Su Wanxin slightly frowned, unable to understand why there was always a hint of pleading in her eyes whenever she saw her.

She was the daughter of the Fu Family, why did she need to speak to her with such an attitude? After all, when Su Wanxin used to be fostered by the Fu Family, she even had to address her as ’Miss’, right?

"I’ve been really busy lately, I don’t have ti." Su Wanxin spoke the truth; she was soon returning to the Empire, yet she still had a pile of sses waiting to be dealt with.

A fleeting look of disappointnt passed through Fu Shiyi’s eyes, which Su Wanxin clearly saw, causing a dull pain in her chest.

Su Wanxin exhaled uncomfortably, looked around, and said, "I’m truly busy, not lying to you. Whatever you want to say, say it today. If you think this place isn’t appropriate, we can go to a quieter corner."

Had it been a while ago, Su Wanxin wouldn’t even have given this opportunity. It was only for the sake of Fu Shihan that she was willing to accept this.

Because she always saw how hard Fu Shihan tried to please her family mbers, and she felt that perhaps she should do sothing too.

Hearing this, Fu Shiyi nodded repeatedly and quickly grabbed her wrist, leading her to a less crowded area.

In a secluded corner, there was no one within a ter or two.

Fu Shiyi took a deep breath, hesitated to speak, prompting a smile from Su Wanxin, who was also quite curious about what she actually wanted to say.

"Do you really not rember anything from the past?" Fu Shiyi asked softly. Seeing her nod, Fu Shiyi felt sowhat sad: "Then what about all the things that happened during the decade or so that you lived with us?"

Su Wanxin silently lowered her eyelids and clenched her teeth.

"I have many things I want to tell you, but I always feel that the most important thing I should say is ’I’m sorry.’"

Tears began to well up in the corners of Fu Shiyi’s eyes as she recalled so events from a year ago, filled with self-bla and sadness.

For every mber of the Fu Family, bowing their heads to soone is very difficult.

So a year ago, even though they had already spent three years searching hard for Su Wanxin, when they saw Su Wanxin return, they still weren’t willing to show weakness by bowing their heads.

After all, so truths had not yet been revealed.

"A year ago, before your attempted suicide, we t once. At that ti, it was who made you cry."

Su Wanxin frowned tightly as she listened to her speak slowly.

"I don’t know if you can still see those things, but I know that you’ve always been afraid of ghosts since you were a child, because we were best friends."

Best friends.

These words hamred on Su Wanxin’s heart, causing her a bitter ache.

"So, what exactly did you do to ?" Su Wanxin clenched her fists and asked: "Tears are quite valuable to ; there aren’t many things that can make cry."

She asked the main question directly, causing Fu Shiyi to sigh, but she dared not say the words on her mind.

After hesitating for a long ti, Fu Shiyi finally clenched her teeth and provided an answer: "I took you to a horror party, and I said so nasty things."

Su Wanxin stared at her intently. After looking for quite a while, she asked word by word, "Are you sure that we were best friends, not enemies?"

Fu Shiyi: "..."

Her words were too ironic, leaving Fu Shiyi unsure how to respond. She remained silent for a long ti, struggling to speak.

"We’re not enemies. You almost lost your life for my sake; how could we possibly be enemies?"

Su Wanxin leaned against the wall, turned her head to look away, bit the corner of her lip, and endured the discomfort in her heart, listening to her continue apologizing.

"Wanwan, I truly know I was wrong, would you please forgive . I will never bother you again."
