Shen Weiyi had just walked through the door when she received a call from Shen Juanzhi, "Sweetie, where are you?"
"Just got ho." The mont Shen Weiyi spotted the empty room, she knew Shen Juanzhi wasn't at ho again.
"What do you want for dinner? I'll have Secretary Jiang cook for you." Shen Juanzhi probably realized that leaving his precious daughter alone at ho on a big weekend wasn't very responsible, but, having a good ti himself, he hadn't forgotten to call and check on her dinner plans.
"No need, I can take care of it myself. Besides, Secretary Jiang is your secretary, stop always making him do nanny's work." Shen Weiyi said this as she headed to the kitchen and opened the fridge, only to see it packed full with vegetables and at... Hmm, perfect for a little hot pot.
"I am paying him double the salary; you don't need to feel sorry for him." On the other end, Shen Juanzhi's voice was languorous, "Buy whatever you want to eat, don't save money for your dad. Your dad is loaded, and sooner or later it's all going to be yours anyway."
A dad is a dad, but not exactly reliable.
Shen Weiyi, while taking the vegetables and at out of the fridge, said, "Actually, you could consider getting married and having another one. I don't mind having a stepmom and a little brother."
Shen Juanzhi: "Tch, back in the day, I was only nineteen, didn't even have ti to find a girlfriend, had to earn money for your baby formula. Now I've barely managed to raise you, and you're actually thinking about making raise another?"
Did this girl think raising a child was so easy?
Back in the day, when this girl was handed over to him, she was so tiny, about the size of a kitten, his hands would go soft holding her, always afraid that he might accidentally squeeze too hard and kill her.
So many years of being cautious, playing both dad and mom, now that he had managed to raise her to this size, and there was no longer any worry about who would inherit his wealth, wasn't it nice to live a happy and carefree life alone?
Shen Weiyi: "So, is that the reason you change girlfriends every three days now?" Saying raising a kid isn't easy, obviously just ans you haven't had enough fun yet, not wanting to part with all those flings.

Shen Weiyi closed the fridge door, reminding him, "Don't forget, I'm almost eighteen, and you had when you were barely twenty."
"Yes, yes, yes, you're all grown up now, knowing how to lecture your old dad, alright, rember to eat well!"
"Got it, you also co ho early, don't drink too much. Last ti you got drunk, you were lying on the living room floor, and I got a shock when I went to get water in the middle of the night, I couldn't drag you at all. If it weren't for Secretary Zhao's help, you would have had to sleep on the floor."
Well then, another day of being lectured by his daughter.
"Got it! Little miss, worried so much, careful not to turn into an old granny." Shen Juanzhi hung up the phone and went back to the private room, fearing that if he continued talking, he might lose all the face he had left as a dad.
Shen Weiyi hugged her phone and pulled a face.
Wasn't it all because there's an unreliable dad at ho!
"Mr. Shen, who were you talking to?" The woman beside him, holding a glass of wine, scooted closer to him.
"Just the kid at ho." Shen Juan tucked away his phone, flashing a devilishly handso face that looked to be no more than twenty-eight or twenty-nine, nobody would guess that he had a daughter almost turning eighteen at ho.
