The venue has been occupied?
Su Xingyu was slightly taken aback and asked the staff, "Didn’t you arrange the rental ti with the venue in advance?"
This is a popular film base near S City, where many crews and dia like to shoot. The outdoor venue is highly sought after and must be booked in advance.
Upon hearing this, the staff smiled bitterly and said, "How could we make such a mistake? The venue was booked in advance, but it’s a hot spot, and every ti slot is tightly scheduled. The group from the previous ti slot hasn’t finished shooting and refuses to vacate the venue."
Su Xingyu glanced at her delicate ladies’ wristwatch, realizing it was already ten minutes past the scheduled shooting ti.
She wasn’t bothered and said, "I can wait."
The staff looked worried, "Um, could we trouble you to shoot a bit quickly once we get the venue? We are grateful you can wait, but the model cannot. It’s difficult to book the supermodel this ti, and their appearance fee per hour is not cheap. Once the ti is up, they’ll leave."
Su Xingyu frowned slightly, checked the ti again, and said, "I always shoot quickly; you all know that. When I estimated the shooting ti this ti, I didn’t leave much leeway to save costs for everyone. But if you want to compress it further, I can’t guarantee the quality. I can shoot faster by at most 20 minutes; if you need to be faster, I’m afraid you’ll have to find soone else."
She’s easygoing in so matters but incredibly stubborn in others.
The staff has collaborated with her a few tis and understands her temperant. Plus, there are rumors everywhere recently that she’s Lu Shifeng’s woman, so the staff wouldn’t dare offend her.
The staff had no choice but to wipe the sweat from their forehead and say to her, "Miss Axing, please wait a bit longer; I’ll go negotiate with the shooting team over there again."
A few staff hurriedly went over. The supermodel’s photography fee this ti is absurdly high, and even though they are the Cloud shooting team, they can’t afford to delay. Otherwise, who would bear the additional cost?
Su Xingyu and the other staff waited at the original spot.
Soon, the sound of a quarrel was heard.
There was so angry voice from Su Xingyu’s side: "You’ve been over ti for a long while; shouldn’t you vacate the venue by now?"
The staff on the other side replied righteously, "How can we vacate if we’re not done shooting? This is a public welfare advertisent caring for left-behind children, and the shooting models are actual left-behind children! These kids are only six or seven years old; do you know how hard it is to coordinate them? Do you think they’re professional models without any incidents? Can’t you empathize with the children a bit?!"
"That’s right, exactly..." echoed the voices of many people from the side.
Venue staff was diating: "Co on, co on... everyone, take a step back. Li, why not wait a bit more for the kids?"
Surprisingly, they were persuading Su Xingyu’s staff to empathize with the other side.
Su Xingyu didn’t look happy.
She glanced up at the supermodel not far away, who clearly heard the quarrel in the distance, and the corners of her mouth slightly turned downwards in a disdainful expression but quickly concealed it. Seeing Su Xingyu’s gaze, the supermodel helplessly shrugged and said, "Local characteristic, huh?"
Su Xingyu understood what she ant. She was referring to how many people in the country rely on their proximity to children, or the elderly, disabled, or sick, to encroach upon others’ legal rights.
She said, "It’s not a local characteristic."
Putting down the cara, she walked toward the direction of the quarrel.
The quarrel was still ongoing, and she unexpectedly saw an old acquaintance—Zhuang Heng.
Today, Zhuang Heng was still impeccably dressed, seemingly unfaltering at any ti. Wearing a light beige suit, she lowered her head, smiling appropriately while teaching so kids how to pose. Two assistants with caras surrounded them, shooting behind-the-scenes monts during the formal shoot.
Su Xingyu glanced at the cara model and lens, realizing they were using an ultra-soft light to capture portrait close-ups, likely making Zhuang Heng appear saintly.
Zhuang Heng was busy imrsing herself in interactions with the kids and didn’t notice the argunt. Su Xingyu didn’t mind her, instead directly walking over to the venue manager and Zhuang Heng’s team leader, saying, "You’re weak, so you’re justified? Shooting children as non-professional and uncontrollable models, did you not know to reserve more ti in advance? Why forcefully occupy others’ ti; does others’ ti and shooting costs just drift by like the wind?"
The scene quieted down, and everyone turned to look at her.
The Cloud staff was practically about to applaud and enthusiastically backed her up, saying, "Exactly, exactly, you’re weak, so you’re justified?!"
The venue manager frowned, looked at Su Xingyu, and asked puzzledly, "Who is this?"
Su Xingyu wore a mask, and nearby Cloud staff answered for her, "This is our photographer, Miss Axing, the one who photographed Mr. Ouyang Yi and his son, Miss Axing."
The venue manager had seen all sorts of people, and with a hint from the Cloud staff, he suddenly knew—wasn’t the photographer with Ouyang Yi and his son, Axing, the woman who is the biological mother of Ouyang Yi’s son and who was seized at the wedding by Mr. Lu of Blade Group not long ago!
Dear God...
The manager looked at Su Xingyu in horror, not daring to speak rashly.
If it was another photographer, he could use children as leverage, standing on the moral high ground. But confronting the woman Lu Shifeng would even steal as a bride, he couldn’t dare!
Even Zhuang Heng’s staff emitted a faint gasp. They were from Blade Photography Center. Employees have co and gone over these four years, including so newcors who hadn’t worked with the authentic Su Xingyu back then. Yet, they’d recently followed nurous legends about Axing, Zhuang Heng, and the past Su Xingyu.
They looked at Su Xingyu, so were straightforward and asked, "Are you really Axing? Is it really Su Xingyu herself? We compared and analyzed your photos with the forr Su Xingyu’s not long ago, finding many stylistic similarities. Why don’t you remove your mask for us to see?"
"This doesn’t seem related to the venue issue, does it?" Su Xingyu said.
Blade’s employee felt awkward, glanced at his colleague.
They were forceful in occupying the venue, relying on Blade being a large group, unafraid even if Cloud ca. But now, with the rumored Axing there, it was different; she was the rumored woman with their big boss! "Please wait," calming down, even their form of address changed. "We can’t decide on vacating the venue, let talk to Miss Zhuang Heng first."
