The sound of a car’s engine outside was exaggerated, and the old dean’s heart felt bitter.

From the sound alone, you could tell it was a luxury car. The people those n in suits were waiting for had arrived!

Not long after, a stout middle-aged man entered the room. His face was cold, and the n in suits slightly bowed their heads as he walked in.

It seed like he had a high status.

The middle-aged man glanced around the room and noticed the girl the dean was protecting. He frowned slightly and asked, "Is this the person you’re looking for?"

"Yes, Mr. Bai." The n in suits replied quietly, "Please use your skill to erase their mories. [Sun Halo] will be very grateful!"

"You guys from [Sun Halo] really have guts, don’t you know that Yanyun has gathered many [Players]? If not for the situation at the Great Wall today, I wouldn’t even dare to et with you." The middle-aged man, called Mr. Bai, was not friendly towards the n in suits. He said disdainfully, "Don’t co to for such criminal matters in the future! If it weren’t for my sister’s research needing funding, I wouldn’t bother helping you."

"Mr. Bai is right. But rest assured, [Great Wall] is busy investigating today, so it’s unlikely that any other individual [Players] would dare to interfere with [Sun Halo]’s operation. Moreover, we have the protection of the [Instant Space Array], so it won’t attract their attention." The n in suits nodded repeatedly.

The young n in front of the old dean had their muscles tensed, and they spoke coldly: "What do you want to do? Even though you have more people, don’t think I’m a pushover! If you dare to ss around, I’ll kill you!"

Although his words were fierce, his tone was sowhat breathless.

Mr. Bai sighed and shook his head: "Don’t worry, you’ll forget everything in a while. I’m just here to erase your mories on behalf of soone else. Nothing will happen."

"As for what you’re planning to do, I won’t ask. It’s probably this little girl." Mr. Bai looked at the shivering girl in the dean’s arms, narrowed his eyes, and asked, "Is she a [Player]? Or is it one of your higher-ups with a psychological disorder?"

The n in suits remained silent.

Mr. Bai was about to make a move, but suddenly stiffened and looked toward the door.

The n in suits were startled. They heard another roaring engine, followed by a savage braking sound and a collision.

Who could it be? Who else would co at this ti? Was it a mber of the orphanage? Did they receive the news before the array was activated?

The n in suits’ expressions changed slightly.

"Who are you?"

"Get out of the way!"

"Stop him!"

.....

Soon after, fighting noises ca from outside the main entrance. In less than ten seconds, soone pushed the door open.

It was a young man with short curly hair, holding a briefcase and smiling, "Who’s so uncivilized, parking their car like that? I accidentally drove too fast and hit it, sorry about that."

"He Feng!" The old dean was surprised to see the young man who had entered.

It was He Feng, who had inford Li Changhe about the orphanage’s predicant earlier.

He Feng nodded slightly at the old dean. He then looked at the group of n in suits with a frown and said, "With the crackdown on criminals being so strict, how dare you co here to cause trouble? Are you here to demolish the place or abduct soone?"

He threw the briefcase on the table, and it opened upon impact, revealing stacks of US dollars inside.

"If you’re here to demolish the place, tell your boss that we don’t lack funds. Take the money and go sowhere else! The governnt has no plans to demolish this place, and if you dare to co again, I’ll sue you until you go bankrupt!" He Feng looked around and finally fixed his gaze on Mr. Bai with a cold smile, "If you’re here to abduct soone, then take the money. If it’s not enough, I’ll add so more. Go back and beat up your boss. I’ll pay ten tis what he’s giving you!"

His tough attitude made the atmosphere even heavier. The n in suits didn’t dare to speak, as they sensed that the young man’s power... was not inferior to Mr. Bai’s!

The mbers of the orphanage were stunned. They knew He Feng; he was one of the first children to leave the orphanage, and he occasionally returned to visit the dean. But they never expected him to be so wealthy and fierce.

The old dean looked even more bewildered. He hadn’t planned on telling He Feng about the situation, as he’d left the orphanage already and it wasn’t necessary for him to get involved. How did He Feng find out? Did one of the children in the orphanage inform him?

What was even stranger was, where did He Feng get all that money? He had just driven here, and he was only 18 years old– could he really drive already?

The old dean felt a headache coming on, as too many things were happening today.

On the other hand, Mr. Bai’s face looked rather unpleasant. He glanced at the n in suits and thought, so this is your perfect plan? A character like this shows up before I even use my skill. [Sun Halo] is so unreliable!

"Hahaha, stupid [Sun Halo]. I won’t cooperate with you guys anymore, and I even lost a car for nothing!" Mr. Bai cursed inwardly. He knew that the car the young man ntioned was his own.

That was a show of force!

Just as he was about to speak, he heard a strange noise.

Was it... the sound of horse hooves?

In a few seconds, the door was pushed open again. A tall, thin young man entered, carrying a wooden box over his shoulder.

It was none other than Li Changhe! He had rushed over without stopping, riding... an actual horse.

Upon seeing the situation in the room, he smiled, "I don’t know who parked a Ferrari at the entrance, but sothing smashed half of it. I was worried about the owner having obsessive-compulsive disorder, so I helped crush the other half."

Mr. Bai twitched the corners of his mouth, thinking sarcastically, well thank you for that!

Li Changhe greeted the old dean before placing the wooden box on the floor, opened it, and a dazzling golden light shone. It was a box filled with gold, silver, and jewelry!

The old dean covered his forehead, feeling as if what was happening was unreal. What had happened to these two lately? Had they suddenly made a fortune? Weren’t they just working odd jobs not long ago?

Li Changhe scanned the room and stopped his gaze on the briefcase in front of He Feng. With one casual glance from his [Eagle’s Demon Eye], he noticed blood and gunpowder traces on it.

With a knowing expression on his face, he looked at He Feng, "Box, have you been selling your ass? Or have you been kept by a rich woman?"

He Feng also looked at the wooden box in front of Li Changhe and saw the words ’Great Tang official silver’ written on it. He laughed lightly and said, "Almost, Goudan. Are you being kept by a rich woman? Does Xiao Nan know about this?"

The two of them smiled and teased each other. At the sa ti, they both confird one fact.

"This guy...is also a [Player]!" Both of them thought simultaneously.

Mr. Bai’s face looked incredibly unhappy. [Players]! And there were two of them!

From their extravagant spending, it was evident that they had participated in [Plot Tasks] and obtained the property from within!

Moreover, both of them must be quite strong! Mr. Bai’s energy attribute was over 10 points, allowing him to sense the strength of his opponents easily. These two guys’ levels must not be lower than Lv5!

And he himself was only Lv5. Fight two of them at once? No way!

So, Mr. Bai smiled at the two and said, "It’s a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding. As I’m here on behalf of soone else, I’ll leave since the two of you are also here."

He then glared at the n in suits and yelled, "Fucking [Sun Halo]! Don’t ever fucking see again!"
