"You’re moving out?"
Hearing that Shen Weiyi was going to move out of the dormitory that evening, Yan Xiaoyue and Fang Jing were both very surprised, "Doesn’t that an we won’t be able to see each other often?"
Z University was so big, with the Psychology Departnt and the Chemistry Departnt separated by half the campus. They hardly had classes in the sa area, so it was quite difficult to run into each other without planning ahead.
Shen Weiyi chuckled, "We’re in the sa school, we can et up anyti." Though she said this, it certainly wasn’t as convenient as living in the sa dormitory.
"Then rember to co back to the dorm to see us when you’re free." Both of them were reluctant to see her move out, but they also knew that living outside was definitely better than staying in the dorm.
They didn’t have the ans, but if they did, they would also want to move out.
"Heh, you pretend to be so noble all the ti, yet you end up living with a man before you even graduate." Suddenly, a scoffing voice arose from the side, and the air turned still for a mont as everyone’s expressions stiffened.
Especially Shen Weiyi, whose face imdiately darkened as she coldly turned her gaze toward Qin Ruo.
Facing her stare, Qin Ruo defiantly retorted, "Did I say sothing wrong? Aren’t you going to move out and live with a man?"
Shen Weiyi looked at her and suddenly laughed.
"What’s so funny?" Qin Ruo frowned, feeling sowhat perplexed. But she was certain that the other party was laughing at her, so she glared back with a darkened face.
Shen Weiyi: "I laugh at your ridiculousness." So people just like to make their presence felt, as if they’re afraid others won’t know they exist.
"What’s ridiculous about ?" Qin Ruo asked with a sullen face.
Shen Weiyi: "I don’t recall ever offending you, yet from the very first day, you’ve been targeting . Tell , why is that?"
Qin Ruo stiffened her neck in protest, "Who’s targeting you? What’s so special about you that I would bother to do that?"
"Yes, what’s so special about that you would target ?" Shen Weiyi raised an eyebrow and appraised her, speaking at a leisurely pace, "Could it be because I’m richer than you, better looking than you, I can wear authentic brands, and you can only wear fakes, so you’re jealous of ?"
Qin Ruo’s face turned beet red: "Jealous of you? And who said I wear fakes, do you have evidence, or are you just spouting nonsense?"
Although Shen Weiyi did expose her fake bag at the beginning of the sester, it was rely an offhand remark and she didn’t provide any evidence; Qin Ruo never admitted it. But since then, every ti she wore knock-offs, she would rember the embarrassnt of being exposed, and that resentnt lingered, making her furious at sight of Shen Weiyi, yet she was powerless to do anything about it.
Shen Weiyi: "Do you want to find soone to authenticate it for you? No worries, I know quite a few brand authentication experts, and I believe they’ll be more convincing than I ever could be."
"You..." Qin Ruo couldn’t help grinding her teeth, her face turning livid as she retorted, "Even if I do wear fakes, how is that your business? What is there for you to gloat about? You’re just good at being born to a better lot than others." If she had a rich father as well, would she need to wear knock-offs and be laughed at by soone like her?
"You’re right," Shen Weiyi calmly looked at her, "I am richer than you, better at ’being born’, and I can live the life you dream of without relying on my own abilities, a life you’ll never attain in your lifeti. And all you can do is watch. Does that annoy you?"
"You..." Qin Ruo’s expression uncontrollably twisted as she glared back hatefully, "Shen Weiyi, don’t be smug. I refuse to believe that you’ll have a better life than forever."
