The side door of the kitchen, at this mont, only a few servants were busy.
A few of them saw their always gloomy Eldest Young Master, walking in holding a woman’s hand, and they were all stunned for a mont.
Fu Shihan walked straight ahead without looking sideways, taking Su Wanxin up to the second floor by the servants-only elevator, directly to the room she had just peeked at from outside.
"The key was just requested from the housekeeper. This room has been unoccupied for over three years, and hardly anyone enters. It’s only regularly cleaned, otherwise it’s always locked."
Fu Shihan opened the door and pushed Su Wanxin inside.
The mont Su Wanxin stepped into this room, she saw the arrangent and furnishings clearly under the moonlight, and her eyelids drooped, her eyes moistening.
Everything remained unchanged, still as it was when she left three years ago.
Fu Shihan casually closed the door behind them, not in a hurry to turn on the lights.
Outside Su Wanxin’s room was a large terrace, and at this ti the moonlight shone through the floor-to-ceiling windows, making the room seem exceptionally cold.
Fu Shihan leaned against the door watching Su Wanxin, and spoke softly.
"Do you want to have a look around the room first, or do you want to repay your debt first?"
Su Wanxin looked up at him, sowhat puzzled. What’s wrong with her?
"Bringing back Yangyang costs two kisses, so what does bringing you here cost?"
Su Wanxin, in a daze, understood his aning, sniffled and said softly: "It was you who brought here on your own initiative, I didn’t ask you to."
"Truly ungrateful." Fu Shihan bitterly smiled in exasperation, then reached out to grab her wrist. "Then stop looking, let’s go out, downstairs."
Su Wanxin was yanked forward by him, stumbling into his arms.
Fu Shihan held her wrist with one hand and wrapped the other around her waist, looking down at her face.
"You were so energetic in confronting people just now, do you still want to confront ?"
"You are not Ding Kai Ze, why would I confront when I can’t win, am I stupid?"
"So you’re not stupid." Fu Shihan’s lips curled into a smile, then he turned, pinning her against the door. "I thought you were scared silly by seeing Grandpa and Grandpa tonight."
He kissed her lips gently, with a trace of consolation.
He had co back earlier today, not taking her directly here, but instead having Sheng Qian pick her up, because he had to warn those two old n in advance that they couldn’t touch his people tonight.
The negotiation process was brutal, getting a combined scolding from both was inevitable. But fortunately, the result was still good.
"For you, I almost got beaten up today."
"...Then why still confront them head-on? You should know, they don’t want to see . My coming here will only spoil everyone’s mood."
"But you have to co back eventually."
Su Wanxin clutched at the hem of his clothes, her heart aching faintly.
This is her ho, people ultimately have to return ho. She understood what he ant, but...
Su Wanxin and he looked into each other’s eyes, her feelings complicated, she asked him.
"Are you intending to forgive ?"
Fu Shihan was silent for a mont, helplessly retorting: "What else can I do?"
He also wanted to remain tough, to maintain the attitude he had when she first returned.
But he watched her suffer those hardships, being bullied like that. He couldn’t bear it.
"You know I’ve always been helpless when it cos to you."
They used to argue, but a cold war wouldn’t last more than a day. No matter how big the conflict, even if there’s a lot of resentnt in his heart, Fu Shihan would bow his head within 24 hours, regardless of whether he was at fault or not.
But this ti, it had taken him over three long years.
