"Sheng Ting..."
Shen Weiyi had just opened her mouth to speak when she saw the other party suddenly jerk the steering wheel sharply, and then, a car brushed past their vehicle.
Had Sheng Ting not reacted quickly just now, the two cars would almost certainly have collided.

Sheng Ting’s brows furrowed, then he pulled the car over to the side of the road and said to Shen Weiyi, "Wait for a mont." After speaking, he opened the car door and got out.
Shen Weiyi also unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car.
The accident was quite serious; several cars were hit, with the worst one having its entire body flipped over.
People from the cars began to erge one after another, and vehicles passing by also stopped to help. Together, they rescued the driver from the overturned car.
The driver was seriously injured and had lost consciousness.
After the injured were sent to the ambulance and the traffic police arrived on the scene to complete their reports, Sheng Ting returned to the car and asked, "What was it you wanted to tell earlier?"
"Nothing," Shen Weiyi shook her head.
She had just witnessed the terrible state of the cars behind them. Had it not been for Sheng Ting’s quick reaction, they might be the ones lying in the ambulance right now.
The thought that they had narrowly avoided a car accident left her feeling shaken.
"Did it scare you?" Seeing her pale face, Sheng Ting couldn’t help but ask in a gentle voice.
"It’s okay."
She had indeed been a little scared at first, but seeing him in that mont sohow settled her nerves.
Shen Weiyi’s gaze then fell upon the cuff of his white shirt, stained with blood from the rescue. Thinking about how he was the first to rush forward to save people, Shen Weiyi realized she still didn’t know much about him.

That night, Shen Weiyi had a nightmare in which her young self was bound hand and foot in a car that careened wildly before finally crashing into a road barrier.

Her face was pale, and her forehead was dotted with fine beads of sweat.
At the final mont of the dream, she found herself engulfed in darkness. The sensation of nearing death made her shiver with cold and almost struggling to breathe.
The dream felt so vivid, as if she had experienced it herself.
The dim light in the room brought her so asure of comfort.
Shen Weiyi touched her chest, feeling her heart still pounding fiercely. Glancing at the ti, it was not even one o’clock in the morning. She then got out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, and took out a bottle of iced water.
She unscrewed the cap and gulped down most of it. Her heartbeat seed to calm down a bit, so she then closed the fridge and prepared to go back to her room.
Passing through the living room, she saw Shen Juanzhi lying on the sofa...
