After Joel finished speaking, he suddenly looked at Peter and said aningfully, “Pete, when did you beco so concerned about our Mia? Didn’t you already distance yourself from her previously? You even said that there’s a difference between n and won when you grow up.”
Peter coughed and took a step forward. “Uncle, Mia is my cousin, and she’s very popular in school. Mia is too innocent and I’m just afraid that she’ll be deceived by soone with ulterior motives.”
Joel scanned Peter from head to toe.
The boy looked tall and handso in a black suit. He looked like a replica of Justin. His expression was serious and he didn’t look like he was lying.
Besides, Joel couldn’t figure out what Peter wanted to use him for.
He patted him on the shoulder. “Okay, I understand.”
With that, he turned and went downstairs.
Peter leaned against the railing of the corridor on the second floor and saw Joel co to Tanya and Mia. He said sothing and took the boy away in a short while.
The sly old fox was smiling, and the boy’s attention was completely diverted by him. Even if he still wanted to look at Mia, he was imdiately distracted by the sly old fox.

Peter’s lips curled up unconsciously.

Mia picked up a piece of mousse cake and placed it in Tanya’s hand. Then she looked up and glanced upstairs.
