Shen Weiyi found her slippers and got up to go to the living room.

The house was quiet, save for the occasional sound of keyboard tapping.

Sheng Ting, holding his laptop, sat in the living room. The evening sun stread in from the balcony, casting light on his figure and accentuating the contours of his face, as if a filter from an old ti had been applied, gentle and hazy.

"Awake?" Hearing footsteps, Sheng Ting looked up and greeted her with a smile.

"Have I slept for long?" Shen Weiyi had just woken up and was still a bit disoriented.

Sheng Ting glanced at the ti and said, "Yes, it’s almost five o’clock." That ant she had slept for over four hours.

She usually napped for about half an hour, so it was surprising that she had slept for so long this ti.

Could it be that his bed was more comfortable?

But, it did indeed feel quite comfortable. She didn’t know what kind of mattress he had bought, but she might consider buying one herself to try.

As Shen Weiyi randomly thought about this, she heard Sheng Ting ask in a gentle voice, "Do you want so water?"

"Mm-hmm!" Shen Weiyi nodded.

She then saw Sheng Ting put down the laptop, get up, walk to the dining table to pour a cup of warm water, and co back to hand it to her saying, "Drink."

Shen Weiyi grabbed the cup and sat down on the couch. After drinking half the cup of water, her head cleared completely. Looking at his laptop screen on the sofa, she suddenly rembered sothing and asked, "Did you stay in the apartnt all afternoon?"

If she rembered correctly, he was supposed to have a class that afternoon.

"Yes, I asked the professor for leave," Sheng Ting replied.

"Professor Zhuang’s class?" Shen Weiyi guessed based on the way he had ntioned the word ’professor.’

"Yes," Sheng Ting responded while continuing to sit next to her.

Shen Weiyi blinked and suddenly asked, "You didn’t tell him that you took leave to take care of because I have a cold, did you?"

Sheng Ting: "Yes!"

Shen Weiyi’s expression froze instantly.

Sheng Ting looked up at her and laughed, "I’m kidding. I told him I wasn’t feeling well and the professor advised to rest properly."

Shen Weiyi: ...

This man was becoming increasingly improper, mixing truth and lies in a way that made it difficult to distinguish.

"There’s porridge simring in the pot, would you like so?" Sheng Ting asked after teasing her.

"Mm-hmm!" Shen Weiyi touched her stomach, realizing she was indeed a bit hungry after her nap.

Sheng Ting put down his laptop, took her hand, and led her to the dining room saying, "You sit first, I’ll serve you." With that, he entered the kitchen.

Shen Weiyi looked at his retreating figure and suddenly felt that being taken care of was quite nice.

"What’s up?" Sheng Ting ca out of the kitchen with the porridge and handed it to her. Seeing her staring intently at him, he couldn’t help but ask with a smile.

"No wonder they say the handsost n are the ones who do housework. You look the handsost to right now," Shen Weiyi said with a laugh. "And, I just realized you really know how to take care of soone."

"So, do you want to move in? I can cook for you and take care of you every day," Sheng Ting suggested with a persuasive tone.

Shen Weiyi’s eyes flickered, a hint of discomfort crossing her face. She didn’t directly answer but changed the subject, "So, bringing here to eat is your way of coaxing to move in?"

"Yes!" To her surprise, he admitted openly.

Shen Weiyi: ... "Okay!" She nodded after a mont of silence.

"You agreed?" Sheng Ting paused, looking at her uncertainly.

Shen Weiyi raised her eyebrows, "Yes, my boyfriend is handso and a great cook. It doesn’t seem like a loss to move in."

"Then after we eat, I’ll help you move your stuff from the dormitory," Sheng Ting said with a laugh.

Well, there’s really no need to rush...
