides, that is the grandfather who has protected all these years; I can’t possibly ignore him."
