“As your mother included your address in the letter, I ca to find you and your grandmother. Everyone assud that I was your father when I enquired about you and your grandmother in town. He then looked up at Ye Tianxin and emphasized, “Tianxin, I promised your mother that I would treat you like my own daughter. I’ll take care of you and your grandmother.”
Based on Lu Jijun’s explanation, he sounded like a devoted man. However, Ye Tianxin shook her head and turned him down, “That’s not necessary. Since I’m not your daughter, please stop interfering with my life from now on.”

“Tianxin, I’m doing this for your own good. Your mother was in despair because she dated a rich man. I don’t want to see you making the sa mistake. A rich man could ditch you any ti he wants. Would you be able to put up with a miserably hopeless life like that of your mother’s after he’s done with you?” Lu Jijun fired away.
Ye Tianxin flashed him a small smile and reiterated, “I am not my mother. She lived for love. I don’t.”
Ye Tianxin knew that she was nothing like her mother, and she would not abandon her child and mother for a man.
“Alright. We’re done talking about my affairs. We should move on to Madam Qin now,” she suggested.
