Shen Weiyi returned to the dormitory and found Qin Zhen was also there.
"Why don’t you go back to your own dorm?"
Ever since the last conflict with Qin Ruo, the latter hadn’t co to their dormitory again.
Qin Zhen was sitting on her chair using her phone. On hearing her, he looked up and said, "Isn’t this caring about how far you and Senior Sheng have gone?"
"What ’how far’?" Neither of them had started anything. Was she overthinking it?
"Senior Sheng specially waited for you at the cafeteria entrance. Did he not say anything?" Qin Zhen asked with a gossip-filled gaze.
Shen Weiyi: "He did."
Qin Zhen’s eyes lit up: "What did he say?"
Shen Weiyi pulled a pendant from her pocket and said, "I went to see Aunt Jing and Little Bao yesterday and left this behind. He just brought it back to ."
"Is that all?" The disappointnt was evident in her eyes.
"What else?" Shen Weiyi found it amusing.
"Didn’t he ntion what his relationship is with that beautiful girl in the cafeteria?" Qin Zhen was skeptical.
"He did," Shen Weiyi said sowhat helplessly, "She’s his teacher’s daughter."
"I knew it." Qin Zhen had an I-told-you-so look, winking at her, "He even went out of his way to explain it to you, didn’t you say anything?"
"No!" Cutting off her further inquiries, Shen Weiyi directly pushed her out of the dorm, "Okay, hurry on back!"
Qin Zhen left with a disappointed look, casually opening WeChat to reply to sothing.
The avatar in the chat window was unmistakably Shen Jingqi’s.
...
Growing up, people always said that college was relaxing; it was only after entering college that people realized how naive they were to believe it.
Z University scheduled a very full titable, especially for freshn, with eight classes a day and even evening self-study.
Fortunately, everyone had co from three years of high-pressure high school environnts and had developed so resilience, quickly adapting to college life.
A week after school started, the annual club recruitnt began.
The campus was filled with banners from various clubs, all flexing their creative muscles with an array of catchy recruitnt slogans to attract mbers.
Even the path leading to the cafeteria had seen the setup of recruitnt booths.
New students were excited, all discussing which clubs to join.
"Yiyi, what club are you planning to join?"
"I haven’t decided yet. What about you guys?" Shen Weiyi asked.
Fang Jing blushed and said, "I’m thinking of trying out for the Student Union. Why don’t you guys sign up with ?"
Yan Xiaoyue refused, "I’ll pass. I heard the competition in the Student Union is fierce, I don’t want to crowd it. I’m planning to join the Baking Club, so in the future, I can make snacks for you and Yiyi."
Shen Weiyi also shook her head and said, "I’m not planning to sign up either." She didn’t want to stand out or compete with ambitious people.
Fang Jing looked distressed, "I also heard that the competition in the Student Union is fierce. I’m a bit scared to go alone, what should I do?"
Shen Weiyi said, "I heard the interviews for each club are at different tis, Xiao Yue and I can co with you to the interview and cheer you on."
Yan Xiaoyue nodded, indicating her agreent.
"Okay, thanks, you guys are the best." Fang Jing smiled upon hearing this, then looked at Shen Weiyi again, "I heard Z University has dozens of clubs, you can go check them out and then decide."
"Sure!"
