Chapter 542: So words, for Wallace Carter
“So, this is your sister? Hmm, did I say sothing wrong? Really, you two look so different, isn’t it normal for people to suspect you’re not real siblings?”
Upon hearing this, Wallace Carter’s anger that had subsided surged back, prompting him to step forward and confront the boy again.
“Say that again!”
“What’s the problem with saying that?! You two are NOT real siblings!”
Seeing the conflict reignite, Emily Walker and Bella Stuart hurriedly held back Wallace while on the other side, the boy was also held back by other classmates and a teacher.
Since the students here were of significant status, no ordinary teacher would dare offend them lightly.
Upon hearing this, Emily finally understood a little why her brother had gotten into a fight.
“Wallace, did you really fight with soone over this?” It was just words after all. Why would her little brother get so angry? He even got into a fight with soone?
Wallace’s chest heaved irregularly, a vein visible on his forehead, his dark eyes gradually ablaze with anger.
Under Emily’s questioning, he eventually averted his gaze.
Perhaps to others, these words were not a big deal, but to him, they did matter a lot.
He couldn’t stand hearing these words!
“It is just a comnt. Besides, we really don’t look alike…” Emily thought that her brother was overreacting. No matter how influential one was, no one could control what others say, right? Surely, he didn’t an to confront every person that said sothing he didn’t like?
Upon hearing this, Wallace turned his head in surprise, looking at his sister in disbelief, “Sis, can’t believe even you think this way!?”
“…” She thought the sa too?
Not really, they indeed looked different, which was commonly ntioned when they were in elentary and high school. What was so odd about that?
“What did I think?” She blinked at her brother, not understanding why he was upset.
“Even you believe that we’re not real siblings!? Sis, I’ve already lost my parents. I don’t want to lose my only sister too!” Unable to contain himself, Wallace roared. From the fury in his reddened eyes, one could vaguely sense his feeling of helplessness and rage!
It seems like he was holding back sothing that Emily couldn’t feel.
Emily was stunned by his words for a mont.
How could a single comnt cause her to lose her position as his sister?
“Tsk, tsk, Wallace, you’re blaming . Now even your own sister admits, she herself said that you two don’t look alike and aren’t real siblings!” The boy snorted contemptuously.
At first, he only joked after inadvertently seeing the photo Bella Stuart handed him: You look nothing like your sister; you’re obviously not real siblings.
Who knew that, before his words could even fully register, a punch suddenly ca flying at him, landing squarely.
On hearing this, Wallace, with his fury-red eyes, was about to charge at the boy, but Emily swiftly held him back.
She turned to the high school boy with a resolute look, a confident smile forming at the corner of her mouth, “My classmate, yes, I did say we don’t look alike. But who said real siblings must look alike? Are you saying you look exactly like your dad or your mom? If not, should I say that you are the child of your parents and so other person?”
