Before Gu Siyu could speak, Shen Heyu had already contemplated various responses in her mind, but she had never imagined that the outco would turn out to be the worst possible one.
“Are you sure that the owner of the car is Chen Wenzhou? Could there be so kind of misunderstanding in this matter?”
Shen Heyu sought confirmation from Gu Siyu once more. If Chen Wenzhou was indeed connected to this matter, then things were bound to beco complicated.
Gu Siyu nodded silently; he had not been mistaken—the information Hu Xiaoqiu had found confird that the owner of the car was Chen Wenzhou.
Shen Heyu took a deep breath. If Chen Wenzhou was also involved, it probably wasn’t a re coincidence.
“The day I suddenly saw Song Miaoyu falling from the building, I was quite shocked, especially since I was also worried about Yuexue at the ti. So, I didn’t look too closely.”
“I didn’t want to admit that the person who fell that day was Song Miaoyu, but the reality was right in front of , forcing to face it and to persuade you to accept the truth.”
“However, now that you’re saying the person who fell might not have been Song Miaoyu, and might have been an act, and today you’ve encountered a woman who looks very similar to Song Miaoyu, there could indeed be so conspiracy at play.”
Shen Heyu looked at Gu Siyu, waiting for him to make a firm decision.
She had driven the car chasing after that woman, trying to get Gu Siyu to confirm whether or not she was Song Miaoyu, or perhaps Gu Siyu had simply been mistaken.
But if it was Chen Wenzhou’s car that the woman resembling Song Miaoyu got into, then it was unlikely to be just a coincidence—soone might have deliberately arranged for Gu Siyu to encounter a woman resembling his senior sister.
Thus, Gu Siyu had to make up his own mind now about whether to search for Song Miaoyu or, alternatively, seek out Chen Wenzhou.
“To be honest, I’m worried that this is all a conspiracy. If my senior sister isn’t dead, why would she play such a deception on ? Or is she trying to prove her importance in my heart?”
Gu Siyu too was seriously reflecting on the matter; once they suspected that this could be a conspiracy, they would have to rethink everything from start to finish.
“If her goal is really that simple, she has seen by now how important she is to —shouldn’t she reveal herself?”
“However, even if she wants to appear before again, there’s no reason for her to get involved with soone like Chen Wenzhou. Although she isn’t very knowledgeable about issues in Hua Country, I’ve explained the power struggles to her in simple terms.”
This was what Shen Heyu couldn’t understand. If all this was just an act to gauge her importance to Gu Siyu, Song Miaoyu wouldn’t need to get involved with Chen Wenzhou.
Getting involved with that sort of person would only lead to trouble. Song Miaoyu wasn’t imprudent; she had no reason to put herself in such a position.
“But if this isn’t just an act and it really is such a coincidence, I’m afraid I’ll be even more heartbroken to find out that the woman who looks like my senior sister isn’t her in the end.”
Gu Siyu’s Adam’s apple moved slightly, and he bowed his head in silence. As soon as he closed his eyes, Song Miaoyu’s image would co to his mind.
“If you can’t make a decision, then I’ll make it for you.”
Seeing that Gu Siyu couldn’t co to a decision, Shen Heyu simply hit the gas, and the car shot forth.
“What are you going to do?” Gu Siyu asked Shen Heyu.
“You can’t make a decision, so I’ll make it for you. You should know where this direction leads, right?”
Gu Siyu certainly knew this direction led to the Chen Family.

“ngng, it won’t be long before Shen Heyu visits our house. I’m giving you a heads up, and don’t forget the courtesy of hosting when the ti cos.”
Chen Wenzhou, dressed to the nines, walked into the living room, only to see Chen Lingng sitting in a wheelchair, picking grapes and tossing them at a servant for fun.
Upon hearing Chen Wenzhou’s words, Chen Lingng’s interest was instantly piqued. She placed the grapes she was holding onto the side table and then maneuvered her wheelchair towards Chen Wenzhou.
“Why isn’t Brother Yan Si coming? Why is it Shen Heyu instead? I didn’t invite him over.”
Chen Lingng frowned with displeasure at the ntion of Shen Heyu’s na.
Just the thought of facing her love rival gave her the sensation that her head was about to explode.
“ngng, no matter what, Shen Heyu is our guest, and moreover, she is Pei Yansi’s ex-girlfriend. If you could show a bit of generosity towards Pei Yansi’s ex, maybe Pei Yansi will like you even more.”
Seeing Chen Lingng pout with reluctance, Pei Yansi walked up behind her, pushing the wheelchair and taking her out into the yard for so fresh air.
“I don’t need Pei Yan to look at differently because I treat Shen Heyu well. Even if I pretend to be nice to Shen Heyu here, Pei Yan won’t see it.”
Chen Lingng pouted dissatisfiedly. She wasn’t in the mood to admire the scenery in the yard; lately, she’d been losing sleep over her engagent issues with Pei Yan.
The Chen Family had everything ready for the engagent, only waiting for Pei Yan to give the word. If he agreed, they could imdiately have the engagent ceremony, but so far, Pei Yan was still refusing.
Chen Lingng couldn’t possibly send out invitations without Pei Yan having agreed to the engagent. She would beco the laughingstock of the whole town if she did that.
“Then find a way to make Pei Yan see. If Pei Yan knows that Shen Heyu will co to our house, I believe he would hurry over here as well.”
Chen Wenzhou offered Chen Lingng a new perspective, and she found it quite sensible. She imdiately took out her phone with joy and called Pei Yan.
“Brother, you’re right. It’s been a long ti since Brother Yan Si ca to see at ho. If he doesn’t co, I’ll find a way to make him co.”
Chen Lingng dialed Pei Yansi’s number, and as soon as the call connected, she spoke in a sweet and whiny voice.
“Brother Yan Si, when will you be free for our engagent? Why not co over now and discuss this matter properly?”
“I’ve already said it many tis; I won’t get engaged to you. Don’t bother if it’s not important,” Pei Yansi’s tone was very cold.
As he was about to hang up, Chen Lingng unconsciously gritted her teeth.
Pei Yansi’s attitude toward her had always been like this, as cold as an iceberg.
Nevertheless, she puffed up her cheeks and then quickly softened her voice again, cooing, “Brother Yan Si, you absolutely won’t regret coming today because Shen Heyu will be here too.”
“What did you say? Shen Heyu is going to the Chen’s!”
