"He..."
Ling Xuejiu completely lost her composure, uttering just one word before she stared wide-eyed!
Was that the sa boy in the white shirt and black tight slacks as the rustic student Leng Xuan from before? It was too unbelievable!
"He what?" Li ngjie asked curiously, turning her head to glance at Ling Xuejiu, saw the surprised expression on her face, then followed her gaze. Just as Leng Xuan walked up close, his handso appearance and his faint aura suddenly made Li ngjie’s eyes light up!
Seeing the two young ladies staring at him, dumbfounded, Leng Xuan wondered if he had grown a sore on his face. He unconsciously touched his face before asking, "So, how do I look? Does this outfit fit well?"
"Cold Bodyguard, you’ve turned handso!" Li ngjie blurted out without restraint.
Leng Xuan, after all, was human. Being praised by Li ngjie made him blush slightly, yet he pretended to be very serious and said, "Really? I was handso to begin with, wasn’t I?"
"Pfft!" Li ngjie nearly burst out laughing. She had never realized that Leng Xuan could be so thick-skinned when bragging about himself.
Rolling her eyes, Ling Xuejiu had to admit Leng Xuan indeed had changed, and drastically so. But for her to complint Leng Xuan was much harder than going a day without food. With a snort, she put on her young mistress deanor and asked accusatorily, "Where did you go just now?"
Leng Xuan looked at her puzzledly and said, "Didn’t you see? I was buying clothes!"
Ling Xuejiu responded, "Why did you go buy clothes without saying anything?"
Leng Xuan was speechless, thinking to himself, wasn’t it you who left without saying a word, and now you’re blaming ?
Ling Xuejiu seed to realize there was a problem with what she said, so she changed tack, "From now on, don’t you fall behind without my permission, got it?"
Leng Xuan felt helpless. The young mistress was simply not a reasonable person. No matter how much he talked, it was useless. He just gave a wry smile and stayed silent.
"Cold Bodyguard, that outfit of yours looks quite nice, how much was it?" Li ngjie said, and then sothing occurred to her, "Right, where’s my card?"
"Card? What card?" Leng Xuan asked, puzzled.
Li ngjie was taken aback and said, "Didn’t I give my card to the cashier to help you pay and then..."
"Sir, please wait a mont!" Before Li ngjie could finish, she saw the earlier cashier running over with a card, out of breath, "I’m sorry, I forgot to swipe your card just now."
Leng Xuan was truly bewildered, touching his nose. Just then, Li ngjie walked over, took the card from the cashier’s hand, and asked, "Cashier, you didn’t charge his card?"
The cashier’s face turned red. When Leng Xuan ca out earlier, he was indeed quite shocked. After all, Leng Xuan was just a bumpkin, but once he changed his clothes he looked so handso. It wasn’t until Leng Xuan walked past him and directly settled the bill at the front desk that the cashier snapped out of his daze and hurried after him. Faced with Li ngjie’s question, the cashier was so flustered that he stuttered, "I’m sorry, just now... I..."
"You had a mory lapse, didn’t you?" Li ngjie said, irritated.
"Ah, no, no!" The cashier’s face grew even redder.
"Forget it, you can go!" Li ngjie didn’t want to dwell on it, but she was really annoyed inside. She had intended to buy Leng Xuan so clothes, but who would have thought there could be such a foolish cashier?
