Shen Wenguang, an old and cunning rchant, how did he manage to raise such a daughter incapable of navigating social interactions?

People couldn’t understand, nor were they willing to waste ti pondering such matters. Because at the mont, there were more important things to do, that is, to converse and network with Su Wanxin.

Fu Shihan couldn’t possibly be lying about sothing like the role of Su Family’s CEO. Since he said it, it ans that Su Wanxin truly is the one in charge of the Su Family.

Su Wanxin, with an ever-present smile, glanced at Shen Xiaochen and Ding Kai Ze and responded softly, "I’m truly sorry, next ti I will record it on my phone and listen carefully to what Miss Shen had to say."

Then, she stopped ntioning the matter, continuing to chat and mingle with a light smile, diffusing the atmosphere.

It’s such a beautiful day; it can’t be ruined by soone like Shen Xiaochen.

Su Wanxin did not want to spoil Sheng Qian’s engagent banquet, so she tried her best, her face almost stiff with effort, before she finally managed to divert the crowd’s attention from the previous unpleasantness.

And all the while, she was worried the Fu Family would kick her out for causing trouble...

Her newly unveiled identity just ca out, and if she were to be kicked out imdiately, it would be a terrible, terrible situation.

Fortunately, nothing happened, until another minor climax of the banquet unfolded, and no harm ca to Su Wanxin.

At least two-thirds of the guests here today presud that Sheng Qian’s fiancé for the evening would be Fu Shihan.

That was the news that had been spread before, and how it had been reported.

So, when Sheng Qian hooked her arm into Fu Shili’s, and they even shared a kiss in front of everyone, Su Wanxin faintly heard many sharp intakes of breath.

Everyone was stunned, speechless from the sudden image and the implications it carried.

Wasn’t it supposed to be Fu Shihan? Why did it turn out to be Fu Shili?

Are the dia really that unreliable nowadays? Have they been reporting the wrong na all this ti?

That’s just incredibly frustrating, isn’t it?

Su Wanxin stood in the corner, silently enjoying the amusing expressions on many faces. Yangyang was beside her, having drunk a bit too much juice and now needed to use the restroom, she tugged at her dress and whispered.

"Mommy, I want to go to the bathroom."

"Then go."

"Co with ," Yangyang looked up at her and whispered.

He wanted Su Wanxin to accompany him upstairs and also wanted her to go to his room.

Su Wanxin hesitated for a mont, then shook her head. She saw Lu Ci not too far away, patted Yangyang on the head, and said: "Go find Uncle Lu Ci to accompany you."

"Mommy..."

"No use acting spoiled, you can’t."

Guests are forbidden on the second floor and above; she couldn’t go.

Seeing her firm stance, Yangyang lowered his head disappointingly and obediently went to find Lu Ci.

Lu Ci glanced back at Su Wanxin, then took Yangyang away without asking any questions.

The room was bustling with warmth and a joyous atmosphere.

Su Wanxin took the opportunity, while everyone was busy congratulating the couple, to quietly step out of the room and walk into the courtyard.

It was almost December, and the night was cold.

Su Wanxin, standing in the chilly wind, slowly looked up towards the room she once lived in, her eyes turning sowhat red without her realizing.

"Sneaking around, what are you up to?"

Fu Shihan followed her footsteps out, standing at the doorway looking at her.

"Nothing. Just felt a bit stuffy inside, ca out for so fresh air."

Fu Shihan sighed and looked back to check if anyone noticed, then walked over to Su Wanxin, took her hand, and led her to the side of the house.
