Aurianna let out a deep sigh, her pen scraping across the parchnt with a sense of tediousness. The room around her was stiflingly dull, filled with nothing but dry lectures and endless books. Even the act of drawing gory images failed to lift her spirits. "Hah, so fucking boring," she breathed out heavily.

"Princess, please mind your manners," ca the reprimanding voice of Balsvo, her teacher. He straightened his glasses and stared at her with nervousness as he stopped writing on the board.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Aurianna sat up and rolled her eyes dismissively at him. Her thoughts wandered, ’I’d rather spend ti fighting with Leila than be in this boring lecture,’ She thought as she looked at the pile of books beside her and frowned.

"I guess this is one bad trait of mine that kinda sticks with . The despise to study."

"You’re growing quite attached to her," Eva’s voice resounded in Aurianna’s head, startling her.

’It’s hard not to, we did spend a long ti in the Domain Prison together,’ Aurianna responded to Eva.

"The outco is different from what I thought," Eva said quietly as a slight smile appeared on her lips.

"What do you an?" Aurianna asked, ignoring Balsvo’s lecture entirely.

"Well you both have different personalities, so maybe like they always say, opposites attract," Eva giggled, her form materializing beside Aurianna.

"Well she’s quite easy to get along with," Aurianna muttered as an image of Leila’s mories flashed in her mind.

Leila appeared as a young girl and was in chains. She trembled in the dark cellars as tears flowed from her eyes. Leila closed her blue eyes and cried softly, "Master, please don’t leave here."

"Aurianna, are you paying attention?" Balsvo’s voice shattered her daydream, and she jerked up. "What?!" She pursed her lips and frowned.

"Hah, princess, you need to focus on your studies!" Balsvo chided her with a serious expression that imdiately turned to nervousness and frantic.

"Yeah, yeah my attention is here, so stop crying," Aurianna waved her hand dismissively and a chuckle escaped her lips at her teacher’s funny display of emotions.

"Hmm, sir Blasvo, if soone believes lies without hearing your part of the story what does this an?" Aurianna asked, a dark grin spreading across her face. Balsvo gulped nervously.

He closed his eyes and pondered for a while before looking at Aurianna, "Hmm this is a tricky question," Balsvo stroked his beard thoughtfully, a troubled expression on his face before he stated, "But it ans that they’re already looking for a way to be against you." he finally replied.

’I wonder why the princess would ask such a question?’ Balsvo wondered and imdiately noticed the hurt expression on Aurianna’s face, "You should really avoid such people, princess." He advised as he nervously scratched his cheeks.

"Are you worried about ?" Aurianna asked with a cheeky grin and Balsvo blushed a bit embarrassed.

"I know you’re strong enough to handle yourself, princess!"

"I’m ssing with you, so don’t worry," Aurianna said as she began to copy the notes on the board.

"I guess I don’t fully know the answer to every question," she mumbled to herself with a dark expression.

The rest of the day passed in a haze of dull lectures and tedious study. As the sun began to set and the sky turned a deep orange, Aurianna retired to her room and jumped into her bed.

"You can co out now, Zagan nobody is here!" She yelled and looked around.

"Master??" A small male voice could be heard, and a black sli ball appeared from under her bed and climbed up to her bed.

The black sli imdiately took the shape of a human with four ears, but its body still remained black. Its dark orange, beady eyes stared at Aurianna and hugged her.

"Awe, Zagan. Are you hungry? See what master has got for you..." Aurianna cooed as she patted Zagan’s sleek black sli body, her voice dripping with tenderness and affection,.

A white space appeared next to her and she placed her hand inside and removed an object from out and handed it to Zagan.

"A nice human hand," Aurianna said with an innocent smile her eyes shining with a wicked light as she threw it to Zagan. A grotesque offering that would make any sane person shudder. Zagan’s mouth imdiately reford into a massive monster’s mouth and devoured the hand in one bite. The sight of it was enough to make anyone’s blood run cold, but Aurianna stared at him unfazed.

"I’m glad you’re enjoying it," Aurianna bead at Zagan, her hands on her face and she kicked her legs playfully.

Zagan, for his part, was a creature of few words, his blank stare betraying nothing of the thoughts that swirled inside his mind, Master smiled.’

"To think the black egg I took back then at Mavis’ place would grow this much," she muttered as she watched Zagan return to normal and blank at her innocently.

"Hah, I rember when he first hatched," Aurianna reminisced and thought of what happened two years ago.

The black egg in her inventory was imdiately evicted, and she wondered why she couldn’t place it back in. Aurianna then decided to watch the egg the whole night as she read through the book she took about the black playti. It was late in the night, the two full moons were high in the sky and the moonlight shone through her window wills and unto the black egg.

The black egg trembled violently and Aurianna imdiately summoned her shotgun, ready for whatever was about to erge from the egg. Five pointed black broke pierced out of the egg and out erged a sli-like figure with two beady orange eyes that stared at Aurianna. Its body imdiately turned huge and several teeth marks appeared around it, but Aurianna stared at it unfazed and smirked.

The monster launched at her and Aurianna shot it, severely injuring it and causing it to whimper.

"If you don’t try to eat I won’t hurt you," Aurianna said with a smile, but the monster launched at her again. Seeing it ignoring what she said, gave the monster several beatings every single day until it finally submitted to her.

"He tried to attack , but I gave him a good beating, and he beca obedient," Aurianna said out loud and Zagan trembled a bit rembering the events of that fateful night. He quickly jumped off her bed and crawled back as he began whimpering.

"I’m not going to hit you, so co back," Aurianna laughed and Zagan brightened up. He imdiately claid back to her bed and laid by her side.

"To think that the book and egg I stole from Mavis’ experint room, was her making an ultimate black playti," Aurianna poked Zagan’s cheeks, and he looked at her with a confused expression.

"Yeah, it grew from being like a sli to a boy," Eva materialized from the void, her form taking shape as a shimring mist before solidifying into her usual appearance. She sprung onto Aurianna’s Queen size bed, her short white hair cascading down her neck.

"I like how he can shape-shift you know," Aurianna grinned, her eyes lighting up with mischief, "Do you want more human flesh Zagan?"

"No Zagan wants real food. Like what master eats," he shook his head.

"Oh you’re lucky, I did save so food for you. In case you were still hungry," Aurianna placed both of her hands into the white space and removed a plate of roasted at and so rice.

Zagan looked at the food with sparkly eyes and looked at Aurianna then at the food. He then took the entire plate and his mouth stretched wide, and he gulped the food and plate down easily.

"I feel keeping him is a burden," Eva grunted as she stared at Zagan.

"I don’t think so, though. Let’s say he’s more like a useful asset or tool. He may be useful one-day with his shapeshifting abilities, plus it’s extrely hard for others to detect his presence, even those secret knights who watch from the shadows can’t detect him easily," Aurianna said, her voice filled with pride. Zagan nodded in agreent, his white star pupil glowing brightly..

"Zagan co here," Aurianna opened her arms and Zagan held her hands.

She looked up at Eva and asked, "Now then Eva, please tell how to use my servant class skill."

"Just imagine giving him a mark, and it would work," Eva replied and Aurianna nodded, ’I didn’t really understand what she ant, but oh well.’

"I hereby declare you as my servant," Aurianna stated, and a dim white light surrounded Zagan and entered his eyes. When he opened his eyes, it revealed a white star in the middle of his pupil and he blinked at Aurianna and titled his head in confusion. Aurianna was a bit surprised by the skill and kept on examining him until her curiosity was fulfilled.

"Now then you’ll never be able to betray no matter what. You belong to only," she said to Zagan who looked at her thoughtfully.

"Hmm master Eva," Zagan spoke out, turning to Eva.

"Yes kid?" Eva replied.

"So I am now bound to master Aurianna forever like you?" He asked curiously with an innocent expression as he pointed at Aurianna.

Eva tilted her head and smiled, "I guess so. It’s quite a pity to be living with this narcissistic child and enduring her everyday."

"What did you say?!!" Aurianna growled at Eva, who mischievously giggled.

"I don’t believe it’s bad, actually I’m quite happy," Zagan smiled.

"Eva, to think you could teach a mindless monster English within two years. You’re quite impressive," Aurianna praised, and Eva snorted pridefully.

"I’m a genius after all!"

"As if, all you have is a big ego, you can’t even train properly," Aurianna grumbled and Eva shot a warning glare which caused Aurianna to turn her head away nervously.

’I have restrictions too you know,’ Eva thought silently as she looked at Aurianna.

Zagan looked at Aurianna then at Eva who began floating in the air, "So no one can see master Eva apart from and Master Aurianna?"

"Yep, you got special privileges, little monster," Eva gave a thumbs up. "You should quickly grow big and strong, so you can help , one day, deal with this horrendous child." She cried and Aurianna summoned a blade into her hands, ready to slash at Eva.

"Princess, it’s ti for your evening bath!" A group of maids announced from her first door to her room, which she heard loudly.

"Quickly go hide in the dungeons," Aurianna carried Zagan and placed him on the floor. He looked at Aurianna and Eva one last ti before he jumped out of the window and scurried away, his body blending with the surroundings.

"It’s a pity I couldn’t keep him in the void space," Aurianna sighed and Eva nodded in agreent.

"The void space would reject any external being that isn’t ," Eva said before she

too disappeared.

"I guess I’ll be seeing Leila this evening then."
