Chapter 1153 Aren’t You Tired of Acting All These Years?
Yan Shanyue had explained over the phone that initially, she would just need to contribute a few of her paintings for the exhibition. However, at the last minute, one of the more well-known painters was suddenly diagnosed with cancer and had to be hospitalized for treatnt. She was supposed to paint a portrait for the exhibition and now Yan Shanyue had to take over that task.
Yan Shanyue had thought of using Ye Tianxin as the model for her portrait. She was very famous in the capital, after all. Many donors would be willing to bid a high price for the portrait of a celebrity. Even if Li Qingcang was not present, Xie Xuning would also offer to buy the painting
“Aunt Shanyue, your phone is ringing.”
Yan Shanyue took a look at the caller and hung up the phone.
However, the caller was very persistent and her phone rang again. Yan Shanyue looked very impatient.
“Tianxin, can you answer the phone for ? Tell her that I am not around.”
Yan Shanyue handed the phone to Ye Tianxin who noticed that the call was from Li Zhiwei. Ye Tianxin was taken aback but she picked it up nonetheless.
“Shanyue...”
“Ms. Li, I’m Ye Tianxin. Aunt Shanyue is not here. May I know why are you looking for her? I can pass a ssage to Aunt Shayue when she’s back or I can ask her to call you back.”
Li Zhiwei knew what Yan Shanyue was up to when she heard Ye Tianxin’s voice. “Tianxin, I know she’s with you. Let talk to her.”
“She’s not here, I swear.”
Li Zhiwei hung up the phone imdiately. She pushed open the door of the restaurant and walked straight to Yan Shanyue and Ye Tianxin.
“Shanyue, shall we talk?”
“Li Zhiwei, if you are here to talk on behalf of your big brother, Qie Wang, it’s not necessary. We are already divorced.”
Yan Shanyue took out the divorce papers and passed them on to Li Zhiwei. Li Zhiwei looked at the docunt in disbelief. Tears welled up in her eyes when she read it and realized that it was true.
“It’s all my fault. Shanyue, I never ant to co between you and Qie Wang. You know that I only love Xuning.”
Yan Shanyue took a long deep breath. “Li Zhiwei, it’s none of my business who you love. I don’t want to have anything to do with you. I hope you’ll stay far away from in the future.”
Li Zhiwei started sobbing loudly in front of Yan Shanyue, attracting the attention of the other custors in the restaurant. They all looked in the direction of Li Zhiwei and Yan Shanyue.
“Tianxin, let’s go.”
Yan Shanyue pulled Ye Tianxin’s hand, smirking. She did not want to make a scene in the restaurant or talk to Li ZHiwei.
“Li Zhiwei, your tears an nothing to . I’m not Qie Wang. I will not waver just because you are crying.”
Li Zhiwei walked up to Yan Shanyue to stop her from leaving. She was weeping as she spoke. “Yes, it’s all my fault, Shanyue. Beat and scold if you like. Don’t take it out on Qie Wang okay?”
Yan Shanyue could not bear to see Li Zhiwei pretending to be innocent anymore. She raised her hand and slapped Li Zhiwei across the face.
She sneered. “Li Zhiwei, aren’t you tired of putting on an act all these years?”
“Go ahead. Hit . If you feel better after hitting , go ahead.”
Li Zhiwei closed her eyes after saying that.
Ye Tianxin was just a bystander in this whole drama but even she felt like tearing Li Zhiwei’s mask apart.
“Aunt Shanyue, don’t get your hands dirty over soone like that. It’s not worth it.”
Ye Tianxin then turned to Li Zhiwei. “I’ve never seen such an arrogant howrecker.”
