Discuss with Zhuang Heng?
Su Xingyu didn’t think Zhuang Heng was soone easy to talk to.
But, so what? This venue’s ti was scheduled by the people at Cloud, and rules are rules. Playing the sympathy card to stand on the moral high ground might work with others, but not with Su Xingyu.
Su Xingyu stood quietly in place, just waiting. She watched a staff mber from Blade rush over to say sothing to Zhuang Heng, who was teaching children to pose with a smile, but upon looking this way, her expression turned slightly displeased. She too exchanged a few words with the staff mber.
The staff mber seed in a dilemma, saying sothing further.
Zhuang Heng seed unwilling to yield, raising her voice slightly. Faintly, her words drifted over: "Doesn’t she know to make way for such little children?!"
Then a child over there got scared by her and began to cry.
Zhuang Heng quickly bent down, soothing the child with utmost gentleness.
Seeing this, the staff mber had no choice but to hurry back and say to Su Xingyu and the people at Cloud, "I’m really sorry, Miss Axing, Mrs. Lu over there..."
"She’s not any Mrs. Lu," Su Xingyu said irritably for no reason, sneering, "She knows best what her relationship with Lu Shifeng is. She can’t even manage her own Jue properly, yet she’s bringing a bunch of left-behind children to show off? What a talent!"
The staff mber stood awkwardly by, afraid to speak up.
If soone else had criticized Zhuang Heng like this, they would’ve stepped in to defend her. But since it was Su Xingyu saying it, they didn’t want to get involved and make problems for themselves.
Recent news was explosive, with rumors about "Axing being the original wife of Mr. Lu, Su Xingyu" making headline news, prompting discussions comparing Axing and Zhuang Heng. Many felt that whether or not Axing was Su Xingyu, to make Mr. Lu crash a wedding when Zhuang Heng already existed, she must have been incredibly important to him. Moreover, Mr. Lu’s actions completely disregarded Zhuang Heng’s dignity, suggesting that in Mr. Lu’s heart, Axing might weigh more than Zhuang Heng!
With this understanding, the staff mber was deeply troubled, feeling caught in the middle, unable to offend either side.
But Su Xingyu didn’t leave him in suspense for long. She glanced at the venue manager beside her and said, "If you can’t handle it, I’ll help you handle it."
As soon as she said that, the assistants who had been taking candid shots for Zhuang Heng ca over and started clicking wildly at Su Xingyu.
Thankfully, the staff at Cloud had so sense, and imdiately blocked in front of Su Xingyu, demanding angrily, "What are you doing?!"
The photo assistants from Zhuang Heng’s side didn’t respond, snapping several more pictures of Su Xingyu.
The person from Blade in charge of negotiations couldn’t hold back any longer and said, "Liu, Zhang, don’t you recognize Miss Axing?! She knows Mr. Lu!" He was genuinely worried for his colleagues. They were new to Blade and usually followed Zhuang Heng’s lead. In any other context, it could be said they were just good at currying favor with Zhuang Heng. But this ti, they had provoked Su Xingyu.
The two photo assistants looked at each other and slowly spoke, "Everyone can see how patient Miss Zhuang is with left-behind children. Clearly this Miss Axing is deliberately seeking trouble, so of course we need to docunt it and later send it to the dia for the public to judge. Miss Axing has kids herself, so why can’t she empathize with left-behind children’s challenges like Miss Zhuang?"
It’s not that they were unaware of Axing’s identity; they just chose to side with Zhuang Heng after weighing their options.
Their thinking was simple: no matter what the feelings between Zhuang Heng and Lu Shifeng were, Zhuang Heng was recognized as the "Mrs. Lu" by the Lu Family and had even given Lu Shifeng a son.
And what about Su Xingyu? Even if she had also had a child, that child was Ouyang Yi’s.
Which weighed more, they believed Lu Shifeng would co to his senses and know whom to choose after his montary confusion.
By then, those supporting Zhuang Heng would surely prosper, right?
That’s why they tirelessly stood by Zhuang Heng.
The negotiator from Blade was lost for words. He didn’t want to offend Su Xingyu, but neither did he want to speak ill of Zhuang Heng. Otherwise, if those people got wind of it to Zhuang Heng, he’d be in deep trouble. The situation ca to a standstill.
Su Xingyu, however, was unperturbed, lightly patting Cloud’s manager on the shoulder: "Co with ."
The Cloud manager was startled but followed her towards where Zhuang Heng and the left-behind children were.
The sa went for the photo assistants from Blade, along with the negotiator, venue manager, and Cloud’s assistants—who, hearing the increasing argunt, were alerted as well. Seeing their photographer being bullied, the photo assistants wouldn’t back down, directly turning on the video mode of their caras to record this scene. Maybe they’d edit it into so useful footage later!
Su Xingyu quickly walked up to Zhuang Heng.
Zhuang Heng straightened up to look at her, her face showing a gentle and conciliatory expression: "Axing, I know you have issues with , but you’ve taken my Jue away. Why don’t you stay ho and take good care of him? Why co to vie for the left-behind children’s venue with ? You know well my Jue is ill, yet you heartlessly took him away from and don’t even care for him properly... Axing, now that you’re out working, what about my Jue at ho?"
What?
This woman called Axing kidnapped Zhuang Heng’s child?!
No one knew that Lu Shifeng had taken Jue to be raised by Su Xingyu. Hearing Zhuang Heng ntion it now, everyone was shocked and sympathized with Zhuang Heng.
"This, this is terrifying," a photo assistant of Zhuang Heng couldn’t help but say, "I heard that little master Jue’s heart disease and autism are quite severe. It’s only thanks to Mrs. Lu’s care that he’s alive and well today. Miss Axing, how can you be so cruel, separating them as mother and son?!"
"That’s none of your business when it cos to others’ family matters," Su Xingyu replied, neither warm nor cold.
Having said that, she looked at Zhuang Heng again, a mocking curve on her lips: "Zhuang Heng, you clearly know that Lu Shifeng decided to take Jue to because I can take better care of him, and he enjoys playing with my Han more. Even the Lu Family’s doctor says Jue has been healthier since coming to . So what’s your fuss about now?"
"You’re lying!" Zhuang Heng’s face turned slightly pale, "Clearly, you used so sweet-talking to confuse Shifeng and steal my child!"
