Seven Sins System Chapter 409. Cult And Religion

My statent hung in the air.

'Guess I was right,' I mused inwardly. What I had just said was nothing more than a wild guess, a shot in the dark, but it seed to have hit closer to ho than I anticipated. It dawned on that perhaps the parallels between the light and shadow realms ran deeper than we initially thought.

After all, if both realms were facing similar issues, it stood to reason that both of us—, the prince of darkness, and her, the princess of light—shared more similarities than differences.

"Since we're simply on the sa boat, tell , do you know why they use your summoning formation instead of the others?" I queried.

She shook her head slowly, her expression troubled. "That is the altered version of my summoning formation, sa as yours. But I don't understand why they can connect it," she confessed. Her face darkened with a grim expression. "I think it perhaps has to do with the purity and power associated with the holy summoning formation," she suggested.

“Are you sure about that?” I asked for her clarification.

Her brows furrowed in contemplation, a thoughtful expression crossing her face. "I'm not entirely sure," she admitted after a mont's reflection. "I also have tried to figure out what the altered pattern ans and attempted to sever the connection, but nothing seems to work," she lanted.

Her approach differed from mine; while I sought to uncover the mastermind behind the manipulation of my summoning formation and their intentions, she focused on understanding the altered pattern and severing its connection.

I furrowed my brow. "You tried to cut the connection? By checking the agreent of your summoning formation?" I inquired.

The agreent she ntioned was a crucial aspect of the summoning process, a binding contract forged with universal magic that governed the interaction between summoner and summoned. If sothing was amiss with the agreent, it could hold the key to unlocking the mystery surrounding the altered formations.

"Yes. But it didn't work. There's nothing wrong with my summoning formation, but why is mine the only one that has a loop?" she lanted.

I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to her predicant than t the eye. It seed odd that her summoning formation was the only one affected by this mysterious loop, especially considering the similarities between hers and mine.

Was there sothing she was overlooking, a crucial detail that had eluded her thus far?

The thought nagged at the back of my mind. ‘Is she also forgetting sothing like before?’ I mused silently. It was just a random guess.

"Have you found the cult that uses your summoning formation?" I inquired.

Once again, she shook her head. "There are no signs it ca from a cult," she replied with a huff, her tone tinged with exasperation.

"Then what about religion?" I cut straight to the chase, my words blunt and to the point. It was just a guess.

If the heretical cult using my summoning formation was the dark counterpart to what mortals perceived as good, then it stood to reason that the entity altering her summoning formation belonged to a religious sect that viewed themselves as pure and righteous.

Her eyes widened in recognition. It was as if a light bulb had flickered to life in her mind.

"I guess you never thought of that," I scoffed, unable to resist a hint of mockery in my tone.

"I don't," she confessed, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I an, I consider those people—the ones who obey their own religion—are true and good people," she reasoned, her words trailing off.

"Yeah, that's why they play around with your summoning formation, not mine. Because you're a goddess not a devil," I replied nonchalantly, as if stating the most obvious fact in the world.

She pressed her lips together, nodding in agreent. "You have a point there," she admitted.

"Thank you," I replied, a proud smile spreading across my face. "See, it's all about perspective," I continued.

She nodded in agreent. "Yeah, I never thought about it that way before," she admitted.

"Well, that's why you have around," I teased, flashing her a playful grin. "To offer up so fresh insights and shake things up a bit."

She chuckled, a warm smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I suppose I owe you one then," she quipped.
