"Talking about what?" Li ngjie wasn’t actually asleep, and upon hearing the question, she turned around, her face wearing a strange smile as she looked at Ling Xuejiu, and said, "Xue Jiu, could it be that you’re feeling ’springy’?"
"Huh?" Ling Xuejiu was taken aback, then quickly realized what that ant and said with a blush, "You little dead girl, it’s you who’s feeling ’springy’!"
"Hehe, Xue Jiu, you’re getting angry out of embarrassnt, right?" Li ngjie said with a laugh.
"Humph!" Ling Xuejiu rolled her eyes, then with a serious face said, "Alright, Xiao Jie, let’s not talk about this anymore. Shall we talk about sothing else, okay?"
"Hmm~! Alright then, what should we talk about?" Li ngjie wondered aloud, then suddenly smiled with squinted eyes, "How about we share so truths? Hehe, Xue Jiu, it seems like we hardly ever speak our hearts out anymore now that we’ve grown up."
"Hehe." Ling Xuejiu also chuckled and said, "Sure, but what kind of truths should we talk about?"
"Do you still rember the truths you used to tell when we were kids?" asked Li ngjie.
"Hm!" Ling Xuejiu was a little puzzled by Li ngjie’s question and said, "I said so many truths back then, how could I rember them all? However, I do rember so."
Li ngjie giggled and said, "So what do you rember?"
Ling Xuejiu said, "I rember you saying that when you grow up, you wanted to be an angel with wings so that you could fly anywhere to play."
Li ngjie’s little face turned red; thinking back, all these groundless things were indeed quite childish. Not wanting to be outdone, she brought up Ling Xuejiu’s embarrassing monts and said, "You said that when you grow up, you wanted to go to the moon to see Sister Chang’e, huh!"
Ling Xuejiu couldn’t help but laugh. After watching a TV series called ’The Brilliant Pig Bajie,’ she felt pity for Chang’e, the lonely Fairy living in that cold, icy Moon Palace. So she wanted to go up there to keep Chang’e company. Thinking about it now was both annoying and funny, and she said, "You little dead girl, you dare to laugh at ? Don’t forget, back then you also said you were an Angel who could take to see Sister Chang’e."
"Hehe..." Li ngjie laughed and said, "I rember that I used to not want to do my howork and always let you do it first. Once you were done, I would copy yours. Later, when you found out, you hid your howork away. You were really bad."
"..." Ling Xuejiu was briefly stunned; this was the past, hardly relevant to revealing truths. Yet, when Xiao Jie talked about it, she couldn’t help but reminisce about those happy tis. She pursed her lips and said, "What do you an I was really bad? I did that for your own good, you know. If you just copy my howork all the ti, how could your academic performance improve?"
"Hmm~! That’s true." Li ngjie said, seemingly acknowledging her fault, but then she added sothing that almost made Ling Xuejiu faint from frustration, "Back then, I scored full marks on every test. Even if I wanted to improve, I couldn’t, could I?"
Ling Xuejiu said irritably, "Smug Xiao Jie, just be proud of yourself."
Li ngjie chuckled and said, "Xue Jiu, the things we thought of when we were kids really were so naive, weren’t they?"
"Who hasn’t had a naive ti?" Ling Xuejiu pouted, then added, "But, Xiao Jie, have you noticed? When we were kids, we actually had it pretty good, didn’t we? All carefree and happy every day!"
